Okay, so this is going to be a rant about Wattpad, ironically, it will be posted on Wattpad.

This is going to be a long rant probably, so stick around.

First of all, the grammar that people use is appalling. Like, when did humans come together and decide, "Right, let's right the most dhit grammar we can to annoy people." No, grammar was made for a reason, it was to make English simple. Say I was an Arabic person trying to learn English. I would learn the actual grammar, and all these stories with dhit spelling and dhit grammar would confuse me majorly.

Imagine this in the language you're learning, imagine learning all that stuff for nothing, because some idiots can't understand their own language. I can't fathom what it would be like for someone to not understand their own language, let alone any others.

Then there is the stuff that we read that drives me insane, this is what I hate the most.

Look at the top books read on Wattpad, most of them aren't sci-fi, or fantasy, or horror, or any other genre. These books are not any genre, they are books that just sell sex to generate reads. Let's look at one of the most viral books, "The Bad Boy Stole My Bra." It has 60 million reads. Wtf! How can you create an actual plot line based on this? Does this person even know how to write a book.
Compare it to another good book on Wattpad that actually has an interesting plot line, the best of these books will be about 500K reads.

You can even see the first five books on the viral list, four of them display a man and a woman doing 'something' (keeping this family friendly guys). These books have millions of hits, and they display things you wouldn't want in a book, like:
Really huge gender stereotypes
Perfectly beautiful characters.

Seriously, look up how many books have the words 'Bad Boy' in them to see the stereotypes, and then look at the rest of the title, it will usually involve the bad boy trying to make a sexual advancement on the female character, and you can see on the cover of any of these books the character's image on the cover is beautiful.

And the thing that pisses me off more, the character's characteristics. The bad boy will always be dumb, rebellious and hot, while the girl will be pretty, smart and conformist. Not all boys are dumb, not all girls are smart, believe me when I say this.

And then there are actual authors like us, who write good books. Shoutout to fluffybird123 who actually finishes some very good books. But we hardly get any views, while these dhitty stories keep dominating the charts. Not that it's all about views, but, we should be getting more than these stories I've mentioned.

By the way, these 'The Bad Boy Bla Bla Bla' stories, always have the same plot line, HOW MANY OF THESE STORIES CAN BE POPULAR, seriously, are ten year old girls getting mindlessly sucked in to read the same book, over and over again.
