Finally, Freedom after being trapped for...

{Mimir: four months}

Oh...WHAT THE F*CK!?

After that, we began taking in our surroundings and traveling through a large forests. Rimuru expressed worry about not being able to sense Veldora's Presence, but after a quick check in from Mimir. I told Rimuru that the {Unlimited Imprisonment} was keeping Veldora from being digested and he was currently conscious at the moment.

Jasper: Maybe we'll go on some adventures so we have some stories to tell Veldora, once he gets out.

Rimuru: Yeah, Also being outside again the air taste so sweet! Not that I can taste...

Suddenly, Rimuru found himself in Jasper's arms who was grabbing him a protective manner. Before he could ask, a sudden group of nervous looking Goblins appeared in front of them.

Goblin: Strong ones! please forgive me, but do you have some business in the forests?

Rimuru (Does he mean us?)

Jasper (Obviously, why don't you try talking to them.)

That's when Jasper realized his mistake, but he was too late to stop it...

Rimuru: HI IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU ALL! MY NAME IS RIMURU AND THIS IS MY BRO JASPER! WE'RE NOT BAD MONSTERS!

This made Jasper quickly drop Rimuru and had the Goblins fall onto the ground clutching there ears in pain...

Goblin: Please sirs, We're aware of just how powerful you both are. Please spare us from your all powerful voice!

Jasper: WHAT YOU'D SAY!? I THINK I'M DEAF NOW!

After Rimuru lowered the volume of his voice, and I used {Lord of Health, Jophiel} we learned that the Goblins sensed some powerful monsters. So they came to investigate and found us. Rimuru of course at first didn't realize they meant us.

Goblin: Please excuse me, but sense your so strong we wanted to ask you both a favor.

We were then taken to their "Village" and we brought to decently made wooden hut to speak with the Goblin who was both the Elder and leader of the tribe.

Elder: Welcome to our home town. we are welcomed to have you both here.

Rimuru: Nice to meet you, so what kind of favor did you guys need from us?

Elder: Have either of you, perhaps notice the sudden rise in monster activity?

Jasper: Not really, since we've been trapped in cave for about 4 goddamn months.

Rimuru (THAT LONG!?)

Jasper (I KNOW, RIGHT!)

Elder: Well our god who usually protects us, disappeared about a month ago... As a result the monsters around us began to harass and attack our poor village.

Rimuru (Their God? Do they mean Veldora?)

Jasper (Well, 1: The timing fits...I think. 2: There's a literal Muriel of a Dragon above us.)

Elder: We tried to fight them off ourselves, but we simply lack the numbers and resources.

Goblin/Bandana: And that's why we came to you!

Rimuru: I don't know... I'm just a lowly slime-

Jasper: Ask Great sage for 3rd person view of yourself.

Rimuru: Huh?

Jasper: Just do it...

When he did, he finally realized that his massive aura was leaking out everywhere for all to see.

Rimuru (Is this seriously the Aura around me?! I feel like someone who's had his fly open!)

Jasper (Pretty much...)

Rimuru (WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARILER!?)

Jasper (Not my Aura, not my problem.)

He then sucked in his Aura while "glaring" at me, before playing it off as if he was testing the Goblins bravery and boldness to approach something as powerful as him.

Elder: Oh! I understand now you were testing us. Hopefully our people were frightened enough by your power.

Jasper: The fact that you could actually approach us, is rather impressive.

Elder: You honor us with your kind words. Especially, since despite hiding your aura well it's clearly obvious your the more powerful of the 2 of you. The fact, that your a Angel further proves it.

I was being honest when I said I was impressed... Wait, how did those 3 adventurers not sense us? I mean the caster did but only after we left.

Bandana: Also, If I may. Who summoned you?

Jasper: Summoned... oh no one, I just appeared randomly and encountered this slime.

Elder: An Angel  that came here without being summoned... unusual.

Jasper: Half Angel, the other half is Dragon.

Elder: I see that would explain your great power and also why you have a physical body despite being a Spiritual being.

He then began explaining to us about how their village was constantly being attacked by Dire Wolves from the east and many Goblins died in the process, during one of these attacks a Hobgoblin named Rigur died defending them and getting important Information.

Jasper: So that warrior went out there and fought to the end, despite knowing the odds?

Elder: Yes... you see that warrior was my son and his older brother...

Jasper: OH! I am so sorry for bringing up that memory!

Rimuru: How many Goblins are here?

