Liam's pov

It is the start of the new academic year. I am happy my mummy didn't have to move again. I am still with my best friends. We are in the car driving to school. Once we are at the school my mummy helps me out of the car and takes me into the playground. We quickly find my friends and my mummy signs 'See you later Liam. Love you' I sign back 'See you later mummy. Love you too.' Mummy leaves the playground and Niall takes my hand and leads me towards the quite area of the playground. Louis signs 'How are you Liam?' I sign back saying 'I'm good. How are you boys?' Louis signs back saying 'I'm good.' Harry signs 'I'm alright' Zayn signs 'I'm good' Niall signs 'I'm excellent'

Once the bell goes we go to our classroom and sit at the front ready to start the new academic year. The teacher lets us in and starts the lesson by introducing himself as Mr Adams. Mr Adams then starts the day off with maths. I have always struggled with maths. Niall and Louis help me through maths whilst Zayn and Harry normally helps me through English.

At break time we are back in our normal area of the playground and I spot the older students that bulled me last year coming towards us. I hide behind Niall and Niall signs to me 'What's wrong Li?' I point to the older students and Niall hides me properly whilst Zayn, Louis and Harry try to stop them. I hear them say just about "Three year threes against six year sixes. That doesn't seem very fair. Oh well" I hear Louis sass just about "Get away from us. Leave Liam alone" I look up and see that they are laughing whilst 3 of them push Louis, Harry and Zayn down." I hear the ring leader say "Grab blondie and I'll deal with the other one" the other two grab Niall and the ring leader grabs hold of me by the front of my top and he lifts me up. I feel myself shaking in fear. I am tiny compared to him he carries me over to the fence and hangs me by my underwear on the fence. Then he punches me in the tummy ten times hard. Where are all of the teachers? I hear him laughing as I feel tears rolling down my face. He walks away from me laughing.

A couple of minutes later I am still hanging by my underwear and it hurts. My tummy also hurts where he punched me. I see my friends running over to me with Mrs Edwards. Mrs Edwards gently helps me down and signs to me 'Are you alright Liam?' I shake my head and sign 'My tummy hurts. He punched me in my tummy.' Mrs Edwards signs 'Could I have a look Liam?' I nod and she lifts up my top and jumper. I look at my tummy and I see a big bruise.

She puts my top and jumper back down and I hear Mrs Edwards say to the boys "Take him to the nurse boys. I need to stay on the playground" I see the boys nod and Niall and Louis takes one of my hands each. Harry walks in front of me and Zayn walks behind me and they lead me to the nurses office. I get on the bed and hold Niall's hand still. The nurse comes over and signs to me 'Could you lay down' I nod and lay down on the bed just as the bell rings. I hear her say to the other boys "Three of you go back to class one of you can stay with Liam." I see the other boys nod and Louis says "Niall you stay with him. He is still gripping your hand" I see Niall nod and the others leave the room.

The nurse gently lifts up my top and she grabs an ice pack and wraps it up in some paper towels. She gently holds it on my tummy. About ten minutes later she lifts the ice pack of my tummy and she signs 'That is looking a lot better now Liam. Go back to class and I will give your mum a curtsy call' I nod and put my top and jumper down and we go back to class.

After school I see my mum waiting for me in the playground. I sign 'bye see you tomorrow' to my friends and run up to my mum and give her a cuddle. Mummy hugs me back and leads me to the car. She helps me in the car and starts to drive off once she is in the car herself. Once we are home mum helps me out of the car and into the house. My mum signs 'Li could I have a look at your tummy?' I nod and lift up my top and jumper up so my mum can see my tummy. She signs 'That doesn't look too bad Liam so that's good' I nod and sign 'I'm gonna get out of my school uniform' mum nods and I go upstairs to get changed.

A few weeks later no one's pov

Liam's bruises healed within two weeks and the school suspended the boys that beat up Liam for a month. When they got back the boys always made sure that Liam was protected and that the bullies couldn't hurt Liam.
