Author's Note

Alright, everyone. It's time to begin Iron Man 2.

Now, I don't really have much to say this time around so let's get right to it. I hope you all enjoy.

Trixter appeared on the stage. "Alright, everyone. It's time for the next movie. For this one, we'll be returning to our favorite genius billionaire, Tony Stark. This film is Iron Man 2." He said as the title appeared on the screen.

"Yes! I'm so excited to see Stark again!" Mei bounced.

Eri smiled. She was also excited to see Iron Man again.

Stain meanwhile was not very excited for this. Stark's actions in the first film constantly conflicted with each other. He was someone that made Stain question his perception of them. The idea of having to see him again wasn't very pleasing to Stain.

"I'm interested in seeing how the world reacts to the fact that he's Iron Man." Momo said.

"I'm glad you brought that up, Yaoyorozu. In this film, you'll see first hand what it's like to have the status of number one hero, or rather, the only hero. How does Tony Stark's reveal at the end of Iron Man impact his life as well as the world around him?" Trixter asked.

"What do you think, All Might? You're the biggest celebrity out of any of us." Mic said.

"Well, I'm in the spotlight plenty, but I don't go out of my way to attract a crowd. I have a feeling things will be different with Stark." All Might said.

"Now, my question for you all this time around is... Can one man protect the world?" Trixter asked.

The audience thought about it. No, of course not. It takes more than one person to protect everyone.

"You all think 'no', but do you really believe that? After all, most of you seem to think that All Might can solve all of your problems." Trixter said.

The audience was silent. They couldn't deny that they did often think that All Might could fix any situation. But to be fair, he always does.

Even the pro heroes couldn't deny All Might's effectiveness as a hero. There have been plenty of situations where they needed him, but when does he ever need them?

"You all need to realize something. All Might is just one man. He is not some god that will magically fix everything. Regardless of how much he might want you to think that. And the same applies to all of you. There are some things you simply can't do alone." Trixter said. "This film will show you what it's like when one man tries to carry the world on his shoulders. Let's see how this turns out." Trixter concluded as he made his way towards his seat and the film began.

The film began in Moscow. Inside a run-down home, a sickly man was watching a live news feed of the press conference at the end of the first Iron Man movie.

"The truth is... I am Iron Man." Stark revealed on the television.

(0:00:00 - 0:01:07)

"So this is during the press conference. When Stark reveals that he's Iron Man." Momo said.

"I still can't believe he actually revealed himself like that. On live television no less." Kirishima said.

"It was unbelievably irresponsible." Aizawa said.

"It was arrogance at work." Stain said.

"Ivan..." The sickly man called out weakly before coughing.

The man named Ivan then entered the room and sat next to the old man.

(0:01:07 - 0:01:43)

"Who are those two?" Sato asked.

"The bedridden one is Anton Vanko. The other one is his son, Ivan Vanko." Trixter explained.

Izuku noted the names, thinking these two individuals might have some importance.

"...That should be you." Anton said as he stared at Stark on the television screen.

"Don't listen to that crap." Ivan said as he began feeding his father.

"I'm sorry... All I can give you is my knowledge..." Anton coughed as he closed his eyes and stopped moving. Anton Vanko had died.

As Ivan realized his father had passed away, tears filled his eyes and he took a swig of his vodka before letting out a mournful scream.

(0:01:43 - 0:02:38)

"Poor guy..." Uraraka frowned.

"Yeah... That sucks..." Kirishima said.

The audience felt bad for Ivan. They had no idea who he was, but death is always a tragic thing for anyone to deal with. Especially when it's a death in the family.

Ivan was now in his basement, where he found the knowledge his father had left behind for him. The blueprints of the Arc Reactor. These blueprints had both Howard Stark and Anton Vanko's names on it.

(0:02:38 - 0:02:57)

"Wait! He has the Arc Reactor blueprints?!" Toru said.

"How'd he get that?! Did he steal it?!" Mei wondered. She didn't like the idea of someone stealing someone else's work.