Elder: Including the woman about 60 that can still fight...

Damn, this along with their equipment don't show favorable odds.

Rimuru: Elder, what do we get in return for helping you?

Jasper (DUDE!?)

Rimuru (Relax, I don't actually want anything. I'm just saying it wouldn't hurt to put on a show is all.)

Jasper (I guess... but still, this is a really bad time for that.)

Rimuru (I know, it's a serious A hole move.)

Elder: W-We could offer our undying loyalty, please strong ones we ask for your protection and in return our Village shall serve you.

Before I could say anything I felt my head begin hurting suddenly...

Flashback

I saw what looked like a ruin kingdom and front of me stood a small group of slowly decaying Elves.

???: Please, my lord with our kingdom destroyed and so few of us left we have just about nothing left!

Jasper: Hahaha, Alright I will happily take you in. After all, you did suffer at the hands of that piece of Human Sh*t Jahil. A maggot, who I despise with all my being. So I feel it is my duty to take in those he's wronged even after his second "death".

???: We thank you my lord! I swear me and these former Elves now known as the Deathmen will serve you eternally!

Jasper: So... tell me, what is your name?

???: I was originally an elven princess, but after what that bastard did... I am now known as... Kazalim.

Flashback Ends

Rimuru (Hey, are you okay?)

Jasper (I... think so?)

Suddenly, we heard a massive howl from outside and went out to see all the Goblins panicking and the Elder trying in vain to calm them down.

Rimuru: You have Nothing to fear! Because, we're gonna defeat them.

Elder: D-Does that mean...?

Both: In the leu of the storm Dragon Veldora, we Rimuru & Jasper Tempest promise to protect you!

Rimuru: I've decided to grant you, your wish.

Jasper: I've decided to deliver your wish.

After that, the teary eyed Goblins instantly kowtowed to us and proclaimed their loyalty to us. while also, calling us lords.

We were then taken to their wounded and saw several Goblins with many deep cuts and wounds.

Rimuru (Crap they look bad...)

Jasper (I know... but, It's nothing {Lord of Health, Jophiel} can't fix!)

I then proceeded to whisper the spell and it instantly fixed all there wounds, restored their stamina, and got rid of any fatigue or infection, this left everyone completely amazed.

Rimuru: Okay... now let's see about those defenses!

Later that Night

After a while, we finally had all the defenses and traps set and just in time for the Dire wolves to arrive. Rimuru at first, attempted to persuade into running away... that worked about as well as expected.

Alpha: You insolent wretch! Do you really think a Dire Wolf would listen to a foolish slime!? DESTROY THEIR PITIFUL FENCE, WATER THE GRASS WITH THE BLOOD OF GOBLINS!

As he ordered, about half the pack charge at us, but, luckily then fell for the traps we set killing a large majority of them. Some however, were getting pass and making their way closer.

Jasper: HOLD YOUR FIRE! DON'T SHOOT TIL YOU SEE THE WHITES IN THEIR EYES!

Bandana: Uh... what, my lord?

Jasper: Simple my little red bandana green friend, it means... FIRE WHEN THEY GET CLOSE ENOUGH!

After shouting my orders, the Goblins unleashed a volley of arrows, wiping out the remaining wolf charge. But the leader seemed more focused on the lines of thread that were showing due to being covered in blood.

Rimuru: It's my skill {Steal thread}.

Alpha: This is you're Doing!?

Rimuru : That's Right!

Alpha: A puny monster like you dares to attack us, I'll slaughter you!

Beta: Father wait!

The Alpha then charge down at high speeds easily biting through the Steel thread. Before, jumping into the air and was about to land on Rimuru.

Rimuru: NOW!

A few seconds later after that shout, the Alpha's body was on the ground decapitated. Standing next to him was a young boy with horns. Along with a claw like hand stained with red.

Jasper: Listen up Dire Wolves! I have killed your Alpha, so you have three choices. Submit, Flee, or Die!

At first they didn't move, That's Rimuru got the Idea to use {Predator} on the Alpha's corpse and gaining me gaining a new skill called {Menace}, Then with {Mimicry} he turned into a large Dire Wolf.

Rimuru: Hear me, I will show you mercy just this once! If you refuse to yield to us, then I will give the chance to turn tail and run!

He then proceeded to roar while using {Menace}. Which, to everyone else must've sounded like a powerful and intimidating Howl. But to me, it took all I had to not burst out laughing on the spot.

