"Wow, look at the time! I have to go, duty calls!"

Drac was trying to get out of this situation, but I demanded an answer to my question.

"Answer me damn it!"

"I didn't hear a question...bye!" before I could even blink, he was out the door.

"You are not getting away this easily" I said to myself, looking at my smart phone, "but he has a point" it was already morning. I decided to go to the old man at night, that way Drac can come along. I lied on my bed and thought of the past...the time I spend at that certain place. I wonder if the place is still the same. The memories turned to a dream, as I fell into a deep slumber.

Unlike Dracula, he was nervous...really nervous. There was no way he could go to sleep now.

He moved around his room, while his mind was constantly thinking of the moment we just had.'All monsters...or just you? ' was the sentence he kept repeating in his mind, over and over again. "Ahhh, I had a chance to tell her and I blew it!" he yelled out, feeling miserable now, "She must think I am an idiot."

"Who would think of you that way?"

Drac jumped at the sound of his daughter's voice, "Mavis honey, what are you doing here?"

"You sounded worried; I wanted to see if you are all right."

"Don't worry, I am totally fine."

"Dad, please don't lie to me...it's about N/A right?"

Drac sighted. His daughter knows him very well.

"We talked and...eh...we wanted to go to somewhere."

Mavis eyes sparkled, "A date?"

He shook his head, "more like a mission."

"Mission?"

"I will tell you all about it when we get back, but for now...you have to trust me. I want to make it up to N/A."

She understood noting, "What are you talking about? Did you do something to her?"

"Not directly. Like I said, just trust me on this. I promise, I will tell you all about it once we come back. Could you keep an eye on the hotel?"

Mavis has never seen her father with such determination, that she becomes concerned. She hopes that he isn't doing something dangerous. Drac assured her, he would return safe and sound. He gave his daughter a big hug, before she left him alone. Drac was pleased, that his daughter is taking care of the hotel, one less problem to worry about. However, one problem gone, another came up.

Jonny got wind of it and he wants to come along.

"Please Drac, take me with youuuuu" he is handing on Drac's leg, while he was walking down the corridor. "If you want to do something for me, help Mavis with the hotel!"

"noooo, please papa Drac!"

"I said no!"

It got worse as his friends peaked around the corner, "Can we come?"

"NO!"

Murray assumed to know the reason, "oh ho Drac, you want to be alone with N/A right?" Drac's face froze. The pack grinned evil now. "Guys it is not like that...I just help her out."

"For what?" demanded Griffin.

"It a favor!"

"For What?!" pushed Frank.

"She asked me to help her out."

"FOR WHAT?!!!!" they all screamed at the vampire.

"That is none of your business!" he barked back.

Frank knows his old friend better than anyone, "Drac...what do you get out of this?"

Drac is tensing up a little, "What do you mean?"

"Come on, what you get out of this. You don't do something for free. What do you get for it?"

He refused to answer.

But the pack saw through it...and smile pleased at each other. Frank placed his hand on Drac's shoulder, "I wish you good luck man."

"Thank you Frank. Speaking of luck, could you do me a favor?"

He shrugged, "Sure, what is it?"

The vampire whispered into his ear, while pointing at Jonny, "Keep that thing away from me and N/A."

"Is that all?" laughed Frank, throwing Jonny over his shoulder.

"Hey let me go...Drac....DRAAAAACC!!!!"

The vampire sighted relieved, "I hope that not another problem comes up tonight."

Who knows....
