3rd Person POV

"Thomas, you must make a decision." Mr. Anderson spoke sternly down to the cowering boy in front of him.
"Father you must understand! I'm only 12! This is a huge decision!" Thomas pleaded, looking for sympathy in his father's cold eyes.
"You are also the heir to the company. You are an Anderson son, you must be strong." Mr. Anderson wouldn't budge. What if I can't always be strong... Thomas thought to himself. He stared into his father's eyes and bowed his head in defeat.
"I will go with you, father... On one condition." Mr. Anderson raises a brow in question.
"You must let me properly say goodbye to all my friends." Thomas stood up straight and Mr. Anderson closed his eyes.
"Very well... You have tomorrow."
"Thank you, father..."

The Next Day:

"Everyone, I need to tell you all something." Thomas stood up in the middle of lunch. Everyone's attention turned to him and he took a deep breath.
"I am leaving for England tonight. I most likely won't be returning. I know our time together wasn't long, but I enjoyed everything second of it." Julian's mouth fell agape and (Y/N) stared in shock.
"Scarlett is this true?" (Y/N) turned to the younger Anderson and she nodded silently.
"Will you be going too?" Summer asked cautiously.
"No, she won't. My father wanted me to have a better education and begin to prepare for me to take over the company." The table got quiet and Julian slammed his hand on the table.
"No way I'm letting you leave so easily!" Julian grabbed Thomas by the collar and Thomas just closed his eyes and grimaced, avoiding eye contact.
"I'm afraid there isn't anything I can do about it... I truly am sorry..." Julian sat back down and glared silently.
"I would like to have one last meal with you all at The Jasmine Dragon if that is alright with all of you?" Thomas looked around hopefully. (Y/N) smiled softly and said,
"Of course we wouldn't mind. It would be our last hang out together after all..." She frowned and Julian held her hand.
"Thank you very much..."

