In my room, I paced back and forth, frustration bubbling inside me. Kurogiri may have whisked me away from the chaos at U.S.J., but I wasn't about to just sit around and do nothing. I needed to get back there, to make sure Shigaraki didn't turn this whole situation into a complete disaster.

But I was on my own, and there wasn't much I could do from here. Then an idea struck me. If I couldn't be there physically, I could at least make sure I had more control over what happened next. I grabbed my phone and dialed Nezu's number.

Nezu: Midoriya-kun, to what do I owe the pleasure of this call?

Me: Nezu, let's cut to the chase. U.A. is a fine institution, but it's clear that you might need a little... extra financial backing to keep things running smoothly. How about this: I'm prepared to sponsor U.A., or better yet, just buy the whole thing.

There was a brief pause before Nezu responded, his voice as calm and composed as ever.

Nezu: Sponsorship, you say? Well, U.A. is always open to contributions from patrons who wish to support the future of heroism. But purchasing the school outright? I'm afraid that's quite out of the question, Midoriya-kun.

Me: Out of the question? Nezu, you and I both know that money talks. And right now, I'm willing to offer enough to buy U.A. ten times over. Think about it—no more worrying about budget cuts or funding approvals. I could streamline the whole system, make sure the best of the best are getting what they need.

Nezu: While your offer is... intriguing, U.A. isn't just a business, Midoriya-kun. It's an institution, a symbol of heroism and education. Sponsorship is one thing, but ownership? That would change the very essence of what we stand for.

Me: Change it? Nezu, I'd be improving it. You'd have the funds to build whatever you want, hire whoever you need. Hell, we could even expand the curriculum, add new facilities. Imagine what you could do with that kind of money.

Nezu: A tempting proposal, indeed. However, the value of U.A. isn't solely in its physical resources or its facilities. It's in its principles, its legacy. That's something money can't buy, Midoriya-kun.

Me: Legacy? Legacy is built on success, and success needs funding. I'm offering you the chance to ensure U.A. remains at the top—no, to make sure U.A. becomes something even greater. We could revolutionize hero education.

Nezu: Revolution, perhaps, but at what cost? The school's autonomy, its independence? Those are not things I'm willing to sacrifice, not even for all the money in the world.

Me: Alright, fine. How much then? How much would it take for me to sponsor the school and have a say in how things are run? Let's stop dancing around this and talk numbers.

Nezu: Sponsorship is always welcome, but having a say in the operations? That would require significant contributions. Let's say... a billion yen?

Me: A billion? Let's be real, Nezu. I'm talking about real influence here. Two billion, and I get a seat on the board.

Nezu: Two billion is quite generous, but the board? That's a rather steep demand. How about this: Two billion, and you'll have advisory privileges. You can make suggestions, but the final decisions will rest with the administration.

I smirked, knowing I had him on the ropes.

Me: Advisory privileges? That's a start, but I want more than just suggestions. How about two and a half billion, and I get a veto on major decisions?

Nezu paused again, clearly weighing the offer.

Nezu: You drive a hard bargain, Midoriya-kun. Two and a half billion it is, but the veto power will be limited to certain areas—curriculum changes, major financial decisions, and structural expansions. Nothing more.

Me: Deal. I'll have the funds transferred by the end of the week. And Nezu? I want a special class to be included in UA from now on.... a villain rehablitation center.

Nezu: Of course, Midoriya-kun. And I, in turn, expect you to use your influence wisely. We may have struck a deal, but U.A. remains dedicated to its mission of training the next generation of heroes and future villains to get back on track.

I hung up the phone, a satisfied grin on my face. If Shigaraki was going to throw everything into chaos, I needed to have a backup plan. And now, with U.A. under my financial influence, I was one step closer to making sure things went my way, no matter what happened.
