Y/N

It was Saturday and I finished off my first two weeks of school as it honestly wasn't that bad. I made a new friend with her name is Alexis. She's a biracial queen so that's nice and cool to have another friend. Later on today we were going to have a girls night out with Each other. Go out to eat and probably catch a movie.

I walked into the dance studio where I was at before because the dance instructor insisted on me coming back and honestly I needed to get my mind off of everything that happened with Spencer and even Cam apologizing to me. I placed my things down as the instructor seen me then walked over to me smiling big. "Trending I see" she brought up. "Yes everyone won't be quiet about it" I said as she laughed.

"You're a very talented dancer" She complimented as I smiled. Her attention then went to who was calling her name. "Get ready for class and we'll talk later" She assured as I did as told.

She walked off as I felt my phone vibrate. I looked down seeing

Alexis texted me the time she was picking me up. I "loved" the message then started class. For whatever reason the class to me felt like it flew by. We were soon done as the instructor started calling people to go up and perform the dance all while being recorded. I was watching others, hyping them up along with the rest of the class who wasn't dancing.

I was about to start getting ready to go but heard my name 
"Y/N" the instructor said as the class hyped me up and I just stood in the middle of the studio nervous some.  "Backin it up" by pardi and cardi b started playing. It soon started nearing the part where I needed to start dancing. The person who was recording then started to record as I started to dance.

Through out the dance there was a lot of screaming and hyping up but I made it through thankfully. Once I was done with my dance everyone in the studio clapped and yelled. I just smiled and grabbed my things.

"Y/N hold on" I heard my Instructor say as people were leaving out and she finally came up to me. "I just wanted you to know your school contacted me, uh Coach Baker?" She said in a questioning tone as I scrunched my brows. "Yeah about what?" I asked confused. "They're trying to create a dance/spirit team and they want me to come on board the meeting is Monday morning, I just wanted to give you a heads up" she explained as I smiled.

"That's great! I hope all goes well" I admitted about to walk off. "Oh yeah and by the way my name is Nala" she introduced as I smiled "Y/N" I said as we shook hands and laughed at each other. "I know but I'm sure I'll see you at the school on Monday so I'll see you then" I assured as we said our goodbyes.

I hurried and got home taking a shower then got out brushing my teeth again. I started doing my make up, a glam look which was my go too look. I then started curling my hair listening to music. I was finished then combed out the curls some before spraying hair spray on it.

I went into my room beginning to get dressed

I then slid on a pair of silver bejeweled sandals grabbed my purse as there was a honk outside. "Momma I'm leaving" I said before walking out the door. I got into Alexis's passengers seat of her Benz. "Ooo this is nice" I dragged out making her laugh. "Thanks it was a birthday present this year" she said as I placed my seatbelt. "So you want to do the movie first or food?" She asked "movie" I said as we were talking and joking around on our way to the movie theaters. The crazy thing is I really clicked with her,she was cool as hell.

We got to the theater as we were walking in "so what's going on with you and your dating life?" She asked "it ceases to exist"  I admitted waiting in line. "What about you?" I questioned "well I'm talking to Christian" She started  "on the football team?" I asked as she smiled And nodded. "I knew something was up" I expressed as she let out a small laugh. "How?" She questioned. "The way He looks at you, honestly he looks in love with you" I said as she just blushed and looked down.

"Awww" I said before we shared a small laugh. "Spencer has been asking about you" Alexis brought up. "What?" I asked. "He knows we hang out so he asks how you're doing from time to time" She informed as I faintly smiled. "He's sweet" I admitted. "Yeah and clearly likes you" Alexis added with a smirk. "No we're just friends" I assured "yeah you guys are but he clearly likes you" Alexis corrected.

I just smiled as we got our tickets "well there's a lot with why him and I won't get together." I said. "Yeah I know Layla can be a handful we used to be friends actually" Alexis brought up as I looked at her crazy. "What?!" I questioned. "Yeah back in middle school we were best friends, once we got to high school there was this boy I liked and she knew about it. One day I come Into school they're kissing and in a relationship" Alexis explained. 