Surprisingly, the wolves began to slowly approach us. Defying the powerful howl and when they got close to us. They all fell to ground and pledge their loyalty to us. Even though they had the opportunity to leave...

Elder: I-Is it over, did we win?

Rimuru: Yep, All's good in the Goblin Hood!

Jasper (Really...?)

Rimuru (What?)

Jasper (Let's... just be happy this didn't end badly.)

Rimuru (Yeah, you know what they say "Make love, not war".)

The Next Morning

Afterwards, we had all the Goblins and Wolves gather up so we could decide what to do with them.

Rimuru: Ok everyone, here's what we're gonna do about the living situation. We're gonna pair you up.

Everyone: Pair... Up?

Elder: We're not sure what you mean, by the term "pair up" My Lords.

Jasper: Basically, find a partner to form a group of 2 people. preferably, 1 Goblin and Wolf per group.

They then gathered up and found a respective partner.

Jasper: Alright so yesterday's enemy is today's friend, from this day forward we want to all to work together and get along.

Rimuru: So, help each other out and have each other's backs. Got It?

Everyone: Got It!

Rimuru: Next, we'll need to figure the essentials for surviving that being Food, Shelter, and Clothing.

But, just as we were about to assign groups we realized that we didn't know their names or even if they had names.

Jasper: Elder: outside of your son, does any other Goblin here have a name?

Elder: Aside from Rigur then no, since it's rather unusual for monsters to have names. But despite that, we can still communicate our thoughts to each other.

Rimuru: That sounds neat! But still, it would be easier if all had names so we're just gonna give you some.

This made all the Goblins and Wolves flabbergasted and when ask if he was sure. They then began cheering with absolute joy excitement. Making Rimuru all confused.

Meanwhile, I knew that naming a nameless being gave that entity more power, will, and emotion, and could even have a chance at the making the individual evolve. At the drawback of consuming a certain amount of the required magicules.

Jasper (Are you sure, you wanna name them all today?}

Rimuru (Yeah, It's easy.)

This made me sigh since he clearly didn't bother asking his {Great Sage} about the whole naming system. The monsters then formed a line and waited patiently, the first to approach was the Elder

Rimuru: Let's see... your son had a name right?

Elder: Yes, it was Rigur.

Rimuru: That's a cool name, then how about we call you Rigurd.

Just like with the both of us, he was briefly engulfed in yellow light. Signaling his new name.

Rigurd: "Gasp!" To think you would honor me with such a wonderous name, you made me so happy!

We sweat dropped at his reaction. Though, I couldn't really blame him too much for it.

Rimuru: Following the trend, I'm gonna call you Rigur II or just Rigur after your brother.

The same glow engulfed him.

Rigur: Wow, Thanks!

Rigurd: Oh, my! I can't believe my son has been allowed to inherit of other sons name!

They can jumped on to the ground in order to once again kowtow to us. Leaving Rimuru completely confused by their sudden reactions.

Rimuru: Your names Gobta!

Gobta: Thank you, I'll treasure it sirs!

Rimuru: You'll be Gobchi!, uh Gobsu, Gobte? And you're... Gobzo!

He's literally just naming them with different variations of the word Goblin...

Rigurd: Please my Lords, I don't want you both to think that we're ungrateful and we know just how truly powerful you both are. But, are you sure it's a good idea to given names to so many monsters in one sitting?

Rimuru: Uh, I don't see why not...

Already, Rigurd is proving more intelligent then my "Brother"...

Jasper: Still... you could at least be more creative with the names.

Rimuru: I like to see you try!

I then looked to the next Goblin, it was a little girl.

Jasper: How about... Haruna?

Haruna: Kay, Thanks!

I smiled smugly at Rimuru, who just pouted and we named the rest in a competition to see who could give better names.

Jasper: Pretty sure I won.

Rimuru: Like hell you did!

Next, we turned out attention to the Dire Wolves and we were a little worry about them... especially the son of the previous Alpha. But, their wagging their tails at us so...

After a bit of mental gossip between us, we decided on the name Ranga a variation of the name Tempest.

Rimuru: You'll be Ranga!

Ranga: Ranga...

This made his tail wag, then suddenly Rimuru turned into a Puddle after using too much magicules. Where as, I was fine due to both not having named as much and also having a much bigger stack then him.

{Mimir: If it wasn't for him being an Otherworlder. Along with, mainly his connection both you and Veldora which allows him to draw on both your magicules. He would be dead after naming at least one or two of those Goblins.}

Damn... so you got really lucky, little brother!

