"Oh it's showing something again." said Zizhen.

"After Cloud Recesses study? What are we going to watch then?" asked Jin Ling.

A loud voice can be heard inside the Lotus Pier made by the man in black and red robes who is running through the halls of their home.

"Who else other than Wei Wuxian who is loud in the Lotus Pier?" asked Jin Zixuan.

"Of course it will be him who straight up yelled my name disturbing the peace of the place." said Jiang Cheng.

Reaching the kitchen where his shijie is busy cooking, he greeted her with the brightest smile. "Good morning, shijie. Looking so pretty in the morning."

"Shijie is the prettiest person to see in the morning." said Wei Wuxian with a smile and Jiang Cheng nodded his head.

Jin Zixuan was blushing seeing the normal get up of Jiang Yanli.

Jiang Yanli booped his nose with a chuckle. "If you're looking for a-cheng then you can find him in the lake. The sun was already high in the sky, a great time for swimming." she said and go back to her work.

"Thank you, shijie." he said before scurrying away to the lakes.

"Oh are we going to see a naked Jiang Cheng?" asked Nie Huaisang.

Wei Wuxian laughed while Jiang is slowly getting embarrassed.

"It was just a regular event in Lotus Pier where you are going to see your shixiong and da-shixiong half naked." said a Jiang disciple.

In the lake, a lot of Jiang Sect disciples are doing their swimming lesson while others are there to supervise them. Reaching there, Wei Wuxian sat at the edge besides his shidis who are watching the lesson.

Wei Wuxian asked, "Where's Jiang Cheng? Shijie said he's here but I can't see him."

One of the disciple replied, "He's been swimming here since an hour ago, he might be in the most deepest and coldest part of the lake."

"Oh I want to be a Jiang disciple." said a random disciple seeing how the kids enjoy learning to swim.

"Jiang disciples looked so hot." said a female cultivator dreamily.

Madam Yu narrowed her eyes at her knowing that it's kinda disrespectful to say to their disciples while the Jiang disciples was blushing.

Wei Wuxian just nod at him and continue to watch the kids swimming. Every Jiang disciple is adept in swimming especially him and Jiang Cheng. They used to compete who is the fastest swimmer but this is Jiang Cheng's specialty so he always win.

Jiang Cheng looked at him smugly.

"Of course you are. I can't defeat you no matter what." said Wei Wuxian with a pout.

"A penny for your thoughts." he heard a man said.

He look for the source of it only to see the man swimming not far from him, his head is the only one visible as his whole body is submerged in the water.

"Damn, he look so gorgeous." said a female cultivator and Lan Xichen smiled at her with a visible warning making her gulped nervously.

"No one can defeat Jiang-xiong gorgeousness when he is in the water." said Nie Huaisang making Jiang Cheng blush.

Wei Wuxian said, "I was thinking about you. What are you doing? Why are swimming without inviting me?"

Jiang Cheng replied, "I invited you but you were sleeping that even how hard I tried to wake you up you didn't stirred in your sleep."

"Jiang Cheng, how dare you?" Wei Wuxian whined.

"It's true. No matter how hard we try to wake you up you won't rise unless it was nine already." said Jiang Cheng.

He swam near the edge and lifted his body to the floor of the pier and sat next to man. Water are dripping from his hair making his half naked body glisten.

Jiang Cheng eyes widen seeing his half naked self was showed to everyone while Lan Xichen frowned for the first time.

"I always know that Jiang-xiong has a nice body." said Nie Huaisang.

"That's unfair. Female Jiang disciples are free to watch them anytime but what about us." whined a female cultivator.

Jiang Yanli just chuckled at them while Lan Xichen was controlling himself not to glare at them.

Wei Wuxian asked, "Do you have any problem?"

Jiang Cheng raised a brow at him and slowly stood up and took his robes before going inside their house.

"Is he just going to walked around nakedly? Oh what a sight to see." said a female disciple.

Lan Xichen gripped Jiang Cheng's waist tightly but not to tight to hurt the man.

Seeing that, all the female cultivators and disciples looked at Lan Xichen with envy.

Wei Wuxian walked beside him saying, "Madam Yu would be mad if she saw you walking around half naked. Are you showing everyone how small you waist is?"

Jiang Cheng replied boredly, "A-niang isn't here. She traveled to Meishan early in the morning and will return tomorrow before dusk."

"But that's not a reason for you to show your naked body to everyone." said Lan Xichen.

"Is it my fault that the screen showed it? Besides, it was a normal occurrence in Lotus Pier." said Jiang Cheng.

Wei Wuxian said excitedly, "Then we have a free day. Shijie is preparing food, lets go straight to the kitchen to eat."

Wei Wuxian dragged Jiang Cheng to the kitchen. Jiang Yanli was already preparing the table so they help her. They have breakfast together with the usual loud voice of Wei Wuxian, snide remarks from Jiang Cheng, and a soft chuckle and giggle from Jiang Yanli.

"At least change your robes first." said Lan Xichen.

"As you can see I was drag by my brother." said Jiang Cheng.

"Looking at the three of them make me jealous. My siblings are not that close to me." said a younger disciple.

Jiang Yanli said, "A-cheng should change clothes, your robes are all wet with all the dripping water from your hair."

Jiang Cheng replied, "I decided to go straight to my room after swimming to dry myself but this annoying man dragged me here."

Seeing that Lan Xichen gave him a look, Wei Wuxian smiled nervously.

"I won't do that again." he said with uncertainty making the juniors laughed at him.

"Knowing you, I'm sure you will do that again." said Jin Ling.

They chatted more after eating before Jiang Cheng decided to finally take a bath and change his wet clothes. After bathing and changing his clothes, he found Wei Wuxian sittibg in his bed with a letter in his hands while looking at him suspiciously.

