Today, Chloe was coming to school as a new person.

I don't think even Sabrina knew what was going on with her bestie.

And suddenly, everything grew quiet as footsteps approached the door.

Everyone was shell-shocked as Chloe walked in.

I got up and walked over to Chloe, giving her a hug.

Once we finished hugging, she stood up in front of Mrs. Bustier's desk, while I stood next to her.

👝"Hi, everyone..."

She bowed, with a look of regret on her face.

👝"I wish to apologize for how I acted, it was childish and unbecoming of me. I don't ask for your guy's forgiveness."

Silence took over the room, no one spoke a word.

I did notice that Marinette was staring intently at Chloe, for reasons I don't understand.

But after a minute, Mari got up and walked towards Chloe.

I was prepared to defend Chloe just in case Mari was gonna yell at Chloe or something.

Mari stood in front of Chloe and I could see Chloe stare at the ground in worry of what Mari would do or say.

Mari turned her head to me.

🌸"Is this true?"

😶‍🌫️"It's true, and I have pictures for proof too, if you need it."

Mari turned her head back to Chloe.

🌸"If Y/n is vouching for you, then I'll trust what you say, Chloe. But it may take sometime to gain trust."

Chloe looked up with a smile on her face and tears well up in her eyes as she hugged Mari.

👝"Thank you for at least giving me a chance."

After that, Mari tried her best all day to warm up to the new Chloe. This was very strange for Mari considering how long she's known Chloe.

Sabrina could barely comprehend what was going on too, but she was willing to get along with Chloe.

Adrien looked happy for Chloe, and Chloe refrained herself from invading Adrien's space.

The week passed by in the blink of an eye. Soon, it was after school on Thursday and Chloe was texting me to meet her at her room again.

I went in and greeted everyone and then I knocked on Chloe's door.

👝"Y/n! Thank goodness you're here, come in."

I walked in and noticed Chloe added some stuff to her room. Like posters, and different stuffed animals on her bed.

😶‍🌫️"Wow, I like what you did with your room."

👝"Oh, thanks! Anyway, I need your help again."

😶‍🌫️"Sure, what do you need?"

👝"On Saturday, I want to host a party here. To get to know everyone a little better and with all the testing tomorrow I think everyone would like it."

😶‍🌫️"That sounds like a good idea."

👝"Yeah, but I don't know what a party needs. And I want to contribute to making this party by doing something, besides making the servant's take care of it."

For the rest of the evening, we looked up online and got the supplies we'd need, but we asked Chloe's dad beforehand and we got his permission.

The next day, in the morning, me and Chloe passed out invitations to everyone in our school.

📱"Wow, Chloe's really trying, maybe we should give her a chance."

🌸"I'm still skeptical but I did say I'd give her a chance."

I smiled, it was nice that Mari and Alya we're willing to give Chloe a chance.

After the first three classes, I sat down and ate lunch with Felix. I slid an invitation to him.

🇬🇧"Are you for real?"

😶‍🌫️"Yes, she is trying to be better, plus she asked for my help."

Felix stared at me, probably trying to see if I was joking or not.

🇬🇧"I'll take your word for it."

😶‍🌫️"Also, how's the gaming going?"

🇬🇧"Good I guess. How about you? How's it helping Dupain-Cheng?"

😶‍🌫️"Oh, just peachy! She's a train wreck but she's manageable."

Felix laughed, and it felt like time stopped, but I had no idea why. He then took a bite of his sandwich.

😶‍🌫️"So, are you gonna tag along?"

Felix looked up to see Marinette, Alya, Adrien, Nino and Chloe eating and talking amongst each other.

I put my hand on my cheek and leaned my elbow on the table with my other arm on the table, smiling at the others.

🇬🇧"Well, she does seem to be more mature and, surprisingly enough, bearable."

He turned to look at me and rested a hand on my hand.

I looked down at our hands and then looked up to his face, and he had an endearing smile.

🇬🇧"You really do bring the best out of people, don't you?"

I felt like I couldn't speak, so I smiled.

Once lunch ended, the rest of the day sped by. Pretty much everyone was dead tired from the testing.

Everyone begrudgingly got home and rested for the day ahead.
