Kinda a Cat Noir and Ladybug situation

You admire him from afar during school

But he was quite smitten with you when he first saw you in your hero outfit

At first your both very awkward to each other

He tries flirting the first few times you see each other, but quickly drops it because he just sounds so dumb

You're either too oblivious, focused, or daydreaming about Danny Rand

Sometimes picks you flowers as a sign of his affections

Nova tries to hold in his laughs when your with the group

Iron Fist first tried to convince you to join SHIELD, but he realized you needed time to grow on your own and actually helps defend you when everyone tries to drop obvious hints or outright asks you a dozen times to join SHIELD

Tho when asked by Powerman if you like Iron Fist you said no and that you liked someone else at school, then you were curious on why he asked you that

It was either b/c the whole team shipped you guys b/c they had nothing better to do or Iron Fist really did like you

You figured it was the first thing

You drew Iron Fist as you thought about this during lunch

One of your friends noticed

"Oooh~ (Y/N), I didn't know you had a crush on Iron Fist!"
"I um...don't...I was just thinking-"

Basically the group heard the whole conversation and were nudging Danny in the ribs and grinning like idiots because they found a new ship

Danny doesn't know what to do

Wonders if he should let (H/N) go

Figured he should get to at least know you first

It was kinda creepy but he's a hero so it's fine

He was well-intentioned tho

You were totally freaked out that he just appeared out of nowhere

But when you realized it was him, you relaxed

You tried to keep it cool as you asked him if he truly did believe if (H/N) should join SHIELD

He gave a super thoughtful response that said yes, but if she wished to stay solo it was up to her

He ended up falling for you

You ended up falling for Iron Fist

It was now an opposite Cat Noir-Ladybug situation

You eventually did join SHIELD

When you guys saw each other without the mask it was like this

Then he realized he unknowingly directly confessed his feelings to you

He's so awkward it's kinda funny, but it's kinda not at the same time

Nova has had enough of this stupid awkwardness

Shoves you two into the janitor's closet

You guys try to say something but end up talking at the same time

All you did was put a hand on his shoulder

He totally lost his train of thought as his face turned a bright pink

You tell him that you did have a crush on him, as Danny Rand and recently, Iron Fist

End up telling him everything there and then

He feels super blessed and happy

You go to kiss him but he stops you

Explains that since this is his first relationship and that because of the traditions and not only spiritual but religious laws he abides by, he wants to take things slow

You agree, but feel really stupid

Danny, seeing your embarrassment, offers you a hand hug instead

It might not be a kiss, but it holds the same sincerity and intimacy as one

His hands are so warm tho!

At first glance it looks like you and Danny aren't dating, but you are

He always gives you these delicate little touches every now and then

Sometimes they're for encouragement

Others they're for reassurance

He also uses it as a way to say 'I love you'

Also shows his affection through cuddles and hugs

If you're standing for more than ten seconds he is super likely to hug you in some way, shape or form

Same thing for when you're sitting

He loves cuddling with you

You love it too

He's so warm and smells like incense

It's really peaceful and nice

Until the team starts taking like 1,000 pictures of you guys

You chase him around for a bit before you either get tired or Danny stops you

They take so much more when you end up falling asleep together

Or at least when you're asleep

Danny doesn't mind when they take pictures of you being together

They actually send some to him

He rotates them for his wallpaper on his phone

For dates you either walk around together, see movies, cuddle while watching movies on the helicarrier, training and meditation

Also takes you out for picnics and cafe dates too

He's super thoughtful and kind

Tho at first he really liked to spoil you with gifts

You have to tell him to stop because the cost of the gifts were getting ridiculous

Still gets you little things here and there tho

You guys move in together after a few months

You find Danny's arms so comforting and calming that it lulls you right to sleep

Danny just finds reassurance that you're with him and just likes to stay in the moment with you

He doesn't expect anything back but you like to surprise him sometimes

The first time Danny kisses you was when you were together for about a year

You had a really hard mission and you thought you were going to lose each other

After your trips to the infirmary you walked back to your room together, supporting each other

Something in Danny's brain clicked and the next moment he had you against the wall, asking if he could kiss you

Of course you said yes

Danny's kisses were well worth the wait

They're passionate but tender

You don't share them very often but when you do it's a definite mood lifter

Danny trusts you 100% with other guys, but still keeps his eye out just in case

If he sees you visibly getting uncomfortable he'll walk over and put his arm around you

You've established a system where if you put your hand over the one on your waist you're uncomfortable and you want out

If it's the palm of your hand you just need him there with you

If the guy completely ignores him Danny stays silent until you signal that you want to go

If he tries to start a conversation or asks him who he is he will answer in his usual tone who he is and that he's your boyfriend

You do the same thing with Danny

You're so glad you have this system

If you do signal to Danny that you want out he'll dismiss you guys on some fake excuse then pull you where the guy can't see you guys and ask if you're alright

He's so frickin' sweet

You guys never really used nicknames before you were dating but you use beloved/ my love/ my prince or my queen interchangeably

Everyone thinks it's cute

You guys are ultimate couple goals

Your friends started an Insta for you

Every time you do something cute they manage to take a pic and hashtag it with 'ultimate couple goals'

You kinda become sorta internet famous

Like you get recognized when you go out together in your hero costumes

You have your own little squads

Made different instas for them

Danny has his 'Respect Women Squad' (they named themselves)

His posts usually consist of dating advice, stories with what to take away at the bottom and his 'fortune cookie quotes'

There's also pictures of you with captions like 'your girlfriend is the most beautiful when she doesn't realize your looking. Tell her.'

Helps nervous young beans with confessing to their crush for the first time and how to treat their girlfriends right

You have your own squad called 'Toast Army' (there was a brainstorm)

Your posts consist of stupid stuff to do with your crush and/ or boyfriend, little pieces of advice you've learned from dating Danny, reminding girls that they should keep in mind of their boyfriends too and it shouldn't be just about them, funny stories of you and Danny, date ideas, hopeless romantic thoughts and pics of Danny when he isn't looking, captions are usually 'literal angel'
