Beep, beep, beep.

I slowly began to open up my eyes, once I did, I saw my mother there tearing up. Seems she was all wrapped up in bandages where that bastard had hurt her.

"My baby!" My mother would then hug me lightly, she seemed happy to see I had awoken. Though I soon looked around at the white room.

"M...Mom. Wh...Where are we...?" I struggled to speak, though I remained on the bed. My mom would let go of me and just tried to compose herself.

"We're at the hospital honey... You've been out for nearly 3 weeks. You and the boys were excused from your finals for this week." My mother spoke in a weak, yet relieved tone.

"Wait... What happened to them!?" I quickly stood up from my bed, though everything had hurt. It seems my heart rate went up as well, since the machine had began to beep faster. The doctors and nurses would soon come in quickly after, surprised that I had woken up.

"She's actually awake.." A male doctor had said, it seemed they had thought the worst were to happen to me. "It's a miracle. After that bullet hit you, we thought you weren't going to make it or at the very least stay in a long term coma."

I felt my stomach drop, that was rather blunt to say. I don't think anyone wants to ever hear such frightening things. Soon I turned over to my mother in a worried expression. "What happened to Takumi and Tadashi..."

"They recieved many bruises, but have been treated for them. Do not worry, they've been awake... They'll be glad to hear that you're awake now." My mother said as she softly caressed my head. She didn't seem to be lying, I was so relieved to hear that they were okay.

The doctor would soon ask my mom to step out, in order to discuss something. I'm not worried as to how this whole thing would cost, I just hope they don't involve my father again. Though I still wonder how he was contacted, there must be something I'm missing.

After a while I had heard the door opened again. I looked over to see if my mother had come back, only to find Usui walking in using crutches in order to walk. He seemed rather stunned to see me awake. He had even struggled to walk over to me.

"(Y/N)..." Usui would then place a crutch down and hugged me with one hand. I was confused a bit, but then I soon heard him sniffling and I felt the hospital gown getting wet. "I...I thought I'd lost you..." His voice was shaky, it was easily noticable that he was frightened. "You... You wreckless idiot..."

"Heh... I'm sorry for worrying you.." I had just chuckled and soon placed a hand over his head. Softly caressing his hair as he had seemed to cry. This was the first I had ever seen the famous Takumi Usui cry. I'm not sure what even happened as soon as I blacked out. Though I'm sure I'll find out soon.

"Oh.. Sorry to interrupt." A police officer came in along with Tadashi. Who also seemed to be rather happy that I had been alright. "We have to ask you all questions of the events that occured. If you guys don't mind at all."

"Wait.. Did you guys arrest my father!?" I had seemed to be rather excited for it, but the officers silence had said it all. My father was still out there and I felt my heart drop.

"Don't worry. We caught one of his accomplises. He's been brought in for questioning, though he refused to talk. So we're waiting for a specialize agent to come question them."  The officer said as soon as he took out a notepad and a pen. Opening it up and it seemed he had his questions ready for us.

I looked over at Usui who had now calmed down a bit, though his nose was still red and sniffling. He did not let go of my hand either, though not like I had much strength to pull away anyways.
Then I looked over at Tadashi, who would smile and nod. "Alright then... Shouldn't my mom be here as well?"

"We questioned her before. However she doesn't seem to know what happened inside. Which is what we would like to know."

"I see.. Well... I was heading home with Tadashi... and then I heard my mother screaming.." I would soon explain what had happened between me and my dad. How we were swinging at each other for a while, just speaking about it made my blood boil. "All I remember is punching him one last time, then I blacked out.."

"That's when I saw his accomplises had beaten up Tadashi unconsious and saw one pull out their gun. I tried covering it for her, but I was too late.." Usui spoke as his hands quivered, it seemed that for him. The thought of me having died during that would be too much. Soon Tadashi would go over to Usui and pat his back and Usui let it happen. Just what happened while I was asleep.

"I barely saw them leave. Though we only saw two at first, I can only assume that the other one had been upstairs. Clearly searching for something." Tadashi had added as he looked over at the officer. The officer would only nod and write down everything that we had told them.

"Well. We got a picture of your father. So we know well how he looks and wanted posters are around the district. Hopefully we can find him and end your family's nightmare." The officer said as he seemed to finish writing down on his notepad, soon putting it away in his pockets. "Then. That will be all for now. If you ever meet with that man again, make sure to contact us right away. I wish you all a quick recovery, if you'll excuse me." He would bow his head and walked out of the room.

A nurse soon came in with some medicine for us all. "Well. I think it's about time you all to have your meals, some medicine and rest more."

The boys would soon nod and began to head out of the room. My mother would come back and helped me take my medicine as well as feeding me. I honestly hate taking medicine though, I often felt like it would get stuck in my throat or something.
I couldn't help but begin to worry on how the whole school would probably know about the whole situation about my father. How can I even dare face them at school now, I can already vision them saying such horrible things. However I had soon drifted off into a deep slumber once again. Hopefully this could help me get rid of such bad thoughts.
