A huge set of teeth drop from the ceiling, falling right on top of us. Zan quickly casts a bubble shield halting the teeth in place. They begin to chomp heavily on the shield, causing it to crack in a matter of seconds. Kirisai puts his bow away and pulls out his daggers. Zan keeps his hands raises holding the barrier up as best as possible. I sheath Midnight and stand by Zan, ready to move.
The teeth widen an insanely amount and takes one last large chomp at the shield. The shattering pieces of magic fly about as we all scatter out of the way. I grab Zan by the back of his robes, fasten my broad sword onto his belt and throw him out of range from the teeth. I spot Kirisai leaping out through the gap, between its teeth and the ground. Alright time to get serious.
The teeth crash into the ground and I can see several layers of teeth.
I bawl up my fist while spotting a large lump dangling, quite tauntingly, above me. Shifting into my beast form takes little to no time. My magic coats my hand in a thick shell as I feel my animal side growling at the monster. How dare this stupid thing try and swallow us. I jump up keeping my eyes on the target and connect a hard punch to the beast's uvula. From the amount of force alone causes the creature to recoil, launching up into the air quite a bit. I make a break for its teeth and break through, shoulder first, the creature's teeth. It screeches out like a siren and leaps into the darkest part of the cave.
It is stopped short with a few arrows landing into its webbed feet, pinning it down. Kirisai stands with his dark colored scarf raised up, covering half his face, and a set of goggles over his eyes. A dark aura was wrapping itself around him. As if the darkness' tendrils were trying to pull Kirisai down. "Where do you think you're going you sonofabitch?" He probably has that look in his eyes. The look on his is as if his patience is being tested at the worst possible times. He has threatened to castrate Zan with a rusty blade that face, when Zan tried to get all bossy and pissed us all off.
A small glowing purple orb floats by me and I feel my wounds healing. Inside the flame I spot two little eyes staring back at me. Zan's healing ability was getting stronger if these things took on specific traits. I spot him wielding my blade in one hand and his staff in the other. The blade drips of a white icker and something seems off about it.
The beast's screaming reminds me of what is going on. Kirisai continues to plant his arrows into these flat webbed feet. That won't last forever. I leap over the beast and grab its antenna.
Looking down at one of its eyes I see the fear in its eyes. Oblivion is all it will receive.
I pull out Midnight swiftly and slice off the antenna close as possible to it's head. It bellows out louder causing the entire cave to shake. It tries to reopen its mouth and I plant Midnight through its bottom jaw, nailing it in place. I front kick it hard as i possibly can and watch the creature's mouth split open. The arrows pinning it down split it's feet and a black icker splatters about the floor.
"HEY! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?" Midnight was awake and now noticing the fight. I run up and pull it out of the ground and charge the beast. "Wait! We are fighting this thing? Hell yes! Die fucker die!"
"I am trying to kill it. Just give me a second." I keep running and tighten my grip on the hilt. I throw several vigorous slices into the beast until it finally stops moving. My breath is heavy while it leave my body. Zan and Kirisai both seem to be trying to catch their composure as well.

Zan walks to the little girl attached to the cord, who is now just a rag doll, and searches her. It takes him a bit, and we all get next to him, when he holds up a book that is locked with a thick chain around it.
Midnight is chuckling low at this point and I glance down at it. "You morons actually tried to complete this dungeon? Do you know what happens next?" He is speaking through his laughter and the need to run fills me.
"We walk out of here with our lives intact", Zan says confidently but with a slight questionable tone.
The cave shakes more intensively until a massive hole opens up along the far side. I stare back at the beast and inspect its size. The doors to the areas all seem to be wide open. Oh that is never good.
"Yea-no, you pansy ass clown. Now you all die to the rest of these things. Oh and by the way, this is was a baby you guys slaughtered." I could feel a dark smile coming from this stupid sword. It was at this point that everything was in slow motion. The hole was lite with so many eyes, all bigger than the one behind us. A notification pops up with a skull and crossbones, signifying danger at a large scale was approaching. Kirisai doesnt waste anytime and begins to sprint away from this place. Zan stands completely still like a statue, as if petrified. I pivot and scoop him up over my shoulder and make a break for it, like a bat out of hell. I refuse to look back as the cave begins to collapse and the sound of giant beasts following us grows closer. A strong tingle on the back of my neck goes off, meaning that something dangerous is on my heels. I tilt my head back a bit and spot a series of teeth. It was like peeling into garbage disposal that would never ends. I force my feet to move faster out of the fear of being swept into that abyss.
We clear floor after floor all the way to the main gate, that sits wide open.
Daylight is brighter than it normally seems. We exit the cave, and continue on a few extra feet for good measure, before stopping to look back. The horde rushes out of the cave and from the sheer blast of the evening light they evaporate into small piles of ash. I set Zan down and brace my back against a tree, breathing heavily as if my lungs were on fire. I revert to my base form as Zan stands up, dusts himself off then places his hands on his hips. A small surge of pain runs through me once my body is back into its base form, one of the small side affects of being a faunus. Kirisai is hunched over a rock, trying to catch his breath with some of his gear thrown to the ground.
"That was well worth it", I hear Zan say in a clear voice. I look up at him and see a huge cheesy grin on his face as he holds out his book. I shake my head and refuse to look at him.
"Now all we have to do is go back in and kill those things until I have enough to complete another quest."
I'm sorry. What did he just say? I exhale slowly and stand up a bit. I feel Kirisai reach down and pick up one of his knives. I pin him to a wide oak tree with a firm hand on his chest. Kirisai throws the blade and it lands inches next to his face.
The air is still as Zan begins to sweat a bit.
"Um, how about we lay off the quests and go for a drink?" Zan tries to sound as convincing as possible. I let him go, we regroup with Ray, who is questioning me on what she missed. The trip into town Kirisai tells, in the best details he can provide, of what happened.
