Over the next few months, Sophie followed both players closely. She watched every Leverkusen match, cheering for Florian and marveling at his skill. A few weeks later, Sophie attended another Leverkusen match. This time, she wore her new Florian Wirtz jersey, hoping he might notice her in the crowd even though her hoped were very low she just couldn't get her self not to have them.

After the match, Sophie once again waited outside the stadium. She spotted Florian heading towards the team bus and waved, hoping to catch his attention. To her delight, he saw her and made his way over.
