"Hey guys! There are a pair of human legs stuck on the dragon!" Luffy shouted after he climbed onto the dragon to check it out.

"A pair of legs?" Shanna gasped. Could it be.... Her eyes widened. After Zoro finally cut down the dragon, Shanna was able to see the said legs with her own eyes. "Ah-" She stood speechless when she saw the moving legs. But that's-

Luffy pulled the legs off of the dragon, and with a thud, he too fell onto the ground. "AAAH! I-IT'S MISSING!" Usopp screamed.

"What's missing?" asked Luffy as he sat up, and that's when he noticed what was missing. The torso. "AAAAHHHH! HE'S TORN IN HALF! I'M SORRY!"

"You fool! Sorry isn't enough! You killed him!" Usopp cried.

Suddenly the legs started twitching by the crotch, and it popped up. "Oh, I'm finally separated from it-bu!" the legs said.

"WHAT?!" cried Luffy and Usopp.

"Just the bottom half is talking!" Usopp exclaimed.

"Just a minute," Robin interjected. She walked forward towards the severed dragon head, inspecting it. "There's no upper half here."

"What do you mean?" asked Zoro.

"Could it be he was just a lower body from the start?" Usopp wondered.

"What a strange guy," said Luffy.

Shanna looked down, her brows furrowed. No, she thought. There's no way this guy is just a lower body. This is definitely his devil fruit power. Could it be...he's on this island too?

The lower body spouted something and ran off, and as he ran away he said, "That goddamn Warlord!" That's when it finally struck Shanna. She suddenly lost the strength in her legs and fell to the ground.

"Shanna?" Zoro turned towards the red haired girl. His eyes widened with confusion when he saw the look on her face. There was so much written on her face it was impossible to read her expression, but one thing was for sure, she was definitely not happy.

"I-It's him...." Shanna muttered.

"WAIT! LEGS!" Luffy shouted as he chased after the legs.

Usopp sighed helplessly, "Luffy is so whimsical. What does he like about those legs?"

"It troubles me that he mentioned the Seven Warlords," said Robin.

Zoro walked over to Shanna and knelt down by her. "Shanna, could it be, you know that guy?" he asked.

"No," Shanna shook her head. "But I think I know which warlord he's talking about."

"Eh?" Robin and Usopp turned their way. "Who?"

Shanna, after calming down, finally regained the strength in her legs. With Zoro's help, she got up on her feet again. The red haired girl faced the other three pirates, her brows slightly furrowed and her ocean blue eyes full of worry. "There's only one person I know that can severe someone's body without killing them.... And it just so happens that he became a warlord during the two years you Straw Hats were gone," Shanna said. "And that's my former captain... the Surgeon of Death, Trafalgar Law."

....

"Ahhhhh!" Shanna screamed. "Law you cut him! You cut him in half!" The girl cried and started shaking the boy violently as she pointed at the severed body of Penguin's.

"Calm down," Law hissed at the ten year old girl. "He's not dead."

"Eh?" Shanna's tears stopped flowing as she looked down at Penguin.

"Hey, Shanna-chan! This feels so weird," Penguin said, lifting his arm and making a peace sign.

"EEEHHHHHH! HE'S TALKING! HE'S CUT IN HALF BUT HE'S TALKING!" Shanna screamed. Beside her, the older boy covered his ears in annoyance.

"Shut up Shanna! You're bothering me!" Law shouted. "Now go back and study or something. Or go practice that thing that Bridgette-san taught you. Stop distracting us from training."

"But Law, is this also your devil fruit power? You can cut people and they won't die?" the little girl asked.

The older boy smirked at the girl, his face full of confidence and pride. Seeing her sparkling eyes full of anticipation, the teenage boy couldn't help the urge to show off to the little girl. "Oh I can do way more," he said. "Watch this. Tact!" Penguin's bodies started floating in the air.

"W-WHOAAAA-OH!" the boy panicked as he lost the feeling of gravity. "Oh my god this is so weird!"

"Hehe," Law then waved his hand around, and then Penguin's waist connected onto his head.

"EEH?!" Shanna exclaimed. "You can do that?!"

"I can control anything in this room of mine," Law explained. "It's like a surgery room, and I'm the doctor. I have full control of everything inside. For example.... Shambles!"