"Interesting." said Wen Xu.

"That's look like a love letter." said Nie Huaisang while looking intently at the letter that Wei Wuxian was holding.

Waving the letter in front of him, Wei Wuxian asked, "Who is this from?"

Jiang Cheng immediately grabbed it angrily, "None of your business."

Wei Wuxian grinned at him, "Jiang Cheng, why is your face so red? Did you finally found a lover? Is that a love letter? Who is this unlucky person?"

"Aren't you supposed to say lucky person?" asked a female cultivator.

"If you know Jiang Cheng's attitude you will say that it was an unlucky person." said Wei Wuxian while Nie Huaisang laugh.

"I am willing to be the unlucky person, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.

"As far as I know, a-die is the only person that a-niang got into a relationship with." said Jingyi making Lan Xichen smile so bright.

Jiang Cheng said angrily, "Shut up! What lover? I have none."

Wei Wuxian continued to tease until he can't take and shooed the man away. When Wei Wuxian is not around, he looked at the letter and decided not to open it and never show it to Wei Wuxian.

"Still trying to deny eh." teased Wei Wuxian.

"As if you can hide it from me forever." said Wei Wuxian with a huff.

Around the evening after dinner, Jiang Cheng grabbed Wei Wuxian to his room.

He said, "You didn't tell me the reason why you are looking for me in the morning."

"Oh I am excited for what is going to happen next." said Nie Huaisang.

"Are they going to sneak out?" asked Zizhen.

"I don't think so." answered Jingyi.

Wei Wuxian just grinned at him and rummaged through his clothes until he found a cloak. "We are sneaking out tonight. Yunping is having a lantern festival and I heard that they are releasing lanters at midnight. I want to see it and also make a wish so I am bringing you with me. Besides, you said Madam Yu won't be here until dusk tomorrow so the possibility of getting caught is low."

Madam Yu huffed making the two gulped nervously.

"Caught on action." said Jingyi with a laugh.

"I want to see how they will sneak out." said Nie Huaisang while getting excited on his seat.

He made Jiang Cheng wear the cloak and bid goodbye to Jiang Yanli who only told them to be careful and be back before dawn. She will be the one to protect them when their father asked where the two is.

"What a supportive sister they have." said a disciple.

"I want to have a sister like that." said another one.

Madam Yu and Jiang Fengmian gave their daughter a look who only smile back at them.

Using a small boat that Wei Wuxian stole in the pier, they finally arrived at the bustling city of Yunping.

Wei Wuxian said, "We will be meeting someone, come follow me."

"Who would it be?" asked Jin Zixuan.

"They have a partner-in-crime." said MianMian.

"No wonder it was hard for me to sneak out because a-niang was so good on it." said Jingyi while sulking.

Jiang Cheng has no choice but to follow the man who walked in front of him a smile while flirting at every girls he saw on their way. Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes for a lot of time already and clicked his tongue every time Wei Wuxian flirted.

Everyone looked at Lan Wangji who is obviously drinking a jar of vinegar while Wei Wuxian is smiling nervously at the screen.

"He's dead." muttered Jiang Cheng.

Jiang Cheng can't take anymore so he asked, "How long are going to arrive at the place of the person we are meeting? Why don't you focus on going there instead of flirting from left to right?"

Wei Wuxian replied while winking at the petite girl wearing bright clothes, "He's just in one of the inn here. You should enjoy the night and stop scowling, no woman is going near you if you have that face throughout the night."

"Only a-die can and will." said Jingyi.

Oh and I found a stall not far from here who is selling the best cuisine of Yunping City so lets go there first to eat before enjoying the night. I already bought lanterns for later, we just have to paint it when we get back at the inn." Nie Huaisang said.

"Why does it seems that the two of you always bring me to death?" asked Nie Huaisang while the two laughed at his situation.

Jiang Cheng just gave him a look and Wei Wuxian replied, "Nie-xiong, it was bold of you to assume that we didn't sneak out."

"They never asked permission before leaving." said Jiang Fengmian.

"It must have been fun then." said Jingyi.

Nie Huaisang just shrugged while Jiang Cheng is busy buying foods and didn't even listen to the two of them. After eating, the three of them decided to roam around and enjoyed themselves.

"He seems to be unbothered by it." said Wei Wuxian while looking at Jiang Cheng on the screen.

"That's because food is more important." said Jiang Yanli.

Nie Huaisang said, "I heard that there is a known brothel here, I am curious of how it looks. Are you two agree to visit the place?"

The two laughed at him but after an hour of painting, fighting, arguing, teasing, and hitting one another they're finally done.

"Can I have this kind of frienship?" asked a random cultivator.

"They look so sweet while doing that." said MianMian.

"I'm the only who dedicated the lantern to my sect. Look at the two of them, painting something related to their husbands." said Nie Huaisang making the two men blush.

"It was a nice painting though." said MianMian.

Wei Wuxian asked teasingly, "Why is it clouds not a lake?"

"Shut up! Didn't you paint something related to Lan Wangji too? Stop it." said Jiang Cheng making Wei Wuxian blush and snuggle into Lan Wangji's embrace.

After minute of laughing, the two finally decided to follow but they can't find him in the middle of the crowd.

Nie Huaisang said, "It's almost midnight, we have to go the lakeside where the releasing of lantern will be held. Maybe Jiang-xiong is already there. Lets go."

He dragged Wei Wuxian and the event started exactly when they arrived. Lighting up the lanter before releasing it, Wei Wuxian made a wish and Nie Huaisang beside him do the same.

"It looks fun. Lets go there sometimes." suggested Nie Huaisang and Wei Wuxian agreed.

"Because I don't believe in wishes." he added.
