Zy was looking up at the sky, thinking hard. I knew he finally thought up something when his eyes rivaled the twinkling stars. He lowered his head, for a split moment we stared at each other. I swear he faintly smiled at me before speaking.

"If you had to marry someone in this place, who would it be and why?"

Alam kong sinabi kong split second pero I think I assumed that 'cause when he asked JC he was not looking at JC. He was staring at me. Me! Oh my gosh Mel, do not overthink you are literally in front of him.

Nagulat ako ng tumahimik si JC, I saw him glance at the other group holding it for a second before sighing and jumping at the pool. When he came back the never-ending teasing started.

"Duwag pala toh eh," Ayun ang panghuling asar ni Kai bago siya tigilan ni Zy.

"Kayang-kaya kong sagutin 'yang truth mo par!" Kai boasted.

"Yes," The screams turned into pitying "awes" ngunit hindi nadismaya si Kai, he was grinning from ear to ear. He seemed to be happy that Leo did not ignore him for once.

I watched as the bottle spins once again, this time there was something different from the anticipation. I was on edge, the bottle was taking too long to stop. Nang bumagal na ang ikot nito I wanted to scream.

It landed on me.

"Truth or Dare, cutie?" Zy was definitely judging JC calling me cutie. Should I be hurt by that? Baka pero naaalala ko na sinabi niya cute ako thus I'm letting that overtake my negative thoughts.

I blinked a few times, there's a part of me that wanted to jump in the pool ngunit hindi ko alam paano lumangoy. Jumping might have been the move, deadly but somehow safe.

"Ako na lang tatalon sa pool para sa'yo," Tatanggihan ko na sana yung offer ni Quatro but someone already interfered before I could even say a thing.

"You don't need to do that, it's his dare."

It was Zy.

"Gusto mo ba siya malunod? Hindi siya marunong lumangoy bro," Bro is supposed to be a friendly term, somehow when it came from Quatro's mouth it became passive-aggressive.

"Then can we make an alternative punishment for those who can't swim, May?" Zy said his concerns, "It's dangerous."

"Sur-" I spun the bottle, the thing is there's a chance that it can land on Zy and I'm not risking that probability. Cliches 101, step 2 find the appropriate cliche and this is the appropriate time to be confident enough to spin that damn bottle.

Fuck my whole fiasco of my plan breaking apart, its breaking apart because I'm a coward. Seeing all the others boldly doing their dares influenced me to do the same. Again, I'm sorry for begging to whoever is listening let it land on him!

I was confused since it landed on Zy then back to Quatro then back to Zy. Yes it stopped multiple times and moved on its own. I did not touch it after spinning! I don't think this is about an almighty being answering my pleas, there is a ghost!

Surely there was since both Zy and Quatro looked ghostly pale.

"It landed on me," Quatro argued.

"You can see the opening of the bottle pointing at me," Para akong nanonood ng debate, this went on for a few minutes till Mayi said it landed on Zy therefore the receiver of my dare is him. This can not be a coincidence.

Quatro was severely disappointed, he clung onto me not wanting me to do my dare. I softly caressed his hair while he whined that I did not need to force myself. Quatro, I am confident that I'm doing this on my own will.

The plan was now set in motion, tumayo ako at lumapit kay Zy na nakatulala. I kissed him softly on the cheek well it was supposed to be the cheek until he turned and our lips brushed. My eyes widened, that's my first kiss!

I know it was a brush on the lips and not a peck, still our lips touched. Technically, my first crush is my crush. To the ghost who was listening to me, sorry I have doubted your skills. You're doing an amazing job at making the cliches 101 plan not fail.

Zy was frozen still. His ears were turning red by the second, to the point he had to cover them since his friends were teasing him non-stop.

"Parang bagay kayo!" Gigi giggled when Zy buried himself on his knees, even his hands were red.

A pang of guilt overtook me. I should not have done the dare out of my selfish desires to act upon my plans. He's a real human being and not some fictitious character, he probably is so embarrassed.

I should've asked if he was comfortable first before mindlessly going in for the kill!

Hihingi sana ako ng patawad pero tinuloy lamang nila ang laro. The whole game after my dare was hazy, not only do I feel bad for acting on impulse now I don't even remember what is happening.

I sigh in relief when the final spin happened. I was free to go and run away from my problems. That would be a cowardice move, I need to apologize to him for doing that without asking. I know the kiss on his lips was an accident, but I still feel bad.

What if he's mad at me? Oh no...am I overthinking?

I walked around trying to find him since he ran off after the game ended. I wasn't surprised that he wanted to get away from the awkwardness, I wanted to do that too but I'm the reason why it happened in the first place.

Sure I can blame JC for daring me to do that. Still I had a choice, I picked the worst option.

When I spotted him alone at one of the pavilions, I slowly approached him. My head hung low, ashamed at my actions. With all my might I raised my head to look at him. He was already staring at me, a dimple-showing smile plastered on his face.

I bit my lip, this isn't the time to be thrilled Mel! Even so he did not seem mad. He seemed shy? He was scratching the nape of neck, his smile not wavering. This is the worst time to say this but at that moment I knew I couldn't get up from falling so hard for Sanvictores.