Rimuru would remain in this sleep state for a few days, Meanwhile, everyone that had been named had evolved, The male Goblins became Hobgoblins and the female Goblins became Goblinas. While at the same time, The Dire Wolves had evolved into Tempest Wolves and also... I learned a new skill.

3 Days Later

Rimuru: Behold, I have recovered!

Haruna: Oh, Lord Rimuru. You're finally awake!

Rimuru became immediately confused at the more human looking Goblin.

Haruna: I'll go tell Elder Rigurd, you're awake.

As Rimuru was pondering who she was, he then heard what sounded like snoring. While, also feeling something on top of him, and looked up to see...

Rimuru: OI! JASPER, GET THE HELL OFF ME!

Jasper: "Yawn" Oh, you're finally awake huh?

Rigurd: Lord Rimuru, you've recovered!

Rimuru: Rigurd Hey! so who was that just-

But, instead of the fragile old elder. Stood a tall and hulking mound of green muscle.

Rimuru: Who the heck are you!?

Both: That's/I'm Rigurd.

Rimuru: But, weren't you like super old!?

Rigurd: Indeed, before you gave us all names!

Jasper: When someone powerful names a monster, it's raises their class-rank and can also make them Evolve which raises their existence Value. However, It's rather dangerous if a monster of a weaker species like slimes to name a monster of a species that is superior to them like Goblins. I tried to warn you earlier...

Rigurd: It is as Lord Jasper says! Thanks to you naming us, we've all evolved into superior monsters like the handsome specimen you see before you!

He's been flexing since he first got this body... then suddenly the door bursts open forcing Rigurd face first into the ground.

Ranga: Master you've recovered! Allow me to express my upmost joy that you finally recovered!

Rimuru: Wait... Judging by that star on your head, you're Ranga right?

This made Ranga very happy, to the point where he wagged his tail hard enough to spawn a miniature tornado causing Rimuru to fly in the air.

Rimuru: AHHHH! JASPER GET ME DOWN!!

Jasper: Well, you kids seem to be having fun. See ya!

Rimuru: GET BACK HERE, YOU JACKASS!!!

Later

We walked out and were instantly swarmed by the group of villagers, Rimuru while being thrown in the air took note of the many changes in the Goblins. Some like Rigurd, Rigur, and Haruna had obvious physical changes. While others, like Gobta and Gobzo change in magicule percentage. But, looked pretty much the same as before.

later, on I watched from a distance as Rimuru spoke with Ranga and his pack.

Rimuru: Hey Ranga, you're the only Dire Wolf I named. So, why did the others Dire Wolves evolve too?

Ranga: An excellent question. It's because we act as an entity, meaning that my name has also become our pacts name. 

Rimuru: So the pack evolved via a shared name?

Ranga: Correct. We are no longer the Dire Wolves, but now the Tempest Wolves.

Rimuru approved off the name, causing Ranga to once again wag his tail making Rimuru roll down and eventually rolled of a cliff.

He expected to die right then and there, but then heard the flapping of wings and something grab. He opened his "eyes" to see Jasper grinning at him and on his back were three large pairs of black feathered wings.

In this situation, Rimuru could only do one thing...

Rimuru: WHEN THE HELL DID YOU GET WINGS AND LEARN TO FLY!?

Afterwards, we gathered all the villagers into a group to discuss further about what do next, and Rimuru was trying to do a village elder impression... needless to say, no one got the idea so he gave up. We then set up three ground rules.

1: No attacking humans.

2: No infighting.

3: No looking down on others.

I was also tempted to put in a "certain" punishment for any potential betrayal we may have in the future... but, I thought it was too much at the moment.

Rimuru: Any questions?

Rigur: Why are we not allowed to attack the humans?

Rigurd: You dare question the lords!

Rimuru: Calm down, Rigurd...

Jasper: It's actually good to ask questions, since it shows your paying attention and taking this seriously.

Everyone smiled at my praise.

Rimuru: It's simple really, It's because we like Humans. That's all.

Rigur: I see, that makes sense.

Both minds: It does!?

Rimuru: Humans also typically live in large groups and if you mess with them. Then they might retaliate against us, if they were to come after us in earnest I doubt we could handle it. Plus, getting along with them will benefit us in the long run.

Jasper: However, I would like to point out we said you can't attack them. But, that doesn't apply to self defense. So if a human attacks you first, then you