"I don't think so. Those blueprints have Anton Vanko's name on it." Kurogiri said.

"Which means Anton Vanko must have helped design the Arc Reactor." Nezu said.

"That's surprising. How have we never heard of him? And why was he living in a place like this?" Melissa asked.

"It'll all be explained in due time." Trixter said.

Ivan got to work and began building... something. Although it wasn't clear what. As he worked, his pet bird watched.

Various newspaper and magazine clippings were shown littered throughout the room. One clipping was about Tony's Arc Reactor, saying 'Will he ever share his secrets to power the world?'

(0:02:57 - 0:03:50)

"It wouldn't be such a bad idea. Now that he's perfected the Arc Reactor's design, Stark could provide clean and renewable energy to the whole world!" Mei smiled.

"But we've also seen what can happen when his technology falls into the wrong hands. So I don't know if sharing it is really the best idea." Sero said.

Ivan continued to work while also taking breaks to feed his bird. (What a nice guy)

Another newspaper clipping was shown. This one was about Iron Man, saying 'Iron Man stabilizes East-West Relations.'

(0:03:50 - 0:04:21)

"Looks like Stark's been busy." Midnight said.

"Oh, yeah. He's really been solidifying himself as a superhero ever sense he revealed his identity." Trixter said.

Once Ivan's work was complete, his creation was shown. It was a fully functioning, miniaturized Arc Reactor.

As the device glowed with power, Ivan laughed happily. His plan could finally be set in motion.

(0:04:21 - 0:05:00)

The audience was shocked.

"No way! Did he just make an Arc Reactor?! Like the one Stark has?!" Kaminari asked.

"It looks like it. This could be a problem. What does Vanko intend to do with that?" Nighteye asked.

"You'll have to wait and find out." Trixter said.

"So Stark made one in a cave and now this guy just made it in this dump, but Obadiah and his best engineers couldn't?" Shigaraki questioned.

"Stark's intellect is unrivaled. It makes sense that pretty much no one can replicate his work." Power Loader said.

"This guy just replicated it! Right in front of us!" Shigaraki said.

"It's a lot easier to do that when you have blueprints to the original Arc Reactor. Although I'll admit, the fact that he managed to make a smaller version like Stark's does speak volumes about this man's intelligence. It is still an impressive feat, even if he had blueprints to help." Melissa said.

6 months later

"270 at 30 knots. Holding steady at 15,000 feet. You are clear for exfiltration over the drop zone." A pilot spoke.

Iron Man was then shown inside the back of a plane.

(0:05:00 - 0:05:14)

The audience smiled upon seeing Iron Man.

"There's that beautiful baby!" Mei bounced with excitement.

"Sounds like he's in the middle of a mission." Endeavor said.

"Awesome. We're jumping right into the action." Bakugo grinned.

AC/DC's Shoot to Thrill began playing as the back door of the plane opened and Iron Man jumped out.

As Iron Man flew towards the ground, fireworks could be seen.

(0:05:14 - 0:05:30)

"Are those... fireworks?" Thirteen asked.

"I don't think Stark is on a mission." Izuku realized.

Iron Man did a few spins in the air before being hit by a random firework. He quickly recovered and began flying towards the ground at a greater speed, all while dodging the fireworks in his path.

As Iron Man reached his destination, he landed on a giant stage in front of hundreds of people. The crowd cheered as more fireworks went off behind him and a group of girls in Iron Man style outfits began dancing while a large screen at the back of the stage displayed an American flag.

(0:05:30 - 0:05:56)

The audience stared in amazement at the spectacle.

Endeavor sighed. "And here I thought he was doing something productive. He's just showing off."

While some of the teachers and pretty much all of the villains disliked this unnecessary display, the students thought it was awesome and wished they could actually be there.

"Whoa..." Eri stared in awe with a smile on her face. This was so incredible. She'd never seen anything like this before. Iron Man really is the coolest.

As a bird's-eye view of the location was shown, some text appeared.

