It was the last week of summer break and Charles had been quite busy with what he said to be training. Y/n used all her newly found free time to work on song ideas and reply to all the comments on her current song.

It was becoming very real to her just how successful her music career had become, she was asked to perform at many places and she had interviews via zoom on her sudden fame. She knew one thing though, she couldn't wait to get performing again, she had taken the summer break off to be with Charles but she missed the live audience and the singing.

She was spending this particular afternoon at Lando though. She missed him as he too had been busy preparing for the remaining half of the season. It's all everyone seemed to be doing...

L: So? How's my favorite muppet?
Y/n: Good, I can't wait to sing live again though. Also can't wait to see you guys back in action!
L: Really?
Y/n: You forget I'm still a huge fan, whether I'm dating Charles or not?
L: Oh yeah, of course! So who you rooting for the champion? It's close hey, Max and Lewis?
Y/n: Yeah they're pretty close right now, but Charles isn't far behind... I have some form of hope.
L: I love that! Charles, formula one world champion.

They laughed as Lando tried imitating Crofty.

Meanwhile Charles, Arthur and Pierre:

A: This is perfect for Y/n.
C: You think?
P: We know!
C: Okay cool, then at least tomorrow will go smoothly and hopefully she won't be too caught off guard.
A: How could she when you're going to show her this. Don't worry bro, we worked everything out and what's one more conversation.

P: Arthur is right mate. Relax, I mean you two are really serious right now so theres no reason to doubt anything.
C: Yeah, yeah you guys are right. Thanks for the help these past few days. Let me arrange with Y/n a time and tomorrow I'll finish this off.

Y/n went home that evening and saw Charles sitting on the couch.
Y/n: Hey, how was training today?
C: It- yeah it was good thanks.
Y/n: Are you feeling ready for the season restart? You must be given all your hard work.
C: I'm feeling hopeful.
Y/n: Me too.
C: Listen, mon amour, tomorrow can we have a date? I have something to tell you.
Y/n: Sure, I'll be ready by?
C: 5pm
Y/n: Perfect! Everything okay?
C: Yeah. Just want to spend time with you, that's all.
Y/n: Okay, see you in the room.

With that she walked off upstairs and got ready for bed, Charles slowly followed.