"Awww I'm sorry" I apologized before ordering concessions. "It's fine I just know not to deal with her" Alexis expressed as we seen a couple kiss but then they pulled away revealing their faces. "Is that Asher and Layla?!" Alexis asked. "Oh no" I started off.

"I got to tell Spencer" I said. "What happened to staying out of drama?, do you really want to open up that can of worms?"Alexis asked and she was right because that would bring so much towards my way and I cannot fight at this school in fact she's probably arrest so I didn't honk it was worth it.

But then on the flip side Spencer's my friend and I don't want him to get played and look like boo boo the damn fool out here either. Alexis and I went to our movie then dinner and I soon was back at home.

I was walking back and forth in my room deciding on if I should call him or not. I pressed my contacts list looking for his phone number. I started calling Spencer he answered on the fifth ring. "What's up? You good?" He asked as I immediately let out a small laugh "yeah something is going on with me in the comforts of my room" I sarcastically said hearing him chuckle. "I was just making sure you were okay" he said as I faintly smiled. "Yeah I'm okay thank you" I thanked.

"So what's up?" He asked and I started contemplating on if I was going to tell him what I saw or not. "I uh-what are you doing right now?" I asked. "I'm about to walk into the house why?" He asked. "Are you abled to meet me at the park area of the neighborhood?" I asked. "Yeah you alright?" He questioned. "Um yeah I just wanted to talk to you about something." I said.  "Aight I'm heading over there now" He said as we said our goodbyes.

I placed my phone in my back pocket, I grabbed the dog and her leash before walking Down the hall to my mothers room. I peeked in seeing her crashed out sleep. She's been doing a lot at work lately so I'm not surprised. "Ma" I said shaking her some to wake her up. "Hmm" She hummed. "I'm going to the park to walk Dakota" I informed as she just nodded.

I turned her light out and closed her room door on my way out. I went downstairs and walked out the front suit locking it behind me. I carried her the whole way as I seen Spencer sitting on a bench. I then sat next to him as he just chuckled. "You brought the dog?" He asked. "Well it's like almost midnight out here if I gave any other excuse I wouldn't be sitting out here" I explained as we shared a small laugh.

"You went out?" He asked looking over at me. "Yeah I had a girls night with Alexis" I said as he just smiled then looked away. "What's up?" He questioned. "When I was out at the movies tonight I seen two people kissing and when they pulled away it was Asher and Layla" I started off as I finally looked over at him and his whole demeanor changed.

"I didn't want to be the one to tell you, I actually wanted to sit this one out but you're my friend and I can't sit there and watch my friend get played." I explained then looked over at him. He then looked down at his hands "I picked up on it but chose to ignore maybe thinking it was just me" he admitted.

"I know that if I bring it up, it somehow will be my fault and made to feel I wasn't doing enough and then you'll be dragged into it" he explained as I just sat there listening. "So why did you stay?" I asked. "Because like I said before who I want, I can't have" He said then looked over at me as I felt butterflies in my stomach.

"On top of that I was really trying to work some things out with her but clearly it wasn't enough" he said with a small shrug. "Spencer" I started off as he looked over at me.

"I'm sorry, I felt I had to tell you" I apologized. "No thank you for telling me" he thanked as there was a silence. "Well if you need someone to talk too I'm here" I assured rubbing his back some. I then stood up "it's late we should probably get back in the house" I said as he stood up and we started heading for the house.

We stopped in front of my house. "Please don't fight Asher or nothing like that" I asked as he chuckled. "That's still my teammate at the end of the day my issue is Layla" he said.
"Well to be fair we kissed too, we just did it here" I brought up. "Yeah I know" he simply said. "So don't go too hard on her." I said as Spencer did a small nod. "I'll see you at school" I said before going back into the house.
