Mahira's POV:

After all those tours and travels with the last one being England Tour, today mahira finally landed in Dubai after wrapping up the work after England rest series and pre IPL work in India, obviously the work is never over but now I have a beautiful view to work from, so I'm not joining CSK for now I'll be staying with my team, i.e, our production management team, and guess what, we're staying in Gevora (guys if you don't know about this hotel, google it right now.), It's the world's tallest hotel and has the coolest pool on rooftop. And this is where we'll be staying for the first few days at least.

Nevertheless, if I were to describe my happiness in words I'll not be able to do it. Finally that thing which brought me so close to these amazing people is starting again. And I'll get to be there on the ground on the first day to cheer for my CSK. We sat on the bus and left for the stadium, since we don't have a standardized work place here in Dubai, all the team based analysis and production work will happen from the stadium itself, they've equipped all three stadiums in UAE with stable machinery and technology. We just had to carry our laptops.

Every match is good, but MI vs CSK is the El Clasico of IPL and we all know it, no matter how much I love rohit bhaiya and everyone else, today I'm so against there team.

CSK won the toss and elected to bat first which was quite a shocker because mahi bhai always chooses to field first, but I can do better than doubting his decision, because trust me, I've done it before and regretted. Whatever decisions he takes, you can just trust them to be the best. So his equal-to-computer brain must've thought something or well, everything, before choosing to bat first.

Since today was the first match it took me some time to complete my work and the match was about to start, I ran to the vvip pavillion where literally everyone was now Sakshi bhabhi, priyanka bhabhi, reeva bhabhi, jaya, imari, puja bhabhi, vidya bhabhi, sheetal bhabhi, archana bhabhi, firoza, sumayya. Literally everyone was there and all the kids as well, it's the first time I'll be meeting Priyanka bhabhi, and oh, the stadium is full, UAE is corona free and the stadium allows crowds.

"Hello!", I said jumping out from the door from inside the pavillion.

"Hey. Come come.", Sakshi bhabhi said and patted a seat beside her.

"I've saved the seat beside me for you.", She said and I side hugged her. How can someone be so sweet all the time?

"Hey mahira!", Sheetal bhabhi greeted me. I've met her before, archana bhabhi, riva bhabhi, jaya as well, rest others I was meeting for the first time.

"So guys, let me introduce her properly. She is my and Mahi's closest and loveliest Mahira, who a lot of you must've heard of.", Sakshi bhabhi introduced me to everyone.

"Yes yes, we've spoken on calls so many times already.", Priyanka bhabhi said and we hugged each other.

"Faf told me about you. Someone Cheerful and sweet.", Imari said and I smiled, I'm yet to meet the boys.

"Yeah. He was super nice as well.", I said to her.

"And also she was my only companion on the stands during the first leg of IPL.", Riva bhabhi said

"Yes bhabhi. love you, it was just us two but we had so much fun.", I said and hugged her, she was my first friend here but after meeting everyone else my bond with her has weakened a bit, all due to my fault. But I promise, by the time we leave Dubai, we'll be best friends again.

"Okay guys, match has started.", Sheetal bhabhi said and we all took our seats, watching Rutu and Faf walk out to bat.

And so the match started, when Rutu was standing there, Faf, Moeen, Sonu bhai, Rayudu, the wickets kept falling and it felt like we are watching a football match, even mahi bhai came in early and got out at 3. But Ruturaj, he was standing tall, smashing a half century he continued his India form. Jaddu bhai went to bat and successfully managed to score 26, but unfortunately Jassi bhai's yorkers didn't spare him, and he had to go back to the pavillion. Dwayne Bravo came out to bat, and he made 23 runs in 8 balls, Ruturaj was still there, so close to a century he scored 88 valuable runs and stood there when the entire middle order collapsed and saved CSK's day, even though he couldn't score a century that day, that 88* off 58 screamed out loud 'It's Ruturaj's time'. I'm awaiting a centure though, hopefully we'll see one from his bat.

And when we thought CSK didn't perform well, MI was no less, maybe the pitch was the problem but, no one except Tiwary was able to cross even 20, and so, ended up in 136, and my CSK won the match, we all cheered for our team together and it felt so wholesome.

Without a doubt, Rutu was the man of the match, who I'm so excited to meet by the way. The post match presentation was currently going on and I went inside now with the rest of the ladies, to be greeted by the kids who decided to skip the match today and just play with each othed. It was my first time meeting Rio and Gracia.

"Mahira!", Ziva ran to me and I sat down at her level when she wrapped her arms around my neck lovingly.

"My zivu.", I said kissing her cheeks, she did the same as well.

"Come I'll introduce you to my friends.", She said and turned towards everyone else.

"This is Gracia!", She pointed towards the girl who looked the oldest after ziva. Well Ofcourse I knew Gracia.

"Hello Mahira Chachi, I met you finally.", She said and I widened my eyes at her, who taught her that? I know Ziva won't.

