In the sky, nightfall came and the moon shines where it shows the twins, Vax and Vex, (idk who is who. Lol) are flying on Vex broomstick above the clouds.

Vex signal her brother with a nods before Vax nod as well and falls off the broomstick and through the cloud until he arrives at the conclave territory.

Vax summoned his wings to fly lower and smoothly to while looking around for any dragons. Soon he landed safely and stays hidden before he sees Thordak and Vorugal are discussing.

Thordak: Tal'Dorei's kingdoms lay broken at my feet, yet my conclave continues to fail me.

Vorugal: Send me, my king. I will dispatch those that threaten you.

Thordak: You have your talents. But with Umbrasyl fallen, Raishan's mission is more crucial than ever.

Vorugal then caught a sense and sniffs around before speaking.

Vorugal: We are not alone.

He continues to sniff until he charges at the stone and destroy it. Revealing that nothings there.

Vorugal: Something was here...

Thanks to the vestige that grants Vax speed, he's manage to escape swiftly in a blink of eye and he continues to scout until he runs into a nest filled with dozens of eggs.

Vax: Oh, gods....YN was right.

???: Yes.

Vax look back and saw its Thordak who spotted him.

Thordak: My children soon will be gods.

Vax makes a run for and the dragon chase after him. Fortunately for Vax, he manage to escape by the a tunnel too small for Thordak. But it didn't stop the dragon who breaths fire in it until Vax got out in the nick of time before the tunnel was filled with fire.

Vax uses his wings to get away from the dragon until Vorugal caught him by breathing ice at his wings.

Unable to flap his wings, he falls down and screams.

1 day earlier...

We see the Vox Machina are facing Raishan who disguise herself as Yennen while their friends are unconscious.

Raishan: Thordak is becoming irrational, insane. He is intent on stripping Tal'dorei of its gold, but not to satisfy his greed. For another purpose.

Vex: What purpose?

The witchers eyes widen and drop his crossbow as he realize what are the gold truly is for.

YN: Oh no, why didn't I see it coming?

Vex: what's wrong?

YN: Gold, extreme heat, dragon lairs, its all connected.

Raishan: It seems like your witcher friend knows why Thordak wants the gold. Why don't you tell them, boy?

This made him become more worried, knowing that she confirms the answer he knows. He was quiet until Keyleth asks him.

Keyleth: YN, do you know why?

YN: Its....its worse than you think.

Grog: (Growl.) Enough of this yappin!

Pike: Grog, don't!

Before Grog could attack, Raishan blasted him with her magic to knock him back but with nonlethal attack.

Grog: (Groans.) Okay. Maybe a little more yappin.

Raishan: Everyone in this chamber shares a goal. The end of the Cinder King. And if you join me, it is a goal we are capable of achieving.

Vex: We know first hand you're capable of. Your kind razed Byroden.

Vax: Nearly everyone in our village dead. Including our mother.

Raishan: Not all dragons are the same.

One by one she takes form of any human disguise including a child.

Raishan: Some can be cruel. Some can be clever. But some can be truthful. Surely your witcher friend knows about it.

YN: All I know is they're unforgiving when it comes to killing a city filled with innocents. You're one of them.

Raishan: Why am I not surprised.

Raishan then turns into her main human disguise where everyone sees a huge curse mark on her right face down to her neck.

Pike: Thordak did that to you?

Raishan: Not exactly. But he will be punished nonetheless.

Percy: So its revenge your after.

Raishan: Not a stranger to vengeance, are you? Then you know it can create unusual allies.

Scanlan: So what did he do to you? Lover's quarrel?

Raishan: Its not what Thordak did. Its what he didn't do.

Raishan shares a story to the Vox machina that she's the real reason why Thordak was freed from the Fire Plane and with a human disguise to pass through the Pyrah without being spotted. She was also the reason who made the soul anchor and Thordak fused together in order to free him as it gave him more power. However, she also had her personal reasons. She wanted to find a cure for her of her curse which she believes that Thordak has the centuries of knowledge.

Raishan: He called himself king. Demanded I find loyal subjects. His Conclave.

Pike: And the cure?

Raishan: There is no cure.

Percy: Then why not slay him yourself? Your magic made him like this.

Raishan: With that crystal in his chest, neither of us can destroy him alone. But together-

Keyleth: (Glares.) There is no "together," bitch! You open that rift. Half of Pyrah is dead because of you!

Raishan: I freed him, yes. He massacred your people, true. I assume you wish me dead, Ashari?

Keyleth: That's an understatement.

Raishan: Your wish will soon be granted. The pain grows weaker every day. But I will see Thordak pay for his lies before his plan comes to fruition.

Scanlan: Plan, plan. What plan? This vague bullshit's getting old.