(Y/N), Julian, Thomas, Isaac, Iroh, and Auggie all sat together in a table at The Jasmin Dragon. It was a chilly and rainy night, perfect for a sad goodbye.
"So this is it huh?" (Y/N) tried her best to smile but it was hard when she was losing one of her dearest friends.
"Promise me you'll be alright, darling?" Thomas asked the girl sitting in front of him. She quickly wiped a tear and smiled at him.
"You were always one of my best friends Tommy... We still have to get married remember?" Julian tried to crack a joke to lighten the mood but it didn't work.
"It's about time I should get going, everyone..." Thomas got up and tears began to well up in both (Y/N) and Julian's eyes. Suddenly, the tea shop door slammed open.
"You're leaving just like that...?" Chelsea was standing at the door drenched from the rain.
"Chels... you'll get sick like that..." Thomas walked up to the shivering brunette and wrapped his coat around her.
"You said you weren't going to leave again..." Chelsea hiccuped as she hugged the coat closer to her.
"I know... I'll miss you very much..." Thomas grabbed the back of her head and pulled it to his chest and hugged her tightly. Chelsea began to cry into his chest and punched him weakly.
"You're- *hiccup* making me cry i-in front of people you j-jerk..." Thomas chuckled and pulled away. Chelsea quickly turned around to hide her puffy and red face. She walked to a table and sat down. Iroh immediately brought her favorite tea and sat with her.
"T-Thank you Iroh..." She smiled weakly and Iroh nodded.
"I am so glad I came to America, or else I wouldn't have met you amazing people... I don't want to see this as a goodbye, but more as a see you later. You'll see me one day as the CEO of my father's company so we won't lose touch... I just want you all to know that you mean the world to me. I wish I had more time with you but I didn't have much of a choice. Thank you for the years we spent together Uncle Isaac. Auggie, you opened my eyes to see to new horizons and perspectives that I would have never been able to find without you... Chelsea, you have been with me since the beginning and I promise you we will have a rematch one day... Julian, I considered you to be my first real friend. I always looked up to you and I loved the way you always had something to say no matter the situation. You never failed to make me laugh and I hope you never forget me..." Thomas's eyes began to water and his voice began to crack. It broke (Y/N)'s heart to see him like this. Hell, to see anyone on the verge of tears like that.
"(Y/N)... you are an amazing, talented, and beautiful girl. You have changed my life forever and I will never forget you... You meant to world to me and I hope one day we can reunite... I-I never had the courage to say this but- I think... I think I'm in love with you." (Y/N)'s eyes widened like saucers and many thoughts raced through Julian's mind. Chelsea smiled and sniffled shaking her head. Isaac looked down and Iroh turned to Chelsea.
"I knew it... he always saves the confessions for last huh?" She chuckled to herself.
"I was rooting for you, you know..." He whispered to Chelsea who was clutching the coat around her softly.
"He really likes her, and I have to accept that..."
(Y/N) was still trying to process what had just happened. Thomas likes... me? But- I- Julian and I- Oh god- She panicked thinking about everything.
"I love the way you smile and the when you're eyes light up when you talk about something you're passionate about... You're a hard worker and you light up every room you walk in... I just needed you to know that before I leave... I know you don't return the feelings but that's completely fine. I walked into this knowing that. No need to worry about hurting my feelings. I am just glad to have met you in the first place skateboard girl..." Thomas gave one last closed-eyed smiled and turned around.
(Y/N) began to cry out of both confusion and sadness.
"How touching." Mr. Anderson stood at the door with his arms crossed.
"Father! I was just about to leave!" Thomas quickly picked up his things and hurried to the door.
"The deal is off. Not only will you have to move back to England, but I will also not allow you to return..." Mr. Anderson smiled menacingly and Thomas got on his knees.
"Father we had a deal! I go and I get to visit once a year! Why must you do this to me!" Thomas looked back towards (Y/N) and saw the horrified look on her face. Thomas's eyes darkened and his expression fell.
"You know what father? I refuse." He stood up and glared right into his father's eyes.
"Say what now?" Mr. Anderson glared back trying to intimidate Thomas.
"I won't let you control my life anymore! I am not you! I will never be you! I am Thomas Anderson and I will live my own life! Just like how Mother would have wanted me to! Nothing you can say or do will stop me!" Thomas spoke his words clear and laced with venom and his father stepped back in shock. Mr. Anderson's shocked face quickly turned into a grin.
"My son, you have passed the test!" Thomas looked at his father in confusion.
"What are you talking about...?" Thomas asked blankly.
"You had a problem, Tom. You would always listen to what I said regardless of whether it was right or wrong. I needed to do something so you could finally find your voice and stand up for yourself." Thomas dropped to his knees and smiled. Mr. Anderson got on his knees as well wrappings his arms around Thomas.
"I am so sorry my son..." Thomas hugged his father and whispered,
"No need to be sorry father..." Iroh immediately burst into tears.
"It reminds me of when Zuko would be so stubborn!" Iroh sobbed dramatically and Chelsea patted his back lightly. Thomas stood back up and his eyes locked with (Y/N)'s.
"I meant every word I said (Y/N). I really do like you... it'll take some time but, I'm sure we can work this whole thing out." Julian walked up to Thomas with his hair covering his eyes.
"Julian... I know you probably hate me and-" Thomas stopped in his tracks as he felt Julian wrap his arms around him.
"I really thought I was gonna lose you..." Julian whispered.
"You're my best friend... and I like your girlfriend... According to the articles I read, you should hate me right now..." Thomas pondered.
"Don't believe everything you see on the internet stupid." Thomas chuckled and pat Julian's back.
"Thank you." Thomas and Julian sat down and began to speak to Isaac and (Y/N). No one else but (Y/N) and Thomas noticed Chelsea leave Thomas's coat on her seat and walk out. Thomas upon seeing her leave, followed her and grabbed his coat.
"Chelsea darling, it's getting late let me walk you home." Thomas put his coat around her again and Chelsea just flinched in return.
"No... I'll be fine... Thank you though..." She smiled weakly and proceeded to walk away.
"Chelsea... Are you sure you'll be alright?" Thomas asked worried about his girl-best friends health.
"Yeah don't worry about me..."
"Chelsea I know you. Something is wrong." He grabbed her shoulder firmly and she turned around quickly.
"Nothing is wrong! I just saw my crush of two years confess to one of my friends! Of course, I'm not okay..." Thomas's expression fell as he realized what had happened.
"You like me...?" Thomas questioned. Chelsea nodded slowly.
"No...! I love you... Don't think to much about it... Anyway, goodnight..." Chelsea walked away before Thomas could say anything.
"You can't walk home alone Chels!"
"Someone's picking me up!" Thomas looked down and took a seat in the rain.
"So much had happened in the span of one day... I'm exhausted..."

Boy was this chapter a hand full! I got a lil carried away with the feels so sorry about that :( Anyway I hope everyone doesn't get sick of Thomas or Chelsea because I really enjoy writing their characters. Anyway, have a great day/night!
