_0Author's POV0_
"Phew, what a bloody aftermath. Ain't it princess?"
Gray said as he put his coat on Octavia as she just snapped her head behind her and couldn't believe what she saw..... It was Gray, he was alive and well with the exception of burns and bruises.
"Gray!"
She cheered, launching herself to him hugging him, as she was gratefully glad to see him alive.
"You're alive!"
She said happy to see him alive her tears running down this time was because of relief and joy to see that Gray was mostly alright.
"Well I suppose I was the last time I looked,"
Gray chuckled, being just as happy to see her as she was to him he then pat her back to stop the hug Octavia blush in embarrassment as she didn't know what had gotten into her.
Gladdened to see that the Masked Demon was alright, Octavia couldn't help but look back in the direction from which they came, her face quickly turning serious for a moment as she gazed upon the exploding, flaming wreckage that was once their boat.
"How did you escape?" she asked while looking for any signs of the monstrous piece of waste. "The Golgothon... is it dead?"
Though she was unable to finish her question, the look of glee Gray had in his eyes and the sword floating beside him shining brighter gave the Goetia Demon her answer.
"I forgot to say that I can do a short teleport," He replied on her first question. "And it's okay cause we fucking turned that Golgothon's ass to ash baby!" He then replied to her second question, this time raising his sword in victory.
At those words, the two Demons, and a sword cheered themselves for their victory, unable to contain themselves with how much joy they felt at that moment. After everything that had happened to them in the past one day, their close brushes with death especially, having one win was worth so much more than they could have hoped for.
"And guess what I've also learned how to do this!"
Gray said swinging his sword as a of flame was unleashed at the mid-flight of the sword launching a crescent shaped flame.
Octavia raised an eyebrow at this as she saw the flame suddenly died out when it hit a waterfall that's flowing up.
"Uh.... Gray, "She gulped, pointed a terrified finger up ahead. "Are waterfalls supposed to flow up!?"
Snapping his head around to see what the Goetia Princess was talking about, Gray gasped in horror. Just as Octavia described it, just a few yards ahead was what could only be described as a reverse waterfall. As the blood flowed towards it, the current swept it upward into a vast black opening that led to who knows where... and the two Demons drifting as raft they were on was floating right towards it with no way to avoid getting caught up.
"Oh, come on, not again!" Octavia exclaimed, unconsciously gripping Gray's hand in fear.
"Hold your breath!" Gray added, following his own instructions. As he grabbed his coat from her and put his sword and coat from his spatial storage.
Taking one last large gulp of air just in the nick of time , all Octavia and Gray could do now was to wait and hope that they would end up somewhere better as they were both swept up in the current, both their head going completely under as the reverse waterfall carried them into the unknown.

Lulu World. One of, if not the greatest theme park in all of Hell, and do not confuse this one with the shameless rip-off and yes it is most certainly the one that resides in the Greed Ring. Needless to say, since this park was the sole property of Lucifer himself, it too was under the same protection as the residences of the Hellish Nobility. However, that didn't mean that the Exorcist weren't allowed to take advantage of the surrounding areas. An example of this is that they couldn't step foot inside the park, but they weren't restricted when it came to flying above it. As such, should any unlucky Demon be simply walking outside the fence, all any of the crueler Exorcist had to do was pick them up off the ground, fly them up so high they couldn't see it anymore... and just let them drop. Those who didn't end up getting impaled on the protruding spikes from the park's attraction ended up becoming smears on the ground so much so that the resident cannibals were able to drink through a straw.
So due to this, the while Lulu World had to be shut down for the whole week after the Extermination was over. Much to their dismay, it fell to the workers who ran the park to clean everything up now that there were no angels to worry about. Since the crack of dawn, they had been shoveling up every chunk of flesh and hosing down every ride, trying to get the blood out of it, before performing other forms of maintenance.
There was one ride, in particular, called Dark Slit Mountain, being one of the most popular of the attractions, which had the fortune of being one of the first to go through the procedure. Had it been in operation, Demons would get in a dark color boat-shaped car and glide over a river of blood, passing by over 100 terrifying animatronic mascots carrying bladed weapons and laughing insanely, before going on an exciting 9-story splash drop over a bloody waterfall and soaring across an entire lake of blood and metal swords tied up into the shape of trees. However at this moment in time, given how many bodies had been dropped near the ride, the entirety of the blood was completely drained, allowing the maintenance workers to haul out the bodies that were clogging up the machinery. Soon enough, every scrap was cleared out with a bit of hard work.
"Alright, start it up!" the head overseer called out, a husky pig-faced demon with four large tusks sticking out of the sides of his bottom jaw.
