*Kaminari Gin's POV*
Warning Gin will be a little OOC in this chapter.

As usual classes had once again been boring with the teacher lecturing us about the Teiko motto,then going over curriculum that I already learned. Heck Daiki and Atsushi were so bored they fell asleep five minutes into the lesson. As I began nodding off ten minutes into the lesson(hey at least I lasted longer than the other two.) as I was about join them in dreamland the when the teacher suddenly slapped his ruler against the chalk board hard.

*SLAP!!* that immediately woke both of them up it even made Daiki fall out of his seat while Atsushi jumped at least a foot in the air.

As Daiki flopped around on the floor for a few seconds he shot upwards and looked around frantically before he saw at the front of the class was the teacher with multiple tick marks on his head.

"I can expect this behavior from Kaminari, but know both you and Murasakibara-san I'm deeply disappointed Aomine-san,but since this is the first time you've ever fallen asleep in my class then I'll only give a warning this one time,this also applies for you too Murasakibara-san." warned our teacher.

"Now onto a important matter at hand tomorrow evening is the schools annual sakura viewing festival and all students who attend this event must wear a traditional kimono. Also there will be a special paper lanter lighting ceremony where you and a partner will light a paper lantern and release it into the sky at sunset, making your fate and theirs intertwined forever."

As soon as he brought up the festival both boys and girls were chattering in excitement at the thought of going to the famous school festival. Some a little more excited than others when they heard about the paper lantern ceremony.

"KKKKKYYYYYAAAW maybe I can light a paper lantern with Kise-kun."

"I know rriiiggghht but I want to light a lantern with Aomine-kun."

"But what about Kaminari? If I can light a candle with him then our fates would be forever intertwined."

"KKKKKYYYYAA!!!!" Screamed the girls in our class at the thought at lighting a paper lantern with one of us.

'After what I just heard there is no way in hell I'm going to the festival now.' I thought to myself trying to suppress my shiver at the thought of going to the festival.

When classes finally ended and since the festival was tomorrow we had no practice for the next two days. As I began to walk out of the school I was stopped when I saw everyone by the school gates waiting for me.

"Kami-cchi what took you forever? We have to hurry up and go to Akashi-cch's house." said Ryouta as he started to drag me away.

"Why are we going to Seijuro's house?" I questioned trying to keep up with the energetic blonde.

"Since none of us have traditional kimonos we're going to his house to get some tailored for us." answered Daiki.

"There's no need for that, I'm not going to the festival." I replied as I tried to walk the other way.

"WWHHHAAA but Kami-cchi you have to come!!! We're all going so do you!!" sailed Ryouta as he latched onto my back making it more difficult to escape.

"Don't wanna."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"Yes."
"No..... Dammit Aomine-cchi come help meee!!"

"Sigh~~ common Gin we're all going so do you."(translation- if I die at the hands of the crazy fangirls then I'm dragging you down with me.)

"If it makes you feel anybetter then we can all stick together and watch each others backs." popped in Tetsuya.

"When did you get here? nanodayo." asked a surprised Shintarou.

"I've been here the whole time Midorima-san." replied Tetsuya.

"That's enough arguing everyone, Gin you are coming with us to the festival whether you like it or not, now would you rather come with us to my house willingly or will we have to resort to force." asked Seijuro.

Well long story short Seijuro said that if Atsushi could catch me he would have his personal chefs make him a whole cake. So after being chased around by Atsushi for a good five minutes before both he and Daiki teamed up and caught me.

Right now we're all taking turns for the tailor to take measurements for the kimonos. When it was finally my turn the others had to hold me still because I kept trying to ruin the measurements.

"Your trying to make this extremely difficult aren't you Gin." said a annoyed Seijuro as he tried to keep my left leg still.

"Common Gin-kun we're going so try and not to not make a big deal out of this." complained Tetsuya as he tried to keep my right leg still(but he was failing miserbally he weighs like nothing.)

