"Wait, you're what?!"

She giggled at me and said, "I'm staying here!  Aren't you excited?"

"Excited?, No. Concerned? Yes."

"Listen Rose, I know we haven't always gotten along but-" I cut her off by motioning for her to come to with me to my room.

By walking up the stairs to my room, I noticed in the corner of my eye that Leo was watching us and decided that we needed this conversation needed to be private by closing the door.

I cleared my throat and asked, "So, what brings you here, Aura?"

She sat on my bed and said. "I just thought that it would be better to see my old friends, especially you."

"Uh, why?"

Does she not remember what happened?

"Well I just thought that..." she got up and walked closer to me. "I should be able to have the chance to reconnect with someone that I truly cared for." And by her coming closer to me, she moved in towards me and kissed my lips lightly.

I pushed her off of me and said, "Aura, what is wrong with you?! Have you.." I stopped in my tracks and looked at her with a confused look. And by scanning her appearance, I noticed something different about her. Which made me slap her face and as she felt her face, I grabbed her hands and ask her, "You're not Aura, are you?!" She didn't answer me so I grabbed her shoulders and shook her up.

"Who the hell are you?!"

She suddenly started to laugh and her eyes started to turn yellow, almost like a gold color. "I should've known you weren't that stupid, Rosalind." There was only one person that knew that I hated to be called by that name.

"Wait a minute, Aurora?!"

"In the flesh, I mean..spirit. How you been, girl?"

"I'm fine, but...what are you doing here?"

"You know me, I've always been a 'free spirit' . Thought I could come by and say hi to a familiar face."

"Okay but, how did you know I was here?"

"We heard through the grapevine that you were living the life down here and I figured I'd roll over to see what was so good about this place."

"'We'?"

"Me and my friends."

"There's more of you? How? Why ? When?"

Then I asked the one thing that I regretted to ask, "Where's Aura? I mean, your sister?"

She shrugged her shoulders and said in a nonchalant tone, "I don't know. Last time I saw her was at the Green House. Then I heard she's been traveling all over and so, I started looking for her. But then eventually, I got tired and gave up trying to find her again. It's hard to find someone that you can't read. But that's my sister for you. Then eventually, one of my friends told me about this place and you know the rest, I'm sure."

"The Green House, huh?"

"Yeah. But I'm probably going to have a bit of trouble finding her now."

"Why?"

"Because, that was the last time anyone had seen her."

Why does everything happen to me?

Michael and I went to the front of the entrance to discuss some things about the Nude Bridge house.

"Father called and wanted me to ask you a favor." He asked.

"And that is?"

"He wants you to watch over Star. And give her an assignment."

"An assignment? But I haven't assigned her to anyone."

"Why not?"

"W-Well, she's not ready. Whose assignment is this for anyway?"

"It's for a human named Tevin."

"Tevin?"

"Yes."

"Well, there's going to be a problem with that."

"How so?"

"I just don't have my book with me anymore. And I just wanted to see if there was a way that I could get another one?"

"Another one?"

"Yes."

"Well, I'll see what I can do. But in the meantime, see if you can get her started. Good luck with that." And with that, he flew back to the father and went back to guarding the heavenly realm.

What good will that do ?

The club was a good thing to experience but I felt as though there was tension between the guys. Kid hasn't said one word since that awkward but good performance of mine and I am really starting to tread lightly with him. But not for too long since he has the book.

We exited out the club and Jerome and Morris said that they would see me later. They both kissed both sides of my cheeks and tried to give Kid a handshake but he didn't even bother to reach out his hands. And with that, they left the both of us alone and here we were standing in front of the club. We semi looked at each other and didn't say one word to each other until...

"You did great, up there." He said. I looked at him and gave him a response, "Thank you."

He cleared his throat and asked, "So, how long have you been singing, Starlet?"

"Not long but it's always been a dream of mine."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah but it was always just a pipe dream anyway."

"A pipe dream? That didn't sound like a pipe dream to me."

"I don't know. I just...Forget it. Anyway, what do you do?"

"I play, sing and write."

"Wow, that's good."

The awkwardness is killing me. And how come it feels this way when we're together? Maybe gotta spice it up a bit .

"So, is that your club?" I asked while pointing towards it. "Yeah." He chuckled and reached out his hand to walk me there.

Why would I ask that? Of course it is.

Glam Slam

We walked inside and saw that his place was still filled with water and everything was trashed. The look on his face seemed to be out of frustration, desperation, and even anger. I placed my hand on his shoulder and asked if he had a way to get it decorated again.

"I don't know. I just know that it can't stay like this forever." He said.

"Well, what are you going to do until then?"

He shrugged his shoulders and that alone signified that he had nothing planned. He gathered up one of the guitars and suddenly, he smashed it into pieces.

Something tells me that this will probably be a night to remember.