Upon those instructions, his Imp subordinates started operating the nearby control panel, and soon enough a gushing flow of flesh blood began spurting out of a large pipe sticking out of the concrete ditch that served as the attraction's lake basin. Nobody questioned nor really knew where the blood came from, in fact, most of them didn't even care, but from what the manager of the park understood, Lucifer had an underground reserve of the stuff just sitting underground that needed to be used, and Lulu World seemed to be the best option available.
At first everything seemed to be carrying on as it normally should, but as soon as the lake was half full and the blood was pumping through the attraction, one of the workers heard a strange noise coming from the main blood pipe. Leaning over the safety railing and looking down into the half-empty ditch, he noticed that the blood in the pipe was suddenly churning in an odd manner, until...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!"
"What in the fuck!?"
Startled by the sudden screams which followed the two figures bursting out of the tube, the worker instantly fell back in shock, his jaw-dropping to the ground as he watched the screaming forms of Gray and Octavia shoot up into the sky.
"Aeri zol faal!"
Gray shouted before coughing a lot of blood to be able to do the chanting itself as he used a feather falling magic to both himself and Octavia as they landed slowly to the ground like a feather, but their raft was a different story as it plummeted onto the ground resulting in it being broken into pieces. As both of them started Coughing out all the blood that they had taken in as they both broke the surface, the two Demons looked around, trying to figure out where exactly they landed. To their delight, the fact that they were able to see a familiar red sky only meant one thing, and that was the fact that they were no longer in the underground river as they were back in the Pride Ring.
"Oh, by the Seven Hell," Gray gasped. "Octavia... We made it! We're alive!"
The moment those words left the Masked Demon's mouth, the pair of them cheered with a mixture of joy and relief. Tackling each other in a blind hug, neither one of them even cared about the awkwardness of it, because for both of them, the horrible nightmare was finally over.
"Oy! What the hell are you little bastards doing down there!?"
With their moment of celebration rudely interrupted, both Gray and Octavia snapped their heads onto the source giving him a deadly glare so much so that they saw violet lightning surrounding the Owlette and Gray being surrounded by blue fire. There were only a few words they could say to the shivering Demon.
""Don't interrupt us.""
They warned the Demon as they pulled away from each other with an uncomfortable glance, suddenly the killing atmosphere around them went off and was change with awkwardness and embarrassment. The demon that was shivering finally gained back his senses walking towards the two with killing intent rubbing off the killing atmosphere from before thinking it was just his imagination.
"I said what the hell are you doing down there!?"
He said speaking rudely again. But before he could grab and reach Octavia, Gray suddenly pulled his sword out of his Voidasa Armory and it was a different form of taking out with his spatial storage because the blade was slowly being pulled out rather than instantaneously. He then aimed it at his neck.
"Do not speak to Princess Octavia of Goetia that way, unless you have a death wish."
He warned the pig demon a second time clearly this time the killing atmosphere coming out of him alone was more intense this time than what they both did before, and with his sword on his neck all he could do was fall down to the ground looking at the Masked Demon scared for his life.
"Gray, that's enough," Octavia said holding down his wrist putting the sword away from the pig Demon's neck "Just let us borrow a Hellphone before we start another Fallout here."
"Make it quick my patience isn't as long as her Highness."
He then stood up stoned by knowing the fact that he just threatened a Princess. Fearing for his life he had no choice but to listen so he let them borrow his Hellphone.
"H-Here, your Highness I apologies for my actions before I didn't-" Before he could finish Octavia quickly grabbed the phone.
"Yeah, yeah, you can stop now I won't order him to kill you....unless you do something stupid I'd suggest shutting up cause as my 'bodyguard' here said he doesn't have my patience."
Being the only condition her father had before she was even allowed to have her own phone, Octavia knew both his and her mother's numbers by heart, which was just as well considering this condition was justly needed for situations such as this. Dialing her father's number and placing the Hellphone in her ear, she swallowed a nervous gulp as she heard the dial tone before hearing a familiar voice.
"Uh, Hi... Dad," she said awkwardly, suddenly pulling the phone away from her ears before it was suddenly bludgeoned by a loud wail from the other end of the call.
"VIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
============================================
It took a whole five damn minutes before Octavia was able to calm her father down enough for them both to have a somewhat normal conversation, I don't think I can meet Sir Stolas near his daughter I would probably die from his stares. Gray shivered at the thought.
Well, as normal as their conversation could get given the amount of blubbering and cheers of joy her father kept spurting out for her safety despite Octavia constantly assuring him that she was alright. After giving him a quick rundown of what happened to her, choosing to spare him some of the more horrific details as the river of blood and the Golgothan for when she was sure he could handle it, Octavia then gave her father the exact details of where she and Gray found themselves. The moment he received that information, Stolas told his daughter that he would be sending a car to pick her up immediately.
"We should probably head to the exit now my lady."
Gray commented as she finished her phone call and gave it back to the Pig Demon.
