(0:51:25 - 0:51:43)
"How can you laugh after nearly dying!" Mineta said.
"I'd be pissed if that chick nearly killed me." Bakugo said.
"Honestly, I can't believe he actually tried to perform the transplant himself." Recovery girl sighed.
"His recklessness just might rival yours All Might." Nighteye said.
All Might chuckled at this but was also caught off guard by the casual comment. He didn't expect Nighteye to so easily speak to him after their argument.
"Don't ever, ever, ever, ever ask me to do anything like that ever again." Pepper said.
"I don't have anyone but you." Stark said before getting out of his seat while she dried her hands.
"What do you want me to do with this." She picks up the old arc reactor.
"That? Destroy it. Incinerate it."
"You don't want to keep it?"
"Pepper, I've been called many things. 'Nostalgic' is not one of them."
(0:51:43 - 0:52:18)
"What! You can't destroy it. It's one of your precious babies." Mei said.
"Not to mention that it saved his life. I'd say that gives it sentimental value." Melissa said.
"I don't see the big deal. He has a better one so why keep the old one." Kota said.
"Well having a spare could be helpful." Izuku said.
"Will that be all, Mr. Stark?" Pepper asked.
"That will be all, Miss Potts." Stark answered and Pepper began walking away.
"Hey, Butterfingers, come here." He called out to one of his robots. "What's all this stuff doing on my desk? That's my phone, that's a picture of me and my dad. Right there. In the garbage. All that stuff."
(0:52:18 - 0:52:34)
"He has a robot named Butterfingers?" Mina chuckled.
"Oh my gosh! I want robot babies!" Mei said.
"But why is he getting rid of the picture of him and his father? Doesn't he miss him?" Inko asked.
"Maybe his father wasn't the best guy." Dabi said.
The scene at the press conference implied that Stark missed his father but this moment implies that Stark didn't have the best relationship with the man. This peaked Todoroki's interest. Perhaps he and Stark had a little bit in common.
The scene changes to Rhodey giving a short lecture to some soldiers about the future of air combat. He asks if it's manned or unmanned. He then goes on to say that no unmanned aerial vehicle can trump a pilots instinct, insight, and judgement.
(0:52:34 - 0:52:59)
"True. No machine can ever replace a human mind." Power Loader said.
"Indeed. That's actually why the U.A. entrance exam isn't as difficult as it sounds." Nezu said. "While fighting a bunch of robots sounds very intimidating, you all have many advantages over them. If you intend on enrolling in U.A. then you must be smart, creative, and unpredictable." He explained to the students.
"That entrance exam is far to bias. I wasn't even able to pass it." Aizawa said.
"Well perhaps you should've tried harder." Nezu joked causing the other teachers to snicker.
"Didn't you basically cheat your way in, Midnight." Aizawa glared.
"I didn't cheat. I passed fair and square." She said.
"By putting the other contestants to sleep?" He raised an eyebrow.
"It was an accident. I was trying to use my quirk on the bots." She explained.
'What a lousy excuse.' He thought.

He didn't win but he did make it very far, maybe even the top 3, only losing during the one on one portion of the festival when he was pitted against someone with a mutant type quirk, which he wasn't good at dealing with yet.)

"Colonel? Why not a pilot without a plane?" Stark suddenly appeared.
Rhodey dismissed the other soldiers. "I'm surprised." He said to Stark. "I swear, I didn't expect to see you walking around so soon."
"I'm doing a little better than walking. Rhodey, I'm working on something big. I came to talk to you. I want you to be a part of it."
(0:52:59 - 0:53:38)
"I assume this new project has something to do with the Iron Man suit." Iida said.
"Most likely, and I guess he wants Rhodes to be a part of it." Aizawa said.
"Wouldn't involving the military be a bad idea though?" Sero asked.
"He probably trusts Rhodes since they're friends." Kirishima said.
Rhodey mistakenly assumes that Stark's new project is for the military, but Stark explains that it isn't.
"What? You're humanitarian now or something?" Rhodey asked.
"I need you to listen to me." Stark said.
"No. What you need is time to get your mind right. I'm serious."
"Okay."
"It's nice seeing you, Tony." Rhodey said before walking away.
"Thanks." Stark said quietly.
(0:53:38 - 0:54:11)
"Wow. Some friend." Toga said.
"It's understandable. The military relies on Stark for those weapons. To them, he basically turned his back on them." Kurogiri said.
"That doesn't matter. He's supposed to be Tony's friend. He should be more supportive of his decisions." Toga countered.
The scene changes to Stark, back at home, beginning to work on his next suit. He tells JARVIS to make a new file for the Mark II.
(0:54:11 - 0:54:26)
"Yes! He's finally gonna make another suit!" Mei said.
"I can't wait to see the improvements." Melissa said.
"He'll need to improve a lot if he's gonna be a real hero." Power Loader said.
When JARVIS asks if he should store the files on the Stark Industries Central Database, Stark tells him to keep everything on his private server, saying he doesn't know who to trust right now.
