Jenna unlocked the door, her shoulders slumped from exhaustion. She had just wrapped up another grueling day of taping, and the weight of it all showed on her face. You followed close behind, equally tired, but the sight of her weary smile pulled at your heart. Without a word, you stepped toward her and pulled her into a gentle embrace, your touch a soothing balm for both of you.

"Shower?" you whispered softly, your hand tracing lazy circles on her back. Jenna sighed deeply, her head resting against your chest as she nodded, too tired to speak. You led her towards the bathroom, the promise of warmth and relaxation a shared understanding between you.

As you stood there, peeling away your clothes, Jenna watched you, her gaze soft and filled with affection. "I missed you so much," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

You turned to face her, giving her a tender smile. "I missed you too, Jenna," you replied, the sincerity in your voice making her smile, even through her exhaustion. The two of you stepped into the shower, and as the warm water cascaded over your bodies, a sense of relief washed over both of you. For the first time that day, you felt truly at peace.

Jenna reached for the soap, her hands moving slowly as she lathered it onto your shoulders. "I could get used to this," she mused, her voice calm and content. "Just us, here... unwinding together."

You turned to her, your gaze lingering on her face before you leaned in to press a soft kiss to her lips. When you pulled away, her eyes fluttered open, and you whispered, "I want this too, every day. I love you, Jenna."

Her cheeks flushed slightly, even under the warm spray of the water. "I love you too," she whispered back, her voice filled with emotion as she placed a kiss on your cheek.

As the water continued to flow, you chuckled softly. "How about a movie later? Maybe some ice cream?"

Her eyes lit up, and a tired but genuine smile spread across her face. "That sounds perfect."

Later that night, the two of you curled up together in bed, a bowl of ice cream between you and a movie playing softly in the background. But neither of you paid much attention to the screen. Instead, you found comfort in each other's warmth, your fingers lazily intertwined as you basked in the quiet, safe space you’d created. It was in these simple moments—of closeness, of love—that the exhaustion of the day melted away. And you knew, without a doubt, that this was exactly what you both needed.

This was home.