"Yeah think about all of the girls in our class they seemed very excited." added Ryouta as he restrained my right arm.

"Listen to him Gin stop being so difficult." said a slightly tired Daiki as he held back my left arm.

"Hhmm think about all the food that's going to be there." added in Atsushi from behind me.

"Alright I'm all done with the measurements you can release him know,what colors do you want the kimono be?." asked the tailor.

"Black and outlined in orange." I answered.

"See that wasn't so bad nanodayo."

"But you didn't help Midorima-cchi, Kami-cchi is really strong!!" complained Ryouta as they all let me go.

"Man you guys don't give up do you?" I tiredly asked them as I flopped onto a near by couch.

"As the student council president I must show up to school events, and if I go down then I'm taking all of you with me *SNAP!*" Seijuro threatened us as he waved his scissors in front of him.

'Scary!!" we all thought.
"Wait are those my scissors?" I thought as I checked my pockets only to see that they were gone.

"Sigh~ fine if you guys want me to go so badly then I'll see you guys tomorrow." I told them as I got up and began to leave the room but was sudden stopped when Seijuro grabbed my elbow.

"Not so fast Gin, to make sure that you go to the festival tomorrow you'll be staying at my house tonight so that we *glares at the others as they try to leave.* can make sure that you show up for school tomorrow."

"Is this really necessary Seijuro, I would never lie to anyone of you. In fact when was the last time I lied to someone." I know I lied a lot but I leaded a distraction.

"You lied just today when you told the teacher you didn't do your homework because the doctor(who) showed up on your front door step." deadpanned Seijuro.

"Also you lied just yesterday when you went back for thirds,and when the lunch lady said no you told her it was only your first serving." said Atsushi.

"And the day before that you told the teacher you were abducted by aliens and that's was why you missed a week of school." added Daiki.

"Akashi-kun he's trying to escape."warned kuroko.

'Damn you Tetsuya." I cursed him in my head as the others dragged me back into the room.

After that whole fiasco was over and I promised that I wouldn't try to escape again the rest of the day went as normal as it possibly can be. When we all woke up the next morning(in separate rooms.) I'm quiet sure I almost killed Shintarou and Seijuro when they came into my room towarke me up this morning.

As we made our way to school fifteen minutes late I could tell that both Seijuro and Shintarou both had headaches while the other three looked ready to drop dead at how tired they were.

"What's your excuse this time Kaminari-san,and why are the others late with you?" asked the teacher as he rubbed the bridge of his nose.

"It's a funny Sensei, you see I didn't want to go to the school festival but these people behind me *points at the GOM* decided to kidnap me and hold me hostage." I told him with a straight face.

"Sigh~ Kaminari this has to be one of your most ridiculous excuses yet. Just take you seat so that I can start teaching."
signed the teacher as he pointed at my seat by the others.

(Don't ask me how Seijuro did it but somehow he Was able to 'convince' our teacher to let all of us sit by each other. Right now I'm between Atsushi and Ryouta at our table while Shintarou and Seijuro sit in front of
us and last but not least Tetsuya and Daiki are sitting behind us.)

I tried to tell the teacher I was telling the truth(for the first rime.) but was stopped when a hand covered my mouth and two others looped themselves in my arms.

"Sorry Sensei Gin hasn't been feeling well this morning we'll escort(drag) him to his seat." said Seijuro as he kepted his hand on my mouth.

As he said that the people on both my sides(Atsushi, and Ryouta.) grabbed me back to my seat.

Throughout the whole class periods I could hear the girls in our class plot (evil) plans in order for them to light a lantern with one of us. Furthermore my friends have not left my sides for a single second,even when we went to lunch they had me boxed in between them(heck I think one of them followed me into the bathroom.) as the school day finally ended we all went back to Seijuro's house.

Like the others mine was a just a simple black with little white lines going up and down the kimono while the obi was orange(the kimono of the others are in the picture) and to top it off a pair of traditional(uncomfortable) Japanese sandals.