YN: The dragon eggs. He has a nest full of it at Emon. That's his plan.

This surprised everyone where YN regrettably knew the answer.

Raishan: That's right. He has a dozen of them. A new order of elemental dragons born of his own spawn. When his brood of eggs in Emon hatches, your world will be bathed in fire.

This shock Vax as he had flashes of visions where he sees dozen of dragons reigning down across Tal'Dorei.

Vax: My vision...

Vex: When will these eggs hatch?

Raishan: Weeks. Maybe days.

YN: With all those extreme heat, I'm certain it'll be days.

Grog: I mean, what are we waitin' for? We got the vesticles-

Pike: (Corrections.) Vestiges.

Grog: (Stammer.) They whupped Umbrasyl. Let's charge that castle and whup him too!

Raishan: Ha. You'd be destroy in a heartbeat. You may have the vestiges, but not the one you need.

Raishan uses her magic to show them another vestige.

Raishan: The Plate of the Dawnmartyr.

Raishan: Magical armor that can repel hellfire itself. It has felled dragons before. And it can again.

Scanlan: I don't suppose you brought this thing with you in like a big purse or like a tote?

YN: Or in a present box for Grog since he like surprises.

Grog: (Gasp.) Is it my birthday?

YN: I was being sarcastic!

Raishan: It resides in Ank'Harel. Located by Umbrasyl before you destroyed him. Now another treasure hunter seeks it.

YN: Another? You mean there was someone else who was working for Umbrasyl?

Raishan: Indeed. So time is of the essence.

Keyleth: Raishan, go fuck yourself. Anyone can conjure illusions. This is clearly an ambush. And we are not falling for it. The answer is no.

Raishan: You all agree with the Ashari?

Vax: We're a team.

YN: And we trust each other more than you.

Vox Machina have their weapons out, ready to Raishan.

Raishan: Without an alliance, I die. As do you. But if that's the path you've chosen...

She hold up her hand before casting a magic.

Keyleth: No, no, don't let her do it!

YN throws his spear at her but it was too late as she vanished and the spear got stuck on the wall.

Soon the rest of the people woke up from their consciousness before Vox Machina checks up on them.

Vax: Shawn, are you all right?

Gilmore: Waking in your arms again? (Smirk.) Oh, you should start charging me.

YN: So if Raishan disguise herself as Yennen, where's the real Yennen?

Time skip

They found Yennen in the dungeon and she's now resting in a room where Grog makes sure its the real Yennen by poking her face.

Yennen: Ow! For the last time, Grog, it's me.

Grog: Mhm. Well, then say something only the real Keeper Yennen would know.

Yennen: (Sigh.) Sometimes you wear a crown and call yourself "Grand poo-bah de Mayonnaise" when no one else is looking.

Grog: Yeah okay, that's her.

YN gets close to Yennen and sniffs.

Yennen: What are you doing?

YN: Its definitely her.

Everyone awkwardly look at him after what he did.

YN: What? I'm a witcher. Strong senses. (Fold his arms.) Rude.

Cassandra: Thank the DawnFather she only locked you in the dungeon. It could've been far worse.

Percy: The question remains. Do we dare chase down this armor. Conspiring with Raishan.

YN: The vestige she mentioned does sound like a real game changer against Thordak. But what if its a trap?

Percy: We saw how he destroy the castle with one blow of his fire breathing. If we can get the next vestige, then we may have a chance against Thordak.

Keyleth: No way. She killed Sovereign Uriel. Its a deal with a devil.

Pike: But how badass would it be if we rolled in a riding a fucking dragon? Knock-knock, Thordak. Acid!

Scanlan: Uh, she shoots poison.

Pike: Oh, right. Knock-knock Thordak! Poison.

Percy: If she helps defeat the conclave, that's well worth it.

Vex: I don't like this either, but Raishan could have just attacked us. She wanted to talk. Maybe we should listen.

YN: Yeah, that's how scorpions fool people after they sting their victims. Idiot.

Grog: What does scorpions have to do with this?

YN: What? No. (Sigh.) My point is Raishan could be luring us into a trap before we know it.

Vex: Well do you have a better idea?

YN: No worst than talking to the one who started the whole dragon killing club.

Vex: If she wanted to attack us, she'd already done it. At this point it may be worth to listen.

Keyleth: To a mass murderer?

Percy: Sometimes a stiff moral code must be bent for the greater good.

Keyleth: No! I will not dishonor the Ashari!

YN: Keyleth, wait.

Keyleth jumps out of the window before taking form of a bird and fly's away.

YN: (Sigh.) I hate running. You guys figure out a plan. I'll go after her.

YN jumps off the window and follows her.

Grog: So we all going out the window?

We see Keyleth is sitting on branch of the sun tree and hug her knees whole the fireflies
