2 weeks had passed and things were already crazy. One week Zim was looking for a best friend randomly and chose Keef. You weren't bothered by this, since you planned to invite Zim over some other time to get to know him better. Well, if he at least complied. The day afterwards Keef had invited you during lunch to a surprise party, and you agreed to come after school. When it was finally time and everyone he invited arrived at Zim's house, Keef said he would go get him while everyone waited. It wasn't until a few minutes later Keef came out but there was something off. He looked out of it and was following a squirrel until it stopped in front of everyone. "This is Zim! It's Zim!" He said. The squirrel ran off, and so did he. "Forget this weirdo. Do you guys wanna see something really neat?" The boy started to take off his shoe and the other boy ran off screaming. You didn't pay attention though, as your eyes followed Keef until he was on top of the building. The squirrel started to attack him and Keef screamed. Soon enough he fell off the building and you immediately panicked. You quickly rushed to your phone and dialed 911 and stated the situation. Later the ambulance came and picked up Keef.

You felt like Zim was responsible for this in some way or form. After things settled you quickly rushed home and tried to calm down. Then the other week Dib told you a story of how Zim managed to get inside his body and almost deteriorate his brain. This made you feel uneasy again.

Back in the present you sat in the class room as Ms. Bitters discussed The Big Bang. "And you Mary, right where you are, before The Big Bang there was NOTHING there." She then pointed outside. "And Outside where that squirrel is, there was NOTHING!" You honestly had no idea what was going on. "And right under all of your chairs there was NOTHING!" You started to doze off a bit but you snapped yourself awake again. Once you were fully paying attention again, the dismissal bell rung. "Don't forget Parent Teacher Night is tonight, and EVERYONE is required to bring their parents to the cafeteria." As you were packing your bag you heard Zim protest and insisting he didn't agree to all of this. Ms. Bitters of course wasn't taking it and told him he did. Zim seemed a bit fed up and yelled "No, you lie! YOU LIIIIIE!" Ms. Bitters sneered and put in a disc of some sort into a machine and soon enough the chalkboard became a screen. It presumably was taken earlier. "Zim? Are you going to bring your Parents for Parent Teacher night," the recording began. "Yeah sure whatever." Zim said clearly uninterested. The screen disappeared and you stopped staring at the scene and finished packing. "You seem to be making such a big deal of Parent Teacher Night Zim! I bet he doesn't even know what parents are!" Dib taunted. "Of course I do." And with that Zim looked lost in a thought.

You walked over to Dib and started to chat. "Is your dad coming tonight?" You asked. He shook his head. "Sorta, he'll be transmitting from his lab through a floating screen he made. What about your mom?" He responded and you smiled. "Yeah, she has the night shift off for the week." After you responded you heard Ms. Bitters speak up in the back. "You WILL bring your parents tonight." Dib smirked. "Yeah, see you and your parents tonight Zim!" In response to Dib's taunt Zim turned around. "Oh Yes! I'll bring my parents, and they'll be the greatest, most parental parents EVER!"

(This is like literally one of my many favorite lines from the show.)

As Dib walked out of the room past Zim, you followed but stopped to speak. "I really hope you can come tonight. You can meet my mom!" You said smiling. "If that is what normal humans do on this...Parent Teacher Night then I will. And Zim is of course a normal human." You raised your eyebrows a bit. "Cool I guess...See ya!"

Later that night, you held onto your mothers hand rubbing it for comfort. "I know these events make you anxious honey, but I'll be right there the whole time." You nodded and walked in with her to the cafeteria. You noticed there was punch and donuts so you started to walk there with your mom and soon enough found Dib. "Hey Y/N! You're just in time! Look!" He pointed at somethings next to Zim. We're those his...parents? "Oh hello Mrs. L/N"
Dib said politely. Your mom and smiled. "Hello hon. Hello Gaz honey." Gaz waved a tiny bit but nothing else. "What are you kids staring at-oh." Your mom looked at Zim and his Parents. "Is this the person you kids think is an alien?" You both nodded. But Dib seemed way more happy and smiled while he nodded. "Aren't you gonna report it to someone? Anyone?" He said desperately. "No, probably not. He could just be a really good cosplayer. Who am I to judge? I'll leave that to the experts." She smiled and patted his head and walked to presumably talk to Ms. Bitters. "That's a...strangely somewhat credible answer." Dib replied. "I'm pretty sure she knows Dib, she just doesn't want to judge or jump to conclusions. I kinda feel the same way too."

Dib sighed a bit. "I guess I can't argue against that. As long as your not accusing me of being crazy." You shook your head and put a hand on his shoulder. "Never." He smiled gently. Gaz groaned and walked away. Everything was pretty calm and tranquil until you heard a man quite loudly blurt out, "Yup! Diarrhea!" You turned around to find it was Zim's Robot "Dad" and his Robot "Mother" began to unmercifully poke a poor woman. "Oh my god." You quietly said. Zim rushed over and attempted to get his "Mom" to stop poking the woman. "Don't tell me what to do young man!You go to your room!" She replied picking him up and straight up dropping him into a punch bowl. Dib took this as an opportunity to go over there and dump punch on Zim. Gaz followed Dib in that case since she seemed to enjoy him getting harassed.

Your mom quickly joined you again. "So do you wanna go home or..?" You shook your head. Maybe. I'm kinda curious to see where this goes." She nodded. "I'll admit, this is...interesting."

Your conversation was interrupted yet again with Zim's "Dad" yelling "THEY TOOK MY SQUEEZING ARM! WHY MY SQUEEZING ARM!" You stared blankly at the sight. "Yeah let's go." Before you opened the door, you felt someone tap you, you turned around to see Dib. "Your leaving already? But you have to help me! You're the only one who can!" You truly hated to leave and possibly hurt his feelings, but all the ruckus had caused you to get really anxious. "Dib, I hate to leave and I truly want to help, I truly do. It's just that all of this is a little too much for me and my anxiety right now. I'll make it up to you I promise." He sighed. "I understand I guess." You smiled slightly. "Thank you." You looked at Gaz and waved goodbye to her. As soon as you were done with your goodbyes, you were gone and ready to sleep.
