We laughed and started our way to home.

When Luke and I reached the house, I looked at him, "Luke I'm gonna sit out here and do my homework." He nodded, "Alright. I'll let mom know so she doesn't freak out." I smiled and walked over to the tree in our front yard.

I sat down and pulled my homework out. 'This'll be fun..' I sighed and started working.

A- Hey Lily! Whatcha doing?

L- Math homework.

A- oh.. well.. when will you be done? I wanna see if we can shift early again!

I sighed and shook my head

L- Autumn.. let's not. Let's just wait until Halloween. My birthday.

A- But.. but.. fine.

I went back to work, ignoring Autumn when she tries to distract me. "Lily! Come here for a moment!" I looked up and my heart nearly stopped. Mama, I call Violet mama now, was standing with our Beta and someone who looked familiar.

I put up my homework and walked over to them. "Good evening Beta Joesph, hello mama." I bowed my head slightly when acknowledging our Beta. "Lily.. you know how you ran away from your.. human parents, correct?" I nodded slowly. Where is she going with this?

"Well.. we have a lot of humans stop by our pack due to the fact it looks like a regular village.. and we had two come and ask if we've seen a girl who looks like you.." I froze. They're here? No.. no that can't be true.

I looked at our Beta, "Where are they..?" My voice shook with fear. Joesph motioned for us to follow, we did. I held onto Violets black skirt. It was soft, like a kitten's fur. We ended up at the bakery which confused me.

"They're in here. Decided to rest and eat." I nodded and we walked in. Immediately the smell of freshly baked bread flooded my nose. I started to drool as I could smell cakes baking.

"Mmm.. mama can we buy a cake for dessert? Or are you making dessert?" Violet looked at me with a smile so warm it could smelt snow, "Sure sweetie, we can buy a cake." I smiled and giggled, "Yay! Thank you mama!"

She giggled and picked me up. Suddenly, a loud screasm pierced the air, "MY BABY GIRL!" Violet wrapped around me protectivily. A lady came running up to us.

She had crazy red hair and wide blue eyes. The man with her had blonde hair with blue eyes. I shrunk back as she tried to take me from Violet. "Lilian come here sweetie! It's me, mommy!" I whimpered and Violet growled.

Never mess with moms pups. She'll tear your throat out. "Ma'am I need you to calm dowm!" Joesph's voice boomed and everyone got quiet. Violet was giving the lady a death stare, if looks could kill..

"Ma'am, what's your name and what do want with Violet's child?" The lady looked shocked when I was referred to as Violet's kid. "My name is Elisia Lincoln. This is my husband, Howard Lincoln."

"We've been looking for our daughter," Howard continued, "who's been missing for months. She ran off because we wouldn't let her go outside." That's not the full truth.. "Well, Mr. And Mrs. Lincoln, this is Lily, Violet's daughter."

"Adopted?" Elisia asked, hope in her eyes. Joesph hesitated and looked at Violet. They shared a silent conversation before both nodded, "Yes. Adopted. Her and her husband found her in a child's home a couple months ago."

Violet held me close, "Yes. She told Jack and I that she was put there after her parents kept her locked up, not allowing her outside." Both of them tensed up and look at me, "Lilian.. please.. is mommy and daddy.." Tears gathered in her eyes and I frowned.

"I'm sorry ma'am.. I don't know who you are." Their faces fell.

A- You sure this is the right thing to do?

L- Yeah.. I can't go back there..

I looked away from them for a second and looked behind Violet. "Oh!" I forgot about the familiar person.. "Oh I'm sorry Lily, this is Jason. My son. You've seen him around, right?" I nodded. I see him at school.

I was sitting at the dinner table next to Luke, Violet and Jack across from us. I was playing with my food when I heard a voice, "Hey, Lils, you okay?" Luke asked. I nodded and started eating. Jack started talking about my birthday coming up in a few months and how Luke's was coming up in a couple of weeks.

Man.. I forgot Luke is older than me. July 18 and mine is on Halloween. I can't wait to see Luke's wolf.

A- I can't wait either! Luke is the future Alpha so most likely his fur will be black.

L- That's so cool! I'm jealous. I want black fur.. but I know that no matter what, I'll love the color of my wolf's fur!

Alright guys! I'm ending the chapter here. It's shorter than usual but at least I updated.
