Prompt- Liam has a fainting disorder and he's on medication for it but he loses them and has an episode (faints over and over again) and the boys have to figure out what to do.

Liam's pov

We are half way through our up all night tour. Ever since I was a child I have had episodes where I faint for no reason what so ever so my mum took me to the hospital to get checked out and I have a condition that I am on medication to control. They don't know exactly what it is. I have been to many different doctors to try and figure out what it is but the medication I am on is working. I haven't had a fainting episode since I was 14. I have told the boys about it when we were on the x-factor just in case something was to happen so they knew.

Niall has been very protective of me since we have been together since half way through the x-factor when the boys dared us to kiss. We did and we have been together ever since. We are not allowed to come out though. We are currently getting off the plane in New York. I make sure my medication is in the bag and Niall says to me concerned "You alright babe?" I nod and say "I was just checking to see if I still had my medication which I do" Niall nods and says "Let's go then babe" I nod and we leave the plane. As we leave the plane we get mobbed. I feel something fall out of my bag but we get rushed into the van.

As soon as we are all in the van and strapped in the driver drives off. I look in my bag and realise that my medication isn't in my bag. My eyes widen as I realise that is what fell out of my bag. I start to panic knowing I am due for my next dose now. Niall says to me "Li you need your medication." I nod and say "I can't find it" Niall says "What you said it was in your bag before." I nod and say "Whilst we were in the fans I felt something fall but I couldn't check what fell because we got rushed in here by security" tears quickly fill my eyes and Niall instantly hugs me and says "Don't worry about it Li" I nod.

Once we are back to the hotel. I see loads of fans. Paul says "I'm sorry boys. Management wants you to go by the fans at the front entrance. Louis says "Liam has lost his medication though. I don't want him fainting in the middle of a crowd" Paul sighs and says "I told management that but they didn't care. We just need to make sure that Liam has people ether side of him and we need to try and get in quickly before anything does happen." We all get out of the car and we are met by screaming. I am trying not to faint. We start to walk through the fans. I have Niall and Paul walking ether side of me and I am gripping onto their hands for support.

Niall's pov

Liam is struggling. He is about to faint I feel Liam tug on my hand before he lets go and I look round and see Liam on the floor unconscious. Paul picks him up and carries him to the lobby of the hotel quickly. I quickly follow behind and see Paul has put Liam on the sofa and he is starting to come round. I take his hand and ask him "You alright babe?" He shakes his head and says breathlessly "I feel faint." He slowly looses consciousness again. I tap his cheek and say "Li wake up babe." I look out towards the fans and see them trying to get in. I say more urgently "Li please wake up. We need to get you somewhere more private." Liam's eyes open and Paul says "Louis Niall you boys support Liam up to Liam and Niall's room. Harry you take the front and Zayn you take the back. We need to get Liam up to the room now before the fans get in." We all nod and me and Louis helps Liam up and we support him over to the lift.

When we get to the lifts I feel him slump as he faints again Louis and I gently lower him to the ground and I gently tap his cheek as he starts to groan. I say "Keep coming round babe." Liam wakes up and looks around. He says breathlessly "I feel faint. Help me" before he passes out again just as we get to our floor. I gently pick Liam up and we go to our room. I gently lay Liam on the bed just as he starts to come round. I ask him "You feeling better Liam?" He shakes his head looking scared and he says "Help me" before he passes out for the fifth time in ten minutes. I say panicking "What do we do he's passed out five times at least in ten minutes."

Liam groans as he starts to come round. I gently take his hand and say "What do we need to do Liam? Can you tell us?" Liam shakes his head and says sounding terrified "Help me." Liam looses consciousness again I say "Someone call Liam's mum and put it on speaker so I know how to help him. He hasn't had any fainting episodes since he was fourteen" Harry nods and says "I'll phone her" I nod and say to Liam who is starting to come round "That's it babe. Keep coming round." Liam opens his eyes just as his mum picks up.

I hear her say "Hello Harry. Is everything alright?" I hear Harry say "No Liam has lost his medication and now he can't stop passing out. He has passed out six times in the last ten minutes." I say "No li stay awake babe. Try to stay awake for me" Liam passes out again. I hear Harry say "He has now passed out seven times." I hear Karen ask "Did you say he has lost his medication?" I hear Harry say "Yeah we got mobbed as we got out of the airport and Liam's medication fell out of his bag but he didn't realise until he went to take it in the van when we were driving."

I notice Liam coming back round and say "That's it babe. Keep coming round" Liam's eyes open. I ask him "You feeling better" Liam shakes his head and Karen says "Is Liam awake?" I hear Harry say "Yeah he is. What do we do to help him?" Karen responds "Is he laying on his back" I say "Yeah he is on his back" Harry passes me his phone so I can hear properly.