When we arrived at the festival,it was already packed full of students and their family members.

"What should we do first Akashi-cchi?" asked Ryouta as he looked around excitedly.

"Hhmm since we dragged you here Gin,you can decide what we should do first." suggested Seijuro.

"I'm pretty hungry lets look around for some food vendors." I said as my stomach began to growl.

"Aka-chin wouldn't let me bring my snacks~" whined Atsushi as he grabbed the sleeve of my kimono and started to drag me towards where the food was.

"Wwhha wait for me!!" wailed Ryouta.

"Not so fast nanodayo!!" yelled a annoyed Shintarou.

As the others finally caught up to us me and Atsushi had already ordered almost everything we could find.

"How can you guys eat/buy so much food." said a amazed Daiki.

"Eehh? Oh Gin-chin played for all of the food." answered Atsushi as he ate some fried squid.

"Kami-cchi that takoyaki looks good. Can I try some?" asked Ryouta as his eyes started to sparkle.

"Sure you can have one." I told him as I was about to eat another one.

I expected him to grab one from the box that they were in but he grabbed my hand that was inches away from mouth and ate the takoyaki.

"Hey I was going to eat that one Baka." I said irritated that he ate the one I was going to eat.

"Sorry Kami-cchi...... Oohh lets go check out that stand!" he said excitedly before dragging me towards a booth.

The festival was pretty fun and I found out some interesting stuff about my teammates. First was that Tetsuya was great at catching gold fish while Daiki sucked at it. Another was not to let Atsushi ever play whack-a-mole ever again. He almost broke the poor machine when one of the moles wouldn't go down. While Shintarou was usually the calm one in our group there are some things that can set him off. One of the classes decided to do card reading and stuff like that when this happened.

"Your cards say that you will have terrible luck today."

"That is impossible oha-asa said that cancers will have great lucky today." argued Shintarou.

"But the cards don't lie."
"Neither does oha-asa."
"Who are you going to believe your own classmate, or someone you don't even know."

"Your in my class?"
"YES my table is right next to yours."

"Whether or not your my classmate is irrelevant I follow the path of destiny.(Oha-Asa)"

"Why did we bring Midorima here is something like this was going to happen?" questioned Tetsuya.

"Ssshhh I'm trying to record this Kuroko-cchi."

After Ryouta got most of it on camera we finally dragged Shintarou out of there when the guy looked like he was about to punch him. We had awhile until the paper lantern ceremony so we decided to play some games.

Right now I was playing a game where you hit a balloon with darts. After I popped ten balloons in a row I got to choose a big prize.

Since most of the big prizes were giant stuffed animals I chose the giant panda.

*CRIES CRIES CRIES*

I looked to my left and saw a little boy crying as he watched his ice cream melt on the floor. I looked next him and saw that his older sister was trying to calm him down as more people started to stare at them.

I looked at the panda plushie in my hand before making my way towards the two.

"Sigh~ hey kid don't cry over your ruined ice cream, here you can have this so stop causing trouble for your sister." I know that didnt sound that nice but I've never liked kids.

He looked at the stuffed animal in my hand with tearful eyes before lunged at it ripping it out of my hand.

As he finally calmed down I got a better look at the sister and saw that she was in my class.

"Thank you so muck Kaminari-kun my name is Sachi, I really appreciate your help." she side nervously as her cheeks turns a light red.

"It's no problem Sachi." I told her as I tried to walk away,but was stopped when she grabbed the sleeve of my kimono.

"Wait Kaminari-kun!! I was... Wondering.... If maybe...you would like to... Do the Paper lantern ceremony with me?" she asked me shyly looking down.

I was about to say no too her until someone dragged me away from her. I looked to my side and saw that it was Seijuro was the one that pulled me away(he must be pretty strong.) while the others had gathered around me.

"My apologies Sachi but Gin already promised that to someone else." Said Seijuro with that polite/threatening smile on his face.

