‘London.’ You said.  

The door opened and the guard was seen running towards you.. but before he could make it in, he got killed. Gasped as you watched his body hit the floor. You watch Kaecilius as he stood there with the senctums in his hands. Steven looked at you. 

‘No!’ You yelled while he threw it onto the floor. A large explosion blew everyone to the ground.  

‘Y/N? Wong? Mordo?’ You heard Steven say.

You pushed some bricks that had fallen on you, off and followed his voice. It was dark and you were unsure of where he was going. You heard a door open. You followed the sound and bumped into some pieces of the building that collapsed until you finally let a door to your right. You opened it and went through. That’s when you saw Steven come back inside and close the door. 

‘Steven!’ 

You knew this was either New York or Hong Kong. The problem was that you had never actually been through those door before. You had no idea which one it was. Steven turned around and looked at you. 

‘Y/N, thank god. Are you okay?’ he asked.  

‘Yeah, you?’  

He just nodded and turned into a hallway. You hurried after him and started walking besides you. 

‘Hong Kong or New York?’ you asked.  

‘New York.’  

The hallways were dark. A little bit of light came through the tiny windows and some lights lit It up. There were some cabinets and chairs on the side. At the end of the corridor you saw the Rotunda of Gateways. You had only read about it until now. 3 door that lead to another destination which could be altered by the knobs on the side. You stopped and watched him head towards one of the door with the sea behind it.  

‘Your curiosity got us in trouble already, maybe don’t start anymore.’ You sighed.  

He closed the door again and turned the knob. Now the dessert appeared.  

‘Let’s go.’ You said.  

After some more walking you came into the treasure room.  

‘Hello?’ Steven asked.  

‘There should be a guard here somewhere.’ You said. 

You looked around at all the glass cabinets with all of these artifacts. You knew you weren’t even supposed to be here. You wanted to go back and forget this ever happened but a war had already started. Steven stopped in front of the cloak of levitation. It seemed to show some interest in him. 

‘Don’t you dare. You already have the eye around your neck.’ 

Before he could say anything you heard rumbling. You rushed towards the stairs before you backed down. Finally you saw the guard. He backed up the stairs as the door and lower floor started to deform and twist and turn.  

‘Daniel, I see they made you master of this Sanctum.’ 

You looked at Steven and rushed over to him. He grabbed your arm pulled you with him behind the wall.  

‘He’s here to take this Sanctum down, we will die.’ You spoke in fear.  

‘you know what that means?’ Daniel asked Kaecilius. 

‘You’re stronger than you think, he already got London, we can’t let him get this one.’ Steven said.  

‘That’ll you’ll die protecting it.’ Kaecilius followed. 

Kaecilius formed a sharp sword with his hands. A battler between Kaecilius, his 2 helpers and Daniel started. Daniel at first had the winning hand but he was quickly brought to his knees.  

‘Stop!’ You yelled as you jumped over the railing of the stairs.  

Steven hurried after you. You watched has he murder Daniel right there and then. Kaecilius looked at you. You trained with him before he betrayed everyone. He knew you.. he didn’t know Steven though. He pulled his sword out of Daniel. 

‘Ah.. Y/N, long time no see.’ Kaecilius said before stepping forwards. ‘It doesn’t surprise me that you still serve the Ancient One.’

You didn’t respond to him. He was your friend and he betrayed you. His eye were now on Steven.  

‘How long have you been at Kamar-Taj, mister..’ 
  
‘Doctor.’ Steven corrected him. 

‘Mister Doctor.’ Kaecilius said. 

You couldn’t help but chuckle.  

‘It’s Strange.’ Steven sighed. 

‘Maybe, who am I to judge?’  

You let out a small laugh and then shut up as soon as Steven shot you a look. You couldn’t help it. Kaecilius then stabbed Daniel again, draining his last life out of him. You and Steven both created your weapons as Kaecilius came up the stairs. 
 
You got kicked against your shoulder by one of his helpers that ran over the wall to attack you. You grunted and blocked their other attack with your weapen. You headbumped her and then helped Steven who almost got kicked down. You swung your weapon in her face and then jumped over the little barrier. Steven threw some vases at them while you saw Kaecilius’ sword make its way to you. You swung it away while you started running.  

‘You know him?!’ Steven asked you. 

‘It’s a long story, we don’t have time for that right now!’  

You ran into one of the corridors while Steven ran into the other. Only the girl followed you while Kaecilius focused on Steven. You turned to her as you got into a massive battle. She charged art you. You formed circular shields around your hands to deflect with.  

She jumped up and tried to hit you. Her body came down, her arms trying to slam into you but you blocked it. You turned away, ending up behind her and slammed your fist against her back. She grabbed your arm and threw you onto the floor. You groaned but had no time to just lay there in pain.  

You blocked her when she tried to climb on top of you and managed to kick her away. It gave you a few seconds to get up before she ran back towards you. You kicked her back, slammed her against the way and punched her in the face. You felt her hit you in your side before he cut you in your face with something. You let her go and screamed in pain before hitting her in the arm and slamming her face into a wall.  

You then decided it was time to run. You hurried towards the corridor that Steven ran into but he was no longer there. You opened one of the door that lead towards the dessert. The girl jumped out after you as she started sliding down the massive sand hill.  

‘See you later, sucker!’ You yelled at her and you rushed back inside. You closed the door and turned the knob, leaving her stranded.  

You leaned against the wall and panted before you stroke your cheek. You saw the blood on your fingers. That was the least of your worried right now. You had no idea where Steven was. You headed through the corridor again and went into the treasure room.  

It was complete trashed and the cloak was missing. You looked around, you saw some loose restraints on the floor. Who ever was in them, escaped. You had no idea what your next step was. 

‘Steven?!’ You yelled.  

You actually started to worry about him. What if Kaecilius killed him? Did that mean no more late library session with him? Why were you even worried about that? You picked up some artifacts, like it had any use. Ofcourse you knew he wasn’t underneath those but you tried everything at this point.  

‘Steven?!’ You yelled again as you turned into a corridor.  

You saw a circular portal and stopped. It was created by Steven. You saw the guy Kaecilius was with laying in front of the portal lifeless.. did Steven kill him? That was against his nature.  Right when you were about to go into the portal Steven fell out of it, straight with his stomach on the floor.  

‘Steven!’ 

You kneeled down besides him and turned him around. You saw some blood on his outfit and he was wearing the cloak. It actually looked good on him.  

‘Are you okay?! Oh my god-‘ 

‘Don’t worry. I’m fine. I got treatment for it already.’ 

You slowly helped him sit up and then gave him a hug. He was surprised but he hugged you back. You then quickly let him go and looked at him. 

‘Are you sure?’ You asked.  

Steven looked at you. He reached out and grabbed your chin, he then turned your head and ran his other hand past the blood that was dripping down your face.  

‘Are you okay?’ he asked. ‘You’re the one bleeding.’ 

‘yeah. I’m just a little beat up.. but I’m fine. I dumped his minion in the dessert.’  

Steven chuckled before he used his thumb to clean some more blood of your face. 

‘Steven, it’s fine. I’m fine. I thought you were dead.’  

‘Is Kaecilius still in the restraints?’ 

You looked back but you knew you didn’t have to. You then shook his head. Steven sighed. 

‘We’ll at least we survived.’
