1 what's your favorite holiday and why?
Thanksgiving! It's without the pressure of presents on Christmas and just feels more like an Autumn holiday, which is my favorite season, where everyone in my family or Friendsgiving goes around in a circle and says what they're thankful for. It can be just cold enough for a hot chocolate or mull wine too.
2 what is one Wattpad goal?
Honestly, have one of my stories be a paid story. I understand this is controversial but I however work full time and find it difficult to take the time to write. If I could have one story be a paid story, I could hopefully take more time to write and maybe one day be able to afford to edit a story and self-publish, which is also a dream of mine!
3 what's your favorite snack?
Poutine! I live in a European country currently where you cannot find poutine let alone authentic poutine. It's a snack or appetizer originating from Quebec but has since become iconic to Canada and which many northern United States people also eat now. I crave it so much and always make sure to eat it when I visit home in the States.
4 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?
Matt Damon. I'm currently only saying this because we're both in the same area during the Coronavirus lockdown and I feel like he's the most likely celeb I could potentially run into. We'd go to a pub and share stories about where we're from and just enjoy the good old Guinness. (I'm craving a fresh Guinness in a pub so bad as I'm currently in week 7 of isolation due to Coronavirus).
5 Are you still surprised when you get a new vote, follow or comment?
Yes! Not so much the votes but the comments absolutely. I love reading them. The more comments, whether praise or constructive criticism, the better. They make me so happy and instantly make my day better. Even thinking about reading the comments makes me excited.
6 how would you celebrate a publishing deal?
Going out for a session in a pub with my boyfriend and friends, and potentially actually letting them read my novel instead of hiding it and my Wattpad username from them. Let me finish this by saying we would drink responsibly as always and of course take a taxi home since none of us have a car anyways.
7 what's your favorite thing about Wattpad?
The readers. And their comments. And the support the community can give you. You all lift me up in so many ways when I struggle with writing my stories (and I always struggle).
8 what's the best way to handle a bully?
Ignore them. Common enough advice that I still struggle with daily. This was especially hard for me in high school and it took me well into college to accept that you're a different person in every person's eyes and only you know yourself 100%. If someone doesn't like you, ignore them because there are plenty of people who do. If someone takes things too far, you're not a snitch for reporting them, whoever it is you have to report them to. Your wellbeing and mental health is important.
9 what's a song you enjoy? Who is the artist?
Under the Boardwalk by the Drifters is my favorite song for random good childhood memories where my friends and I listened to this song an absurd amount of times for no apparent reason. Currently I'm addicted to the song Closer by Mike Perry, but that'll change by next week I'm sure.
10 Who is your favorite author?
How could I choose just one? Rick Riordan was my favorite childhood author and his Lightning Thief series is what got me into loving history and mythology. I loved Sarah Dessen during my high school years. Today I'd say Mariana Zapata and Lindsay Buroker are two of my favorite authors while City of Thieves by David Benioff is my favorite book.
11 what's your favorite movie?
As a kid it was Lion King and The Day after Tomorrow. Nowadays what immediately comes to mind is Invictus but I'm sure there's one I'm forgetting about.

Defining Life. It's about two high school students (main character Heather) who have a unique past together that no one else knows about, and they have to come together for an English project which shows them just how different life can be from the stereotype. It's a fun little novella that has some serious moments and some funny moments.
