Oh, what do I do. What do I do!

Today was Sunday, which meant I had to see everyone tomorrow! But, I want to be better, even be helpful! But no one would believe me.

I scanned through my contacts and spotted Dupain-Cheng's contact.

As much as I'd love to ask for her help, she'd think I was tricking her. Though I wouldn't blame her, I never gave her a chance at friendship.

I scrolled again through my contact list and I immediately knew who'd help me.

I pressed the call button and put my phone to my ear.

😶‍🌫️"Hello?"

👝"Hi, um Y/n, I know you probably won't believe me but I need your help."

😶‍🌫️"Help with what exactly?"

👝"I wanna be better than I was, I just followed in my mother's footsteps cause I thought she would finally see me, really see me."

There was silence for a couple seconds, but then she spoke again.

😶‍🌫️"And you need my help with what involving you wanting to change?"

👝"Oh, thank you, Y/n! I'm so glad you believed me."

😶‍🌫️"Yeah, I don't think anyone else in class would of, but that's okay, you'll have me to help you. I'll be at the Grand Paris Luxury Hotel in a couple minutes."

👝"Alright, see you."

😶‍🌫️"See ya, Chloe."

I hung the phone and ran down to the lobby to wait for her.

After a couple minutes, I saw Y/n riding a bike along the sidewalk.

She stopped at the sidewalk infront of the sliding doors and parked her bike along the wall of the hotel.

👝"Doorman, could you make sure no one steals Y/n's bike? It would be much appreciated."

The doorman looked surprised at Chloe's request, instead of her demanding he do something.

🧑‍✈️"Of course, Ms. Bourgeois."

Chloe grabbed my hand and she led me to her room in the hotel.

😶‍🌫️"Okay, so what exactly do you need?"

👝"I was wondering if you could help me make amends with everyone and maybe help change my look too."

😶‍🌫️"Why change your look?"

👝"Cause, I thought that if I wore expensive clothing, my mother would notice me."

😶‍🌫️"Okay, that seems easy enough. First, let's start with your outfit."

👝"Okay, what did you have in mind?"

I grabbed Chloe's hand and we went shopping.

I found some clothing that was mildly expensive but had a more comfortable feel to it.

Chloe also picked out a necklace and got some custom jewels in it.

😶‍🌫️"So, what do you think?"

Chloe looked in the full body mirror and spun around to see it from all angles.

👝"I love it! It so much more comfortable!"

😶‍🌫️"By the way, why'd ya get the necklace?"

👝"One of the heroes helped me move on from trying to get my mother to pay attention to me so I figured I'd get something to represent them."

She took of the necklace and showed me the jewels in it and who the jewels represented.

(Also pretend Carapace and Viperion aren't there, the colors have no meaning for now)

😶‍🌫️"How come Frostine is in the middle?"

👝"Cause she gave me a chance when the others wouldn't, minus you. Plus, shes saved me twice now."

😶‍🌫️"Well, do you wanna hangout for awhile? I don't have anything else to do today."

👝"I'd love to! But what do you want to do?"

😶‍🌫️"Have you played online games or card games before?"

👝"No, could you teach me?"

😶‍🌫️"I'd be happy to."

For an hour, me and Chloe played Rummy and she was a natural at it.

I later asked Chloe to grab my bag so I could see my phone. She reached for my bag and saw something.

She pulled it out and it was my Tarot card deck.

👝"What's this? Another card game?"

She gave me the cards and I explained what they were.

😶‍🌫️"These are Tarot cards, they can be used to get information of what did, what has, and what will happen, depending on what you want to know."

👝"Oh, how cool."

😶‍🌫️"Do you want a reading?"

👝"A what?"

😶‍🌫️"A reading is a way to gain insight on the past, present and future."

👝"Oh, well okay. What do I need to do?"

😶‍🌫️"Just tell me what kind of reading you want to do. There's General, Love & Relationships, Money & Career, Health, and Spiritually."

👝" Um, Love & Relationships."

I shuffled the cards three times and pick the first three cards and put them down, past was first, present was second, and future was third.

I flipped the first card over. (I actually did a reading with Chloe and Love & Relationship in mind, so this is what I drew)

👝"How do you know what the cards mean?"

😶‍🌫️"By using a helpful website."

I pulled out my phone and went to the website.

😶‍🌫️"The Four of Wands card reversed represents unhappy family life, failure, instability, insecurity, neglect and being uprooted so your relationship may be going through a tough or an unpredictable time."

Chloe looked down in amazement and sadness. I grabbed and held her.

😶‍🌫️"It's okay, it represents the past. Do you wanna see the present?"

She intently stared at the card and nodded.

I flipped the second card over.

😶‍🌫️"The Queen of Pentacles card represents feeling confident and secure. If you are single, the Queen of Pentacles indicates that you can afford to be very selective when choosing a partner."

Chloe looked up at me with a blush on her face.

She looked down, but then her face grew sad.

👝"Do you think I should give up on Adrien?"

😶‍🌫️"What do you mean?"

👝"Well, the card says I can afford to be very selective but I've been trying for far too long to be with Adrien. Plus, I think all my clingyness has made him uncomfortable."

😶‍🌫️"Well, it's your decision, Chloe. I ain't the answer, only you can give the answer."

👝"Alright, continue please."

I flipped the third and last card over.

😶‍🌫️"The Judgement card reversed represents that you are avoiding making a decision about the relationship because of self-doubt. Chloe nodded her head, and she looked at the clock hanging on a wall in her room.

👝"Oh! It's 5:30, you should go home, we have school tomorrow."

😶‍🌫️"Good idea."

I collected my stuff and was ready to leave, not before I walked back and hugged Chloe.

😶‍🌫️"You can always confide in me, whenever you need Chloe."

She hugged back and clung onto me for awhile.

When she let go, she looked happier than she ever pretended to be.
