I was walking home from another day of working at Maid Latté. However lately everyday I felt as if I was being followed after work. It started getting dark lately since it was near winter.

"Maybe I should tell Misaki.. No she already has too much to deal with in her family too.." I sighed. It was getting me quite anxious lately, though I wasn't quite sure what to do about it. Since I had no proof and they hadn't done anything to do. At one point I had decided to go into a newly opened 24 hour mini market.

"Hello! Welcome." The person at the front desk said as they turned around to see me. "(Y/N)?"

"Oh, I didn't know you worked here Tadashi." I said with a smile as I looked at him.

"Yeah, well I recently got hired. I need the extra cash, it's hard being a university student." Tadashi said as he scratched the back of his head. "How come you're out so late?"

"Actually.. I just got out of work." I chuckled slightly hoping he didn't ask what where I had worked and quickly went over to get something to snack on. The store was rather empty, it was nearly 10, around this time many remain home.

"Hey, my shift is about to end! Want me to walk you home?" He asked with a smile on his face.

"....I'd like that." I said as I returned the smile. A small pink blush seemed to appear upon Tadashi's cheeks as he saw me smile.

"Alright, just wait for a bit then. Snacks are on me!" His smiled remained, I just giggled at him. He could indeed be rather cute at times.

I nodded and went over to a sitting area inside the convenience store. I felt at ease once Tadashi had asked me such question, for some reason I felt as if he knew I felt uneasy when I came into the store. After 15 minutes passed Tadashi walked out of the 'employees only' room with his jacket on, walking towards me afterwards. We both left the convenience store after and it was more calming indeed. Though at one point I caught a glimpse of a shadow following behind us.

"You okay?" Tadashi asked me with a concerned facial expression.

"O-Oh! Yeah. I'm fine." I just smiled and we continued to walk.

Soon we had made it in front of my house, where the front door was opened and we heard my mother scream. Tadashi and I quickly ran inside, finding my mother in a corner and my father, along with a random guy trashing around our house.

"Where is my money!" My father said as he threw down a shelf. My mother trembling at the sight, she seemed to have bruises as well.

"You bastard!" I exclaimed as I clentched my fists. I was furious, he dared barge into my house and is harming my mother.

"Great. Now that scum of a daughter is home." My father said as he rolled his eyes.

"Tadashi. Get my mother out of here." I said in a furious tone as he quickly did as I said. Taking my moher out of the house. I quickly get the broom nearby and I charged at my father. Where he had blocked it with his arms.

"You bitch. You dare stand up to your own father?! After all I've done for you?!" My father exclaimed as he quickly pushed me away. Swinging at me using his bare fists.

"You've done nothing but brought pain to me and my mother!" I struck him quickly and forcefully. The broom ended up breaking in two.

Soon we were both at it. He swung me and struck me down onto the kitchen table, breaking it. I got up, wiping away the blood from the lip and struck him again. I could hear my mother crying out to me. While me and my father were going at each other.

[Usui's POV]

I was currently on my way to see (Y/N). I wanted to ask her to the winter dance, though for once. I didn't know how to go at it. Though soon as I walked I saw police cars and ambulances turning to the direction (Y/N) house was.
I had a bad feeling and ran towards a short cut to her house. Soon I had arrived to seeing, Tadashi holding back (Y/N)'s mother, who was all bruised. I ran up to him with a concerned tone.

"It's (Y/N)! Her father came and harrassed her mother! Stay here, I'll go check on her!" Tadashi said as he was about to walk in. But I stopped him.

"No. I'll go. You stay here."

"Both of you go! My (Y/N).... she needs help!!" Her mother cried out in tears. She was clearly put through so much.

SLAM

We both turned over to the house and ran quickly inside. Only to find that (Y/N) had currently been thrown onto the kitchen table by her father. Suddenly there was another male who we saw had tried to aim a gun point at (Y/N), then Tadashi had quickly moved up his hand and the male shot up into the ceiling.

(Y/N) and her father kept going at it. Tadashi had been with the other male. I went to go help (Y/N) apprehend her father, since the sirens were finally getting near. We were finally able to get her father held down onto the floor. I had barely caught a glimpse of two males standing in front of a Tadashi that had been currently knocked out, with one of them turning over aiming their gun towards me and (Y/N).

"(Y/N)! Run!" I let go of her bastard father and attempted to run over to her. I need to protect her, no matter what.