In a blink of an eye, Shanna was facing Law, instead of standing beside him, and instead Penguin was standing beside Law, his head stuck to his waist comically. "That's so cool!" Shanna chirped. "As expected of Law!"

...

Shanna shook the memory out of her head as they found the ice side of the island. Now they know why the person in the transponder snail was saying that it's cold. The five of them stood on the roof of one of those buildings, and they were still quite the distance away from the lake in between the the fire side and the ice side.

Luffy seems determined to go to that side of the island, and to get there they have to cross the lake in between. Although Shanna was reluctant to go, since she was skeptical that Law would be on that side of the island, she still decided to follow Luffy. It can't be helped since she was the one who wanted to travel with the Straw Hats. Since she joined their crew, she'll obey the Captain.

"Looks like we'll have to cross the lake to get to the other side," said Robin.

"The problem is how do we cross that lake," Zoro said.

Usopp stepped towards them, panting as he said, "I don't know if we can live long enough to get to the lake in the first place."

Suddenly, there was some sort of ruckus going on where Luffy ran off to, and so Zoro and Shanna went to check. They looked down from the building where they stood, and there they saw a strange man talking to Luffy. "What's up with his legs?" asked Shanna as she squatted down. Ugh, it's too hot here.

"A panther centaur?" Usopp raised a brow.

Luffy and the centaur seemed to be getting along. The two of them even started racing each other. Usopp then received a call on his transponder snail. It was Brook. Shanna let out a long sigh as she fanned herself. "Dang, it's so hot over here," she muttered. "I'm dying to get some water...."

"Eh? Are you all by yourself?!" Usopp suddenly exclaimed, catching their attention. Apparently, Brook got separated from the others, or rather, the others got separated from him. When he woke up, everyone was gone, there was snow everywhere, and there were intruders on the Sunny. However, before he could ask them who they are, he had already cut them. However, one thing he said that was noteworthy was that all the intruders wore gas masks.

"Nami and the others are probably abducted," Shanna said. "I mean if they didn't leave a note, there's a good chance that those intruders gassed you guys and took the others. They probably ignored Brook because he's a skeleton."

"Do you see any buildings around?" asked Robin.

"Hmm. Well there is a building. It doesn't look like a restaurant," said Brook.

Robin and Shanna exchanged looks, and they nodded at each other. Robin then turned to the transponder snail and said, "We'll head over right now. Wait there."

"Understood. Robin-san in that case when you get here can I see your under-"

Robin hung up the transponder snail before Brook could finish his question. Shanna chuckled. "He's more perverted than he seems," she laughed.

They still don't know who the enemies are. They could be the navy, or Trafalgar Law... Shanna frowned worriedly. She bit her bottom lip as she started to think about the possibilities. If they head over to the snowy side, there's a good chance that she'll see Law again. Hopefully he already left. Anything but running into that man, she thought.

Noticing her worry, Zoro asked, "Are you worried you'd run into your old captain?" Shanna lifted her head a little started by the question. She then looked towards the other side of the island. Luffy also stared at her, waiting for her answer.

...

"So why did you and your captain get into an argument?" asked Luffy when they almost neared Fishmen Island.

Shanna turned her gaze towards the straw hat wearing captain. She tilted her head at the boy who was eating a piece of meat in his hands. "Do you really wanna know?" she asked.

"Yeah!" Luffy chirped.

"Well, to make it simple, he broke something important of mine," Shanna mumbled, looking away. Her eyes narrowed on the depth of the deep sea, as if she were looking into the far past.

"Important?" asked Luffy.

A sad smile formed on her lips as she turned back and met gazes with the straw hat wearing boy. "Yeah, something really important," she said. As insensitive as Luffy can get, he could at least tell that she wanted to leave the question at that.

"Then, will you be going back?"

Shanna scratched her head, and her lips curled into an awkward smile as she explained, "We didn't really end on a good note, so I guess I don't really wanna see his face as of now. So no, I don't plan on going back, even though I kind of miss the others..."

...

Luffy knows perfectly well that Shanna doesn't really have fond memories of her previous captain, so if she doesn't want to risk seeing him, Luffy won't force her. However, the rest of them are definitely going to cross the lake to save Nami and the others. Shanna smiled at Luffy and the others, reassuring them. "Nami and the others are my friends too. Even though I don't wanna see that guy's face, there's no telling that he'll actually be there. So of course saving our friends takes top priority," She said.