Karen asks "Does he have any injuries" I respond "Not that I can see. Liam try to stay awake for me" Liam's eyes close as he faints for the eighth time. Karen asks "Has he fainted again?" I respond "Yeah he has he has fainted eight times now" Karen responds "Is his legs above his heart level to try and restore some blood to the brain?" I shake my head and say to the other boys "Go and get something to raise his legs up" Zayn nods and grabs a load of blankets.

I gently lift up his legs and Zayn puts the blankets underneath Liam's feet. I say "His legs are raised and he is starting to come round again." Just as I say that Liam's eyes open and he groans. I say to him "Are you alright now?" Liam shakes his head and Karen says "If he passes out more than ten times call for an ambulance" I nod and say "Is there anything else we can do for him?" I hear Karen sigh and say "Without his medication there is nothing we can do to help him unfortunately" I sigh and say "Alright. No Li stay awake for me" Liam passes out again and I say "That is nine times he has passed out now. Karen asks "Has he been unconscious for longer than a minute at any point?" I respond "No each time he was only unconscious for about twenty to thirty seconds.

Liam starts groaning as he starts to come round. Karen says "Is he awake" I respond "Yeah he has just woken up" Karen says "Liam darling. Are you alright?" He starts crying hearing his mum's voice. I gently take his hand and he says "No mum. I'm scared. I feel faint again" Liam's eyes roll back and he passes out for the tenth time. Zayn says "I'll go call an ambulance" I nod and Karen asks "Has he passed out again?" I respond "Yeah he has" Karen respond "alright. I'll let you go so you can focus on Liam." I nod and say "Thanks for your help Karen" Karen says "Your welcome." She ends the call as Liam starts to come round. I say to him "You feeling better now babe?" He shakes his head as Zayn comes back in the room. He says "The ambulance will be here in ten minutes. I have already texted Paul saying he needs to go to the hospital" I nod as Liam's eyes roll back and he passes out again for the eleventh time.

Ten minutes later still Niall's pov

Liam has woken up. He has now passed out 15 times. He is currently awake. There is a knock at the hotel room door and Louis goes to open the door as Liam passes out for the 16th time. The paramedics gently move Liam onto the stretcher and says "One person can come since we need to know about his medical history." I nod and say "I'll go." We start to go down to the ambulance. Liam starts to groan as he wakes up. I gently take his hand and say "Keep coming round Liam" Liam's eyes open and the paramedics load Liam up into the ambulance. I get in after him and hold his hand.

The paramedics hook Liam up to oxygen as he passes out again. One of the paramedics asks me "Does he have any underlying health conditions which causes him to pass out?" I respond "Yeah but doctors aren't sure what it is. He has always suffered with it. He has medication which controls it but we got mobbed on the way out of the airport and he lost his medication" the paramedic nods and asks "What medication is he on?" I respond "He is on fludrocortisone acetate" the paramedic nods and writes it down. Liam starts to groan waking up again. I gently rub his knuckles. He looks at me with tears in his eyes. I ask him "You feeling better?" Liam shakes his head and a tear slips out of his eye as he passes out again for the 18th time.

We quickly arrive at the hospital Liam luckily woke up and we are going to a ward. The doctor says to me "Wait out here. We just need to check him over" I nod and let go of Liam's hand. I hear him crying before it is silent. I hear the paramedic say "He has fainted again." I think to myself 'That is now 19 times he has passed out" I get a text from Paul saying 'I have requested a replacement for Liam's medication. It should be ready by tomorrow morning at the pharmacy in the hospital you are at" I respond 'Thank you Paul'

After a couple of minutes I hear Liam's name being called. I follow the doctor to Liam's room and the doctor says "We have given him some fludrocortisone acetate on IV so that he will stop fainting. He is awake but very groggy. I will make sure there is some of his medication waiting for you in the morning so he can be released" I nod and say "Thank you" I go into Liam's room and say "Hey babe. How are you feeling?" Liam shrugs and says "I wanna cuddle" I nod and carefully get on the bed next to him. He cuddles into me and he says "I was so scared Nini" I ask him "Why were you scared Li?" He responds "I haven't fainted like that in ages. Since I was fourteen" I nod and say "You managed it like a pro Liam. I'm so proud of you. It must be so scary for you. I know it was scary for us as well. You are so brave babe" I gently kiss his head and say "I love you" Liam yawns and says "I love you too Nini." I say to him "Get some sleep Liam. You earned it" Liam nods and curls into me more and falls asleep.

A few weeks later no one's pov

Liam got released the next day. Niall picked up his medication and Liam always made sure to keep it in a zipped up compartment so he doesn't loose them again and Paul always carried a second box just incase Liam does accidentally loose them again or just missplace them.
