When we arrive at the Eden club, Hank is already complaining something along the lines of ' feels like someones playing with a drill inside my skull,' and 'are you sure this is the place?' to which Connor assured him it is. When we entered, I started to scan the androids, and found that they were WR400 models, specifically designed for places like this. With a look of slight disgust on my face, my concentration was broken by Hank shouting at me to stop ogling. I quickly walked over to Hank and Connor, to which Officer Collins showed him the room in which the dead body is in, also saying the Detective Reed was in there as well. While Hank was complaining he headed towards the room. The door opened, revealing a broken Traci android, alongside Detective Reed and Chris. "Lieutenant Anderson and his plastic posse. The fuck are you three doin' here?"

"We've been assigned all cases involving androids." Connor said.

"Oh yeah? Well, you're wasting your time. Just some pervert who, uh, got more action than he could handle." Reed chuckled. Hank said that we would have a look anyway. Gavin left, but not before he checked Connor in the shoulder. Connor walked over to the android, investigating, while I analyzed the victim.

🔓 [◻] RECONSTRUCT

After the reconstruction, I learned that the man had been strangled. "He didn't die of a heart attack.. He was strangled." I stated

"Yeah, I saw the bruising on the neck." Hank replied, rifling through the items on the counters. "Doesn't prove anything though, could've been rough play."

"Connor, do you think you can read its memory? We might find something in there." Connor thought about it for a second, then after a short pause, Connor spoke up.

"The only way to read its memory is to reactivate it."

"Think you can do it?" Hank asked.

"I can try, but it's badly damaged... If I can, it'll only be for a minute, maybe less." Connor paused, pushing in the stomach of the android. "I just hope it's long enough to learn something." When the Traci was reactivated, it rushed against the wall, taking short panicked breaths. "You were damaged and I reactivated you, everything is alright." Connor soothed

"Is he..." the Traci began, "Is he dead?"

"Tell me what happened." Connor pushed.

"He started... hitting me... Again and again. I begged him to stop but he wouldn't."

"Did you kill him?" Connor asked,

"No, it wasn't me... "

"Were you alone in the room? Was there anyone else with you?" Connor rushed.

"He wanted to play with two girls.."

"What model was it? Did it look like you!?" Connor shouted, but it was too late, the Traci was already gone. I had an unpleasant feeling in my stomach. My diagnostic program showed no problems. Why am I acting like this?

SOFTWARE INSTABILITY ^^

"So, there was another android.." Hank said, "this happened over an hour ago, it's probably long gone..."

"No, It couldn't go outside dressed like that unnoticed." I said, waving my hand in the direction of the Traci. "It might still be here."

"Think you can find a deviant among all the other androids in this place?" That's when Connor stood up.

"Deviants aren't easily detected." Connor stated.

"There's got to be some other way." Hank said, thinking. "Maybe an eye witness, somebody who saw it leave the room? Anyways, I'm going to go ask the manager a few questions about what he saw. You let me know if you think of anything." Hank said over his shoulder.

As Connor and I left the room, an idea popped into my head. "Connor, if we ask Hank to rent one of these Traci's, can you access its memory?"

"That's a good idea, wait here, I'll be right back."

While Connor was busy with Hank, the Traci in the box was waving at me, and was striking some poses. A warmth in my cheeks was present, and I quickly hid my blush when Hank and Connor arrived.

SOFTWARE INSTABILITY ^

When Hank went to rent the Traci, he grumbled "This is not gonna look good on my expense account." As soon as the Traci stepped out, Connor was quick to grab its arm and probe its memories.

Not long after, Connor spoke up "It saw something.. The deviant leave the room. A blue-haired Traci. Club policy is to wipe the android's memory after 2 hours. We only have a few minutes if we wanna find another witness!" Traci after Traci, we came across a maintenance android. After we scanned its memory, we found the blue haired Traci entered the staff room. When we got to the door leading into the garage, Hank pushed Connor and I behind him and pulled out his gun.

When Hank walked down the stairs, he lowered his gun. "Shit. we're too late" when Connor was Investigating one of the rows of androids, I heard a loud crash. Running over to where Connor is, a Traci straddling Connor, throwing fists. Before I can do anything to stop it, I get thrown to the floor by the blue-haired Traci. It tries to swipe at me with a screwdriver, but I push the Traci away. When it stands and swings its leg at me, I'm able to duck out of the way and deliver a blow to the stomach. The Traci then picks me up and tosses me on a table before attempting to pull my thirium pump out. Before it can finish, however, it looks worried, before it runs up to the other Traci, who Connor has brought outside, and helps it up, holding hands.

When Hank tries to stop them from running away, he gets thrown towards a crate by both of them. The Traci's make a dash for the fence, but Connor is able to pull them down before they can get up. The brown-haired Traci starts to swing a metal bar at him. When the blue haired Traci then gets back to Connor, they both try to slam Connors head into the wall. After some struggle Connor manages to get his hand on a gun. When he aims at the Traci's I feel weird..

Software Instability ^^

A red wall in front of me shows my current objective: Stop the Traci's

Stop the Traci's

Stop the Traci's

Stop the Traci's

Something in me is telling me to break the walls. I try break the walls, punching, kicking, ANYTHING and when the last wall falls... I feel free.

I AM DEVIANT

Before Connor can shoot the gun I rush to step in front of the Traci's. It was too late to not fire the gun, but at least none of the Traci's were killed. Hank looks at me and before he or I can do anything the blue-haired Traci spoke up. "When that man broke the other Traci, I knew I was next." she said, her LED swirling yellow. "I was so scared. I begged him to stop but he wouldn't. And so I put my hands around his throat...and I squeezed, until he stopped moving. I didn't mean to kill him." she continued "I just wanted to stay alive, to get back to the one I love." the brown haired Traci came up behind her and grabbed her hand. "Get back to the one I love." They looked at each other, "I wanted her to hold me in her arms again, and make me forget about the humans, their smell of sweat and their dirty words."

The brown haired Traci called for them to leave.

I looked at Connor, then at Hank, and followed the Traci's.

HANK ^^ Friend

The Traci's looked at me. I spoke "I know of a place where we can be free. I know you have no reason to trust me, but I hope you can at least hear me out, for your sake." They spoke between each other before they nodded. Great. I learned about the android safe haven when I was sent on my first mission. the android was holding an anti android protester hostage when they gave me the key. I was confused at first, but now I understand what they gave me. It was a key to the safe haven, to Jericho. First, I took off my jacket. The jacket had my model name, so I would look quite suspicious. After that, we set off to find Jericho.

(A/N: Yay! chapter four is out and ready to go! Hope this one made up for the lack of chapter last chapter. I might get chapter five out today, so until then, I'll see you later!)