"Why are you calling me chachi?", I asked her acting innocent.

"Deepak chachu told me to call you chachi." She said and I head palmed. Urgh.

"And me too.", A very cute boy who was standing beside ziva said

"This is Neal. Neal this is my Mahira.", ziva said and he came to me extending his hand for a handshake.

"Hello neal." I said shaking his hand and he gave me the cutest smile.

"And this is my brother Rio.", Gracia said pointing towards the cutest kid who was holding gracia's hand all the while.

"Aww! Come here!", I said to him, and extended my arms in a way to hold him, he held gracia's frock, looking up at his sister like he is asking for permission.

"Go Rio. Be a good boy.", Gracia said to him and he took small steps towards me, I caught him mid way and threw him up in the air before catching him, whiche made him giggle.

"You're so cute!", I said, fangirling over that cute creature.

"And mahira, this is Aditi.", She said pointing towards the cutest little girl who waved at me. And I called her over, she tiptoed towards me and I kept rio on the ground before picking her up.

"Hello. I'm aditi.", She said, with giggles.

"Hello aditi.", I said adoring her.

"Mahira! Uff here you are. Chalo na everyone is calling you.", Reeva bhabhi said as she came to me with Nidhyana in her arms.

"Bhabhi can I just stay here and play with these kids.", I asked her.

"They'll eat your brain, and you'll get plenty of time to do that. Come now, and I know now jahan tum jaaogi ye sab tumhare peeche khud hi aayenge.", Bhabhi said and I looked back at all the kids who gave me a cute smile.

"Shall we go?", I turned to aditi, who was in my arms, she mumbled a 'yes' and we all walked to where everyone was.

"And here we were wondering why the kids have still not attacked us.", Sonu bhai said as he saw me walking in with all of them.

"Because they were busy introducing themselves to me.", I said, aditi went to Puja bhabhi and I walked up to sonu bhai who engulfed me in a hug.

"I was pissed at you ki you met everyone during the break except me, but chalo maaf kiya.", He said.

"Thankyou so much bhai, and I'm sorry main busy ho gayi thi thori, but can I ask aapne itne easily mujhe kaise maaf kar diya?", I asked him.

"Tumne aaina dekha hai kabhi?", Rutu said walking out in casual clothes, maybe that's why he wasn't here, he went in to change. It was so good to see him, we immediately hugged each other, but I didn't quiet understand what he said.

"Bohot baar dekha hai par usse kya?", I asked him and he headpalmed.

"Beta tu itni pyari hai na, tujhse koi zyada der naaraz reh hi nahi sakta.", Jaddu bhai said, and I looked down, I suddenly don't know how to react.

"And oh, main kuch suna, Mrs. Mahira Singhania Pant.", Rutu said and I hit his arm playfully.

"Shut up rutu!", I said looking away.

"What shut up? Batao.", Deepak said. Ofcourse.

"Main tumhe araam se bataungi. Is deepak joker ke samne nahi.", I said to him and he nodded with a smile.

"Faf bro, look at me carefully, do I look like a joker to you from any angle?", Deepak turned to Faf with an innocent face.

"If I were to not see your face, and just hear what all you have to say, then you are a joker from every angle.", Faf said and everyone burst out laughing.

"You have anything to say now deepak?", I said and he just made a weird face at me.

"And even I want to know.", Sam said, he speaks.

"Sure sure. How are you though?", I turned to him with a smile.

"Good to be back.", He said.

"Same, I missed this so much.", I said and everyone nodded.

"Same here, let's finish what we started back in India.", Bravo said.

"And mahi bhai, we want the trophy.", I said, to which he just smiled.

We were in between some fun conversation when a girl from my team called me, telling that we have to leave. Even though I didn't want to, I had to.

"Guys, I gotta go. They are calling me. I'll see you soon.", I said getting up from the table where I was sitting with Rutu, Sam, Shardul and Faf.

"Come with me.", Mahi bhai said.

"Where?", I asked.

"Bye Mahira!", I heard everyone scream from behind me and I waved back at them.

"Arey come na!", He said, wrapping an arm around my shoulder and we walked out of the pavillion, downstairs to where my team was, so he came to drop me till my bus. Saurav dada was standing and mahi bhai dragged me to where he was.

"You want to meet him?", I asked mahi bhai and he hummed.

"But you already met him in the stadium.", I said.

"Bohot bolti ho.", Mahi bhai shook his head and I stuck out my tongue at him.

"Dada!", Mahi bhai said making him turn towards us.

"Yes MS", he said and looked down at me with a smile.

"Dada, main ise apne sath le jaun?", Mahi bhai asked him and I turned towards him with wide eyes.

"Bhai!" I said.

"Yes Ofcourse, she can stay wherever she wants.", Saurav dada said and I deep inside I was jumping that I'll get to stay with my CSK, and oh, mahi bhai personally asked dada, I was so beyond happy.