'Stark Expo - Flushing, New York'

(0:05:56 - 0:06:04)

"Stark Expo?" Gentle questioned.

"It's an exposition where the greatest minds from around the world can create and showcase their inventions, all with the hope of building a better future." Trixter explained.

"So it's kind of like I-Island." Melissa smiled. While this world didn't have an I-Island, it was cool knowing they had something similar.

Iron Man held out his arms and the floor he was standing on began to rotate. The floor then opened up and some mechanical arms appeared and began removing the suit.

As Tony's helmet came off, he gave the crowd a big smile. The rest of the suit was removed and Tony was left in his tuxedo as he bowed to the crowd.

The crowd cheered, the girls kept dancing, and the music continued playing.

(0:06:04 - 0:06:30)

"Looks like he improved the suit's disassembling process." Compress said.

"Speaking of the suit, is that a new model?" Mei rubbed her chin.

"Yep. It's the Mark IV." Trixter confirmed.

"How'd you know it was a new suit? It looks exactly like the Mark III." Uraraka asked.

"There are some slight differences. You wouldn't notice at a glance though." Power Loader said.

"But if you're gonna make a new suit, why make it the same as the older one?" Jiro questioned.

"The Mark III was irreparably damaged in the fight with Iron Monger. So the Mark IV was built as a simple replacement. That's why it's almost the exact same as the Mark III." Trixter explained.

While all this was going on, Mineta and Kaminari where busy staring at the girls dancing.

As the dance reached it's climax, all the girls made their way to Tony and did one final pose as the music concluded and the crowd gave a thunderous applause.

With the show over, the girls began leaving the stage.

(0:06:30 - 0:07:00)

Many in the theater began clapping as well.

"No! Don't go!" Mineta and Kaminari cried as the girls left the stage.

"That was one hell of an entrance." Kirishima said.

"That was awesome!" Bakugo yelled. He was a little disappointed that Stark wasn't actually on a mission, but this was still cool to see.

Kota, as much as he hates to admit it, loved this. It was a clear example of a hero being a show-off, but there was no denying how cool it was.

"He certainly does know how to put on a show." All Might smiled.

"It's an unnecessary waste of time." Aizawa sighed.

"I disagree. Being a great hero takes more than just skills. Having good charisma is important as well. You need to know how to put people at ease and make them feel safe. In that sense, activities like this aren't a complete waste." Nighteye said.

"There's a difference between putting people at ease and showing off." Dabi countered.

"That was so cool! The way he flew in and dodged all those explosions! And then he landed with the explosion behind him and all the people started dancing and cheering! And then there was all the colorful lights and the really loud music, but not the scary kind of loud! It was a really cool kind!" Eri bounced excitedly.

Izuku smiled. It was nice seeing Eri so genuinely happy. And she was smiling more than ever before. "It was awesome. I'm glad you really enjoyed it, Eri." He said.

"Maybe when we get out of here, I can take you to a concert." Toga said.

"What's a concert?" Eri asked.

"It's a lot like this." Toga pointed at the screen.

"Really?! You'll take to me to one?!" Eri began to smile.

"Of course!" Toga grinned.

Izuku got nervous. Trixter said that Eri would be with the heroes when they go back to their world. There's no way the heroes would allow Himiko to take Eri anywhere.

'Take Eri to a concert.' Izuku noted. If Himiko can't actually take Eri, then he would make sure to.

The crowd began chanting Tony's name.

"Oh! It's good to be back." Tony clapped for himself. "You missed me? I missed you, too."

"Blow something up!" Bakug- uh- I mean, some random guy in the crowd yelled.

"Blow something up? I already did that." Tony said.

The audience chuckled.

"I'm not saying that the world is enjoying its longest period of uninterrupted peace in years because of me." Tony stated.

The audience cheered.

(0:07:00 - 0:07:26)

"Really?" Momo questioned.

"Yep. Stark's spent the last six months establishing world peace." Trixter confirmed.

"That's impressive." Iida said.

"It's like what happened after All Might made his debut." Mic said.