"Yeah, we should, do you mind giving us an escort on the way out? Not you just send someone you guys are busy and all."
The pig Demon was baffled like how could a princess still ask as if nothing happened when he himself has threatened her.... and the fact that she asked for a different escort and knows that he still has a job to do a single tear form in his eye as he rubs it off.
"Yes, your highness! Thank you! You heard her boys! Escort them to the exit be choppy about it! We still have a job to do!"
He said as the Imps started doing their job again as two Imps approached them and started leading them to the exit it took them about only a minute to reach it as she thanked the two Imps leaving the two of them alone.
"Damn, it's colder outside than it is down there."
She muttered shivering at the fact that she was still drenched from their last exit on the blood river, Gray noticed this as he pulled his coat out clearly not soaked in blood as he manages to put it back in time inside his spatial storage, he heated up the coat evenly as he then wrap it around Octavia as she couldn't help but blush at the gentleman.
"Thanks again Gray."
She thanked him as he tied the front of the coat completely, closing it to not let any breeze of wind get to her.
"It's my pleasure."
He replied as he looked around the area sigh.
"I never seem to get used to it no matter how many times I've seen it... the fallout's end."
Gray commented reacting disgustingly on the Extermination.
"You and me both."
Octavia replied as she saw him evaporating his soaked clothes on his entire body once more.
"Wow, you're magic sure is seriously handy, I barely even practice them."
She said complimenting his capability of using many varieties of magic.
"Eh, it's what the Big Seven trained me for and let me tell you learning magic is no fucking joke especially when your new to it." He said shivering at the memories he had when he was being first taught by it. But Octavia knew what he meant cause if one has failed to do magic chant, it explodes on your face or hands. She then covered her mouth and started laughing as she imagined him failing to try magic.
"Oh, don't worry I know the consequences.... But, still I'm curious? How many times did you fail?" she asked, unable to hold back her laughter any longer.
"I'm not proud for saying this especially to you. But, if I had to guess probably a hundred, if not more."
Gray answered embarrassingly rubbing the back of his head as the certain Goetia Princess besides him started bursting out of laughter.
"But, in all honesty," she said turning towards Gray with a soft gaze. "Thank you for saving my life... at least multiple times than I can count. I know I wasn't the most pleasant company down there, but I want you to know that if there is anything I can do to pay you back, I'll be more than happy to see it done."
Hearing this, Gray fall silent for a moment, knowing that this isn't his first time meeting someone that isn't entitled nor an asshole around hell... especially when said person was a member of the Hellish Nobility. He knows a few Nobles but there were only so few of them that you can only count them with one hand. He then sighed.
"I appreciate it, but you don't need to do anything." he chuckled. "I can handle myself just fine... Just try to lighten up once in a while and we'll call it even."
"Oh, shut up." Octavia laughed, giving him a playful jab in the shoulder.
About half an hour later the promised service from her dad finally arrived as a black limousine came driving around the corner, causing her to gain a relieved smile.
"Well, looks like my rides here," she sighed, turning back to Gray who leaned up against a nearby wall. "Are you sure we can't give you a lift?
Octavia had made the initial offer when she finished the phone call to her dad, feeling that she should at least do that much for Gray after what he had done for her, but alas, the Masked Demon gave her the same answer as he did then.
"I told you didn't I? I'll be fine," he said, giving the Goetia Demon a casual shrug. "You wouldn't want your dad to see you with some devious masked demon besides you right?"
As much as she wanted to retort, Octavia knew that she wasn't going to win this debate. Despite barely knowing him for a day, she had a very strong feeling that Gray was the type of person who was just as stubborn as she was. When the limo finally pulled next to them, the Goetia Demon looked at the coat she had on and then looked back at Gray without even speaking a word he knew what she wanted to asked.
"It's alright I can live without it you need my coat more than me," he said patting the coat "Just promise me one thing, that you'll recover from all of this before you go out to see me."
he said with a serious worrisome tone.
"Oh, come on it's not like I can't handle myself."
she said shrugging it off but deep inside she knew he was right.
"After all that shit you went through I don't think you'll be able to okay. So please promise me."
When Gray said those words Octavia couldn't help but cry she couldn't believe a man like him despite risking his life to help her multiple times in the last 24 hours alone, putting up with her moodiness and the fact that they still barely knew each other, Gray was still willing to do more for her, Just how generous was this guy!?
"Alright, I promise."
As soon as those words left her beak, their right hands suddenly glowed violet as a circular line was growing and stopping its reach to their elbow. Octavia instantly knew what the markings meant it was a promise bond a contract-like magic that will glow and disappear when the promise was fulfilled and if not it will leave a mark to the person asked for the promised leaving a mark forever will remind them of what they broke.
"Seriously, Gray you're full of