"But all my stuff is in Gevora.", I said and they looked at each other.

"Do one thing, tonight you come with us to Gevora, pack your stuff, and tomorrow morning we'll have you dropped off to your Mahi bhai. What say?", Saurav dada asked me and I nodded with a shy smile.

"Okay then, I'll get a room booked for you tonight.", Mahi bhai said.

"No no, there's already a reservation under her name, we'll just shift her from Gevora to Th8 Palm.", Saurav dada said and I nodded.

"Yes mahi bhai. You don't worry about that.", I said to him and he ruffled my hair.

"Mahiya, you know, Gevora ka suggestion iska hi tha. She wanted the team to stay there and we found everything perfect, infact, saari teams kis hotels me stay karengi, Mahira has personally looked into that matter even though that wasn't her work. And trust me, iski choices humse better thi. To we went with the hotels she picked.",  Saurav dada said, making me feel so shy. Main itni bhi kuch khaas nahi.

"I'm not surprised.", Mahi bhai turned to me with an adorable smile.

"Yes and then I asked her ki tumhe itna kuch kaise pata, so she gave me a long lecture on how much she loves travelling.", Saurav dada said, and I was just smiling shyly. He didn't had to say all of that.

"I know. Agar 8 teams aur hoti, ye sabke liye hotels suggest kar deti.", Mahi bhai said.

"Mahi bhai, I'll see you tomorrow.", I ran into the bus as I was getting too shy, I could hear both of them laughing from behind me.

Mahi bhai went inside dropping me and we went to gevora, where I immediately packed the few of the things that I had taken out and sat near the window with a cup of coffee to get the view, as it's my first and last night in Gevora. Suddenly my phone started ringing, and I so knew who it is.

"Rishu!", I chirped picking up the call.

"Mahira!", He mimicked me making me laugh.

"Why are you still awake?", I asked him.

"I was waiting for a call from you.", He said and I flinched.

"Sorry, I just got so busy."

"I completed understand, you met your CSK family after so long. Don't be sorry.", He said, oh how did I land up with this angel.

"Rish, I'll be shifting to Th8 Palm tomorrow.", I told him.

"Oh that's great. It's not very far from my hotel.", He said happily.

"Yes. Sofitel is 5.5 km away from Th8 Palm. 9 mins away from you. I know. I have done all of your bookings." I said proudly.

"You always outsmart me.", He said making me chuckle.

"I swear I did that intentionally, Sofitel and Th8 Palm are amazing hotels and they happen to be close to each other. So it was a win win for me, even if main th8 palm me rehti nahi, main jaati wahan to meet my csk family often, aur fir tumse bhi mil leti. Baki saari teams ke hotel bhi zyada dur nahi hai waise.", I said to him. Perfectly knowing where everyone else is.

"I know you are very talented love. So will you meet me tomorrow?", Rishab asked me like an excited baby.

"I'll see. Because kal bhi to match hai, aur agar main nahi gayi to sab kahenge ki iska ab kaam me man nahi lagta.", I said and rishab laughed.

"Theek hai fir koi baat nahi, but try karna.", He said.

"Sure sure. Ab tum so jaao jaldi se. Mujhe bhi neend aa rahi hai. Kal subah shift bhi karna hai.", I said to Rishab as I was yawning by now.

"Yes go. Bye. Love you.", He said.

"Love you more. Bye.", I said and hung up, closing the curtains of the window and turning off the lights, I jumped into the bed when a phone call interrupted me again. I mentally cursed the person and checked who it was.

"What?", I said in an annoyed tone picking up the call.

"WhAt? Tameez se baat kar.", Said the other person.

"Good morning Alia madam. Kaisi ho aap?", I asked with fakeness written all over my voice.

"Better. But first of all it's not morning, and second, main kal Company ke kaam se Dubai aa rahi hoon.", She said, she is a software engineer, in Infosys, Bangalore.

"Oh okay. I'll book a room for you in the hotel I'm staying in.", I said to her.

"No no, I've booked already. Sofitel Dubai Downtown.", She said and I hummed.

"Yeah good, how did you get the room by the way, rishabh's team is staying there too.", I was a little surprised since we aren't offering reservations to general public in the hotels where all 8 teams are staying.

"Arey Infosys booked it, unke kaam se hi jaa rahi hoon na. But I'll extend my stay, jab tak kaam hai tab tak Sofitel me, aur uske baad I'll pay for my own accommodation, so I can shift hotel.", She said, okay, now I understand, Infosys has a goodwill, so no doubt they let them book the room.

"And jiju is staying there too, that's amazing." , She said in an excited voice.

"Yes. Chal mujhe sone de, kal milte hai.", I was too sleepy now, but deep down happy to meet her tomorrow.

"Han jao. Sleepy head. Good night.", She said and hung up.
