She put her phone down and got ready. When she was going downstairs she saw Kai sitting on the couch with keys in his hands.
"You ready?" He asked.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
"Taking you to school?" he asked confused.
"I take the buss, i've always took the buss" She told him.

"Pick you up?"
"Yes".

The buss was at her house and she got on. She went to her usual row. Her eyes widen when she sees Vereena on the right side of the row.
"What was the reason for this betrayal?" She asked her best friend.
"Just sit next to me... for now" She smirked. She sighed knowing something was up.

"I worry sometimes" She took a seat.

Eliot Archibald got on the buss and he took a seat in their usual seat.
"Go" Vereena told her.

Claire turned to Eliot Archibald then back at Vereena.
"No" she shook her head.

"How much?" Her best friend asked her.
"20". Vereena took out the 20 Eliot Archibald gave her last night.

After Eliot Archibald walked Claire home Vereena texted him to meet at her house. She explained the plan and Eliot Archibald gave her a 20 knowing Claire would do something, and it worked .

"Pleasure doing business with you" Claire said and switched to sit next to Eliot Archibald.

"Hey" He smiled at her.
"Hey" she said back.
"How was your morning?" He asked.
"Who asks that?" she told him.
"me" he said with a cheeky smile.

"Dose your face hurt? From all that smiling?" she joked.
"No, i think they went numb you know?" he joked back and they chuckled.

"Can i, uhm, can I walk you to fourth period?" He asked turning his body toward her.
"Sure" she said simply.

He smiled at her and she quickly turned away.
"Would you stop doing that?" She asked him.
"Doing what?" He chuckled.
"Doing that thing, you know with your eyes. That whole prince charming smile. It's not going to work on me" She said.

"I don't know what your talking about" He told her.
"Don't play dumb Eliot Archibald" She said and turned to him only to see him doing the exact same smile.
"See! Your doing it! Stop it" She said frustrated.

She faces forward. Her cheeks red from getting mad at herself.
"Stupid Eliot Archibald" she mumbled.
"We're here. I'll see you in Fourth" Eliot Archibald said. Claire and Vereena walked off.

"This has to be one of the best ones you did so far" Mr. Alvarez told her as he handed her back the papers.

"So, Archibald" He joked.
"No. I'm not going to talk about it" She told him.
"He has an amazing grade in here. His papers are actually really well" He told her.
"He's so not better than me." She said with a bright smile.
"What?" he asked.
"Nothing, i should get going to my next class. I'll see you tomorrow" She said and rushed off.

"How's the book reading?" Spencer asked as he placed a card.
"I haven't read anything. Since Eliot Archibald won't stop yelling lyrics at my window" She said and placed a +2.
"Hey! I did that for at least 15 minutes and you didn't come out. That's when i texted you" Eliot Archibald said and grabbed two cards.

"When did you two exchange numbers?" Scott asked.
"I never intended too, it was Vereena who did it. I was hanging out with Kai-"
"Kai's back! When did he come back?" Spencer asked as Scott placed his card.
"Oh yeah, I forgot. You have a thing for my brother. I truly don't know what you see in him. He's... well he's Kai" She said as they continued to play cards.

"Hey, can i come over later?" Eliot Archibald asked.
"No" Claire said and placed a +4 card.
Eliot Archibald looked up to Claire with a look other than smile.  "You always say no. Sometimes i think the word 'yes' isn't in your vocabulary" He joked.

"It's not" She told him.
"What song should I sing out your window today?" He asked.
"Golden" Claire said playing along.
"Should i sing it too?"He asked.
"Just Harry Styles" She gave a quick smile at him.

"Also... I'm sorry" Claire told him.
They all stopped and stared at her. "For calling you an imbecile, not polite, and having no manners. I'm sorry. I was quick to judge" She told him.

"When did you say that?" He asked her.
"That day when you dropped my books. You went on the buss and Vereena and I were talking about you and i called you those things" she told him.
"Hey, it's okay. We didn't know each other then" He accepted her apology.