(0:54:26 - 0:54:36)
"Good idea. His company would probably just try to sell the suit, which could lead to the Ten Rings getting their hands on it." All Might said. He understood Stark's need to keep the suit a secret. It's like how he has to keep One For All a secret.
While stark messes with a holographic blueprint of the Mark I, he explains to JARVIS that he doesn't want the Mark II winding up in the wrong hands but that maybe in his it can actually do some good.
(0:54:36 - 0:54:51)
"The suit is certainly safer in your hands." Nighteye said.
"Right. As far away from the Ten Rings as possible." Midnight said.
The scene changed to the Ten Rings digging in the desert. They then discover the remains of the Mark I and Raza is revealed to still be alive.
(0:54:51 - 0:55:32)
"Speak of the devil." Midnight sighed.
"Are you kidding me! That bastard's still alive!" Bakugo yelled.
"And they found the Mark I!" Sato said.
"There shouldn't be any reason to worry." Power Loader said. "Without the arc reactor that suit is just a hunk of metal. I doubt the Ten Rings can make their own."
While this eased some of their worries, a few still had some concerns about the Mark I being in the hands of such monsters.
The scene switched back to Stark, now working on one of the Mark II boots with Dum-E. Stark openly complains about how Dum-E keeps getting in the way.
(0:55:32 - 0:56:10)
"Hehehe. It's kinda funny seeing him talking with one of his bots." Melissa giggled.
"I talk to my babies all the time." Mei said.
While the others didn't have much to say about this scene, they were interested in how the Mark II would turn out.
The scene cuts to Stark filming a test run of the Mark II boots. He tells Dum-E (now equipped with a fire extinguisher) that their on standby for fire safety while U (equipped with a camera) films the test.
(0:56:10 - 0:56:28)
"What's he doing?" Toru asked.
"He's recording test runs of his equipment. Anyone developing support gear should always test the gear to make sure it works properly." Power Loader explained.
Stark decides to start off with 10% thrust capacity.
"And three, two, one." He activated the boots and launched himself into the ceiling and fell behind a desk. Dum-E then helps by dousing him.
(0:56:28 - 0:56:50)
The audience burst into laughter.
"Oh my god! That was hilarious!" Bakugo said as he laughed maniacally.
"Well, things don't always go as planned." Power Loader chuckled.
"Man, I can't even count the amount of times I've set my house on fire during test runs." Mei said.
Meanwhile Eri pouted. She didn't like that everyone was laughing at Mr. Stark.
As he laughed, Izuku also noted the function of the boots. "So rocket boots. My guess is for increased jump height. That could be useful for navigating certain terrain."
As Mei noticed Izuku taking notes she realized something. "You, green-haired boy." She pointed at Izuku. "I'm gonna need those notes later."
"O-okay." Izuku said.
Stark is then shown working at a computer. The scene cuts again to him constructing a holographic flight stabilizer (repulsor).
(0:56:50 - 0:57:09)
"Stark's tech is so impressive. Even the stuff on I-Island doesn't quite compare." Melissa said.
"Holographic blueprints sure would come in handy." Power Loader said.
The scene cuts to Stark now equipping the actual flight stabilizer. Pepper then enters the workshop and informs him that Obadiah is upstairs. She then notices the flight stabilizer.
"I thought you said you were done making weapons." She asked.
"It is. This is a flight stabilizer. It's completely harmless." He explained before activating it and launching himself backwards. "I didn't expect that."
(0:57:09 - 0:57:49)
The audience once again laughed at Stark's misfortune. A few, however, took note of what Stark said.
"Flight stabilizer?" Izuku questioned. "So the rocket boots aren't just for increased jump height?"
"Evidently not." Kurogiri answered. "Stark fully intends to fly."
"Ooh, that sounds fun." Toga said.
"Didn't he already fly though?" Kota asked.
"Not necessarily." Power Loader said. "What Stark did before wasn't true flight. He just managed to launch himself into the air at high speeds. It didn't last long and he had no control over where he was going."
As Izuku noted the flight stabilizers, the audience began to wonder if Stark would actually be able to achieve flight.
The scene cuts to Stark arriving upstairs. He spots Obadiah playing the piano.
"How'd it go?" Stark asked. Obadiah didn't respond. Stark then notices the pizza on the table. "It went that bad, huh?"
"Just because I brought pizza back from New York doesn't mean it went bad." Obadiah said.
Obadiah then says that it would have gone better if Stark had been there. Stark defends himself, saying that he was laying low like Obadiah told him to. Obadiah explains that he meant in public and with the press, but that this was a board of directors meeting.
"This was a board of directors meeting?" Stark asked.
"The board is claiming you have post traumatic stress." Obadiah began. "They're filing an injunction."
"A what?"
"They want to lock you out."
(0:57:49 - 0:58:27)
The audience became concerned when Obadiah mentioned a board meeting. The fact that Stark wasn't invited to it wasn't a good sign. Their suspicions were confirmed when Obadiah said that the board wants to lock Stark out.
"Can they do that?" Uraraka asked.
"Well, they could, but I imagine that they'd all have to vote against Stark, even Obadiah, in order to do that." Melissa said.
