Just a few hours before the day was about to end, the bell rang. Jina frowned and checked the clock. Who could it be this late? She peered through the window, and relief filled in as she noticed the shadow of the person in front of the door.

"Jungkook?" She whispered as she opened the door. He was a lot taller than she was, and she had to crane her neck up to get a good view of him. He was in his baggy clothes and grinned at her.

"Hi," he said cheekily and showed her what he had bought. "I baked us some cake today. Would you like to have some?" He asked, looking expectantly at her. How could she say no to him?

"I would love to," she said and invited him in. Jina remembered that she didn't tell Luna she had met up with Jungkook many times. "Oh, he's just a good-looking neighbor," she remembered telling her on the phone on the day Jungkook moved in.

Jina gulped nervously. Surely, Luna does not have any supernatural powers to appear in her house at that moment. 'Or maybe she does?' she wondered. She shrugged off the unwanted thought.

Oh, and she would never dare tell her he was the one who offered her a ride that morning and not Jin. There would not be a day without being mocked if she slipped that out to Luna.

"Are you busy?" Jungkook asked as he looked at her. "No, not really. I was about to cook, but I'm glad you showed up," Jina replied. Jungkook's cheeks turned scarlet and he looked pleased with himself. "Y-yeah."

Jina invited him in, and both of them sat on the couch and started to talk right away. ' Talking with him isn't as hard as I expected it to be,' she thought.

"The meeting went well," Jungkook said as his lips curled. "I'm honored to be working with your company."

"Thank you, Jungkook. I appreciate it," Jina said as she took a bite out of the cake he had bought. "We worked hard as well," she said.

"The cake tastes amazing; you are an amazing cook," Jina complimented as she took another piece in her hand. "It's the least I could do," he replied with a smile.

He continued gazing at her. For some reason, he couldn't take his eyes off her. Jina looked at him and realized he wore short sleeves, and her eyes immediately fell on the tattoo-covered arm. She stared at his little details—his moles, his bracelet, and the colors he had added to his tattoos.

"Your tattoos are so pretty," she said. Jungkook blushed and bowed down slightly. "Thank you; it took me months to get them done," he said.

The house became silent, and Jina grew flustered and turned on the television. She pretended to focus on it but noticed how Jungkook stared at her through the reflection on the TV screen.

He noticed her and chuckled. His deep voice reached her ears like a melody. "I couldn't keep my eyes off you," he admitted openly. "I should get going," he said as he stood up.

Jungkook stared at her for a second and then walked toward the door. Jina ran behind him and said, "Wait for me."

Why does he keep staring at me?

"I'm coming!" she yelled as she followed him.

When Jungkook was near the door and looked behind him, he was surprised to see Jina trip on a shoe and watched as her eyes widened for a brief moment. In no time, she had knocked him off balance, and both of them fell to the floor with a loud thud.

"J-Jina?" He whispered, his voice shaking. He felt something fall on top of him. It was Jina. Her body was on his, and there was no space between them.

Jina could even hear his heartbeat.

Her face was close to his, and she could feel his hot breath on her collar. She gulped and tried to get up but fell on him again. Just when things couldn't get any worse, the door opened.

"Jina, guess who is here?" The person stopped midway. Jina strained her neck and looked up to see who it was.

"L-luna?" she whispered as her eyes widened.
