After 10 years.

The Jeon family came back from a small birthday party for their youngest daughter, who just turned 16 years old.

Lily angrily stepped into the living room with her parents and brothers behind her.

"Jeon Lily, you can not just turn your back on me and walk away without talking"

Lily stopped in the middle of the living room and turned around. Her father was looking hella angry. She doesn't even know when it was the last time she saw him like that. Probably 2 years ago when some guy was looking at her and he was killing that boy with his eyes.

Jeon Jungkook sighed deeply and looked at her. He sat down on the couch and tapped next to him for his daughter to sit.

"Who's that guy, Lily?"

Lily looked at her father a few seconds and was hesitated to tell him the real truth.

"Dad, you know he's just a close friend"

Jungkook couldn't help but feel disappointed in himself. Ever since they got back together as a family again, he tried to teach his children one thing. Telling the truth no matter what it is.
Seeing his daughter still not telling him the truth even after 10 years of trying to teach her that, he kinda felt sad.

Once Lisa, Dasom and Gureum felt the awkwardness, they went to their rooms and left Jungkook and Lily alone. They needed to talk alone.

Jungkook put both of Lily's hands into his and massaged them softly.

"You know you can always tell me the truth, right? And I have never seen two normal friends kissing secretly without their parents knowing"

Lily's cheeks were red the moment she heard her father. She can never lie at him. She is too obvious or her father is probably a good face-reader.

"Come on, tell us"

Lisa came from upstairs too. All freshened up and in her pyjamas. She was looking so beautiful. Making Jungkook fell more deeply in love with her than he already was.

Lily looked down "He-He is my classmate and I had a small crush on him. And he just told me he likes me too-" She closed her eyes. Expecting them to be angry with her.

"But I promise I was going to tell you after the party"
Her tone got lower and lower with every word that came out of her mouth. The reaction she was expecting still didn't happen.

Once she looked up, the smile on her parents' faces didn't go unnoticed by her and the two boys eavesdropping behind the wall.

"W-what happened?"

Her brothers came out from behind the wall and shouted at the same time, making their helper come from the kitchen and look at them with a wide smile on her face.

The boys pulled their sister up and danced with her. To literally no music.

The smiles on Lisa's and Jungkook's face were exactly as wide as the helper's one.
He pulled her closer to him and kissed the side of her head.
"She is growing up"

People really have happy endings like some people in those fantasy fictions.

10 years ago, after Lisa came out of the operation room, all healthy and good, she realised how time could fly so fast and you could die the next day without anyone by your side.

After hours of thinking, she decided to give Jungkook his last chance as he came in with all her friends and family from Thailand to celebrate her being healthy again.

She would never forget that moment. When he went down on his knees and opened his heart to her. Saying how stupid he was to leave them that day.

Lisa saw how sure he was this time. His eyes could tell. He was saying the truth and this time Lisa was sure.