"That's not fair." Toga said, slightly upset at this. "It's his company, he can do whatever he wants with it. They can't just lock him out because he did something they didn't like."
"I doubt Obadiah would do that. He's basically Stark's father figure." Iida said.
"What makes you so sure?" Kurogiri asked. "Obadiah clearly wasn't happy with Stark's decision. What makes you think he wouldn't take the chance to overturn it."
"Like I said before, guys like him are only after money." Dabi said.
While the students wanted to have faith in Obadiah, they couldn't deny the possibility that he would turn his back on Stark.
Stark, becoming frustrated with all this, decides that it doesn't matter because he and Obadiah own controlling interest in the company.
"Tony, the board has rights, too." Obadiah said. "They're making the case that you and your new direction isn't in the company's best interest."
"I'm being responsible. That's a new direction for me, for the company." Stark attempted to argue. "I mean, me on the company's behalf being responsible for the way that... This is great." He then got up to leave.
Obadiah then asks Stark to let him have some engineers analyse the arc reactor so that he can pitch it to the board. Stark refuses and says that the arc reactor stays with him before storming out back down to his workshop.
(0:58:27 - 0:59:22)
"It's best if that arc reactor stays with Stark." All Might said. "He can't really trust anyone with it right now."
"I can't believe that even after what he said at the press conference his company still wants to make weapons." Jiro said.
"It's like they don't care about the people they could be hurting at all." Toru said.
"Because they don't." Shigiraki said. "They're just like you heroes. Hiding behind a promise to protect everyone, when in reality you're just looking out for yourselves."
The heroes and students disagreed with Shigiraki's view on heroes. Izuku, however, considered what Shigiraki said. Now that he'd thought about it, there are a lot of heroes who seem to be after fame more than anything else. There are also heroes like Endeavor who seem to care more about fighting villains than saving lives. Even All Might wasn't everything he'd hoped. So in some way's, yes, heroes do hide behind false promises. But they do still help people. They are still heroes.
The scene cuts to Stark continuing his tests. He says that it's day 11 and test 37. He keeps Dum-E on fire safety but warns them to not douse him again when he isn't on fire, saying that if they do then they'll be donated to a city college.
(0:59:22 - 0:59:32)
"Hey, be nice to Dum-E. He just wants to help." La Brava said.
"He's done this 37 times now. That's some dedication." Kirishima said.
"This is actually pretty standard when it comes to testing support gear. It takes a lot of time to get the gear working just right." Melissa said.
This time Stark decides to start with 1% thrust capacity. Upon activation, Stark manages to hover for a few seconds before deactivating the boots.
He turns to Dum-E (who then aims the fire extinguisher directly at him). "Please don't follow me around with it, either, 'cause I feel like I'm gonna catch on fire spontaneously."
Stark then increases the thrust capacity to 2.5%. He activates the boots and begins hovering once again, but this time he ends up accidentally moving around the room. He goes over his cars and his desks as a bunch of papers scatter into the air.
He manages to make his way back to the center of the room and hover in place. He then deactivates the boots, satisfied with the test.
He turns to Dum-E (who prepares to douse him again). "No! Uh-uh! Uh-uh! Uh!" He shouted, stopping Dum-E. "Yeah, I can fly."
(0:59:32 - 1:01:09)
"Yeah, he's really starting to get the hang of this." Melissa said.
"But does that really count as flying?" Kirishima asked.
"You have to remember, hard boy, that was only 2.5% thrust capacity." Mei said. "If he can achieve lift with that little power, then flight is definitely possible."
"Please don't call me that ever again." Kirishima said.
Stark suits up into the Mark II. As the suit activates, Stark's HUD is shown while he talks to JARVIS, making sure everything is functioning properly. The Mark II is then fully shown.
(1:01:09 - 1:02:03)
The audience stared in awe at the new suit.
"Holy crap. He really looks like a robot now." Kaminari said.
"He certainly improved the look." Midnight said.
"So shiny." Aoyama said.
"It looks incredible. A complete redesign of the original." Melissa said.
"I can't wait to see what it can do!" Mei said.
Eri and Kota also liked the new look. Kota thought it looked cool, while Eri was glad it wasn't as scary-looking.
Izuku sketched the design of the Mark II in his notebook.
Stark decides to take the suit for a test flight. JARVIS warns him that they are not yet prepared to test the suits flight functions but Stark ignores his warnings, saying "Sometimes you got to run before you can walk."
(1:02:03 - 1:02:19)
"That's an incredibly reckless mentality." Aizawa said.
"I understand wanting to test your equipment, but you should do it under safe conditions." Power Loader said.
"Yeah, he should make sure he's ready before doing something as dangerous as flying." Melissa agreed.
"Oh please, who ever solved anything by being careful. Real breakthroughs are made by those willing to take risks." Mei said.
Stark flew out of the workshop and into the sky.
"YEAH! WHOOOH!" He shouted from the excitement. "Handles like a dream."
(1:02:19 - 1:02:48)
The audience watched as Stark began flying. They were completely amazed. They