"So Stark is basically this world's Symbol of Peace." Todoroki said.

All Might smiled. The world needs a Symbol of Peace. It was nice to know that this world had someone to fill the role.

Izuku chuckled a little. He found the fact that a Quirkless man had achieved the same thing as All Might amusing.

"Don't you dare compare All Might to Stark!" Stain yelled. "All Might is a true hero! He puts others before himself! He inspires hope in others! And he always gives his all to protect everyone! Even now, in his weakened state, he still fights! He has more than earned his title! Stark? Stark is just a man showing off and indulging his own ego! He is no symbol!" He declared.

"Alright, Stain. Dial it down a little. You gotta save that anger for later." Trixter said.

Stain growled. The film just started and Stark was already pissing him off.

"I'm not saying that from the ashes of captivity, never has a greater phoenix metaphor been personified in human history." Tony boasted. "I'm not saying that Uncle Sam can kick back on a lawn chair, sipping on an iced tea because I haven't come across anyone who's man enough to go toe-to-toe with me on my best day!"

The audience cheered once again.

(0:07:26 - 0:07:57)

Many in the theater rolled their eyes.

"His ego certainly hasn't diminished in these six months." Tokoyami said. "We get it. You're great." Dark Shadow said.

"Regardless of his achievements, he could at least try to be a little more humble about it." Tsu said.

"Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony!" The audience cheered, causing Tony to give a smug smile.

"I love you, Tony!" A woman yelled.

"Please, it's not about me. It's not about you. It's not even about us. It's about legacy. It's about what we choose to leave behind for the future generations." Tony said.

(0:07:57 - 0:08:13)

The audience smiled at this. They knew just how important legacy was to Stark. His journey in the first Iron Man film had also made everyone realize how important their own legacies were.

The early part of this presentation had shown some of Stark's worse traits. He was being arrogant and showing off. But now, this talk about legacy was showing that Stark is still the hero everyone grew to love. He hasn't forgotten what Yinsen taught him.

Tony continued. "And that's why for the next year and for the first time since 1974, the best and brightest men and women of nations and corporations the world over will pool their resources, share their collective vision, to leave behind a brighter future. It's not about us." Tony said as the crowd cheered. "Therefore, what I am saying, if I'm saying anything, is welcome back to the Stark Expo."

The audience cheered.

"And now, making a special guest appearance from the great beyond to tell you what it's all about, please welcome my father, Howard." Tony said as he left the stage.

A video of Howard Stark began to play on the screen at the back of the stage.

"Everything is achievable through technology. Better living, robust health, and for the first time in human history, the possibility of world peace." Howard said.

(0:08:13 - 0:09:03)

"You know, at first, I would have disagreed with Howard, but after seeing Hulk, I have to agree. If Quirks can be achieved through technology then anything's possible." Uraraka said.

"And Stark did achieve world peace using technology. So Howard wasn't wrong." Iida said.

As Howard continued, Tony was shown behind stage. He used a device to check his blood. The result wasn't good.

'Blood Toxicity: 19%'

(0:09:03 - 0:09:24)

The audience was confused.

"Huh? Blood toxicity?" Inko questioned.

"You'll understand later." Trixter said.

While most of the audience wondered what was wrong, a few had an idea. Most notably was Recovery Girl.

"The Stark Expo. Welcome." Howard's speech concluded and the video ended.

The audience cheered.

Tony was now with Happy, who was preparing to guide him out of the Expo.

"All right, it's a zoo out there, watch out." Happy said, referring to Tony's fans.

The two then went out of the doors and were immediately greeted by a crowd of fans.

Tony greeted many of the people as Happy struggled to get him through the crowd. One girl even gave Tony her number.

Tony signed some Iron Man pictures and gave a little kid wearing a toy Iron Man helmet a friendly pat on the head. (I'm sure most of you probably already know this, but that little kid is actually Peter Parker.)

(0:09:24 - 0:10:10)

Most of the heroes smiled at this. It was always nice seeing your fans.

The students just imagined what it would be like to have fans of their own when
