Once sunlight hits we are on the road again. My knee still kind of hurts, but not as bad as the other days. We pass a group of walkers, which fly by. I'm just glad that my parents aren't one of those. The car slows to a stop.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"Out of gas." Says Patrick smacking the steering wheel with frustration.
"I guess we will have to walk from here, or find another car." Says Katie.
"Where are we even going?" I ask.
"I have no idea." Says Patrick.
We start walking down the middle of the street, killing walkers along the way. I can actually walk normally now. The medicine that Patrick have me must have really helped. I hear a scream, and automatically sprint towards the scream. I reach a three way intersection, looking up and down the littered roads. I see a boy about my age being surrounded by walkers. I run over and stab as many as I can. Katie does the same thing. The boy stands up.
"Hi, thank you." He says.

I raise my gun.
"Who are you?" I ask.
He puts his hands up in the air. "My name is Cameron."
"Put your weapons on the ground, now." I demand.
"Okay." He reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out a pocket knife. Then his gun.
"That's it." He says.
"Patrick please go over and search him." I ask.
He walks over and makes sure that nothing else is on him. There isn't. I put my gun down.
"You may have your weapons back now, Cameron." I say.
Cameron slowly grabs his weapons, keeping his eyes on me. I don't trust him, and he doesn't trust us. Which is understandable. We invite him into our group, and we continue on. We made a deal that if he tries anything sneaky, he will be killed on the spot. Fright filled his eyes, and he agreed.