As he dragged me away here I couldn't help but feel slightly annoyed at them, even if I was going to say no to her anyway, I didnt like it how they kept making decisions for me.

After we were far enough away from her I planted my feet on the ground making it impossible for Seijuro to move me anymore.

"I appreciate what you guys did back there but I had everything under control."

"We were just looking out for you Kami-cchi."

"I understand that Ryouta,but I was going to say no to her until you guys decided to get involved."

"I don't think you knew who that girl was Gin-kun."

"What do you mean Tetsuya?"
"That girl Sachi is the president of the 'Kaminari Gin fan club.' and there are some rumors about her being crazy." replied Tetsuya.

"What Tetsuya is trying to say even if you did say no too her she would have continued to insist,which would have caused a scene." supplied Seijuro.

"Sigh~ you guys won't let me stay mad at you,will you?" I said with a small smile on my face.

"Of course not we're your friends your not going to get rid of us that easily.... Oh before we forget Murasakibara show Gin what we made him." said Daiki as he put his arm over my shoulders.

"Hhmm okay Mine-chin." Said Atsushi as he brought out something from behind his back.

It was a simple white paper lantern but as I looked at it closely I saw that they had written something on it each.

'I hope that no matter how far apart we all are I hope you will always consider us a team.' written in red by Seijuro.

'You shouldn't go anywhere because I would miss your food(you)' written in purple by Atsushi.

'It would be more annoying if you weren't here. So you better stay by our sides for as long as possible.' written in green by Shintarou.

'WE WOULD MISS YOU A LOT KAMI-CCHI!!! SO YOU BETTER NOT LEAVE US SSUUUU!!' I wonder who wrote that in yellow.

'Oye you still have to play a 1-on-1 with me, so we have to stick together.' Daiki wrote messily in dark blue.

'Your not aloud to leave us,so don't even think about it Gin-kun.' Tetsuya wrote in light blue.

As I reread the messages over and over again I couldn't help for my small smile turn into a large grin.

"Thank you everyone." I told them happily.

"Hey I have a idea since we can't let Kami-cchi keep the paper lantern why don't we all take a picture." suggested Ryouta.

"Thats a good idea Kise go see if you can find someone to take our pictures infront of that sakura tree over there."

When Seijuro said that Ryouta immediately dashed away looking for someone to take the picture.

It didnt take him to long to find someone(someone's) which so happened to be a group of three girls.

We all decided since we were all so tall that we should take the picture sitting down.
Since they wanted to take a picture of me with the paper lantern they decided that I should be in thSince it was starting to get windy out it was the perfect time to release the paper lanterns. Since we didn't want to be in the way back we decided to get there first,but because Tetsuya is a lot slower than us I had to carry him the whole way there.

As we all waited for it to begin I couldn't keep the warm smile off my face as I gazed at my paper lantern.

*CLICK!*

I was somewhat blinded by the harsh glare of the flash when Ryouta decided to take a picture of me.

"You should really smile more ssuu you look so cute in this photo!" gushed Ryouta as he looked at the photo he took of me.

"Oye you should send me a copy of that kise."
"I want one too Ki-chin."
"Not because you look good or anything but send me one too nanodayo."
"I order you too send me a copy of that Kise."
"I would also like a picture of a smiling Gin-kun this is a rare moment."

"Hey I smile all the time Tetsuya." I told him.

"Thats not true Gin-kun most of the time you have a bored look on your face, while every once in a while you do smile slightly, but you've never smiled like this before." he replied pointing to the picture of me that was now on his and everyone else's phones.

I looked at everyone else and saw that they agreed with Tetsuya.

"Who knows maybe I'll try to smile more... If it makes you guys this happy."

"All right everyone get with your partner we're going to release the paper lanterns in ten seconds." yelled out one of the advisers for the festival.

As the others started to gather around me they all started to but their hands over mine or the paper lantern.

At the call of zero we all let go of the lit paper lanterns watching them float higher and higher into the sky.
