The group ran through the forest and stopped once coming to an open field that led to the center of Amity.
"Amity." Tris says out of breath.
"We need to make sure it's clear." Four starts but Tris starts running towards Amity. "Tris!" He follows her then goes Peter while Lexi stays for a second looking at her old faction definitely not wanting to go back.
"Hey, you okay?" Caleb places and hand on Lexi's shoulder making her look up at him.
"Yeah, I'm okay." She smiles, placing a hand on his then the two hurry to catch up with the rest.

Amity and Johanna took the five in with open arms as long as they didn't disrupt the peace.
Ever since Lexi got to Amity all she did was hang out with her sister, avoid her dad at all costs and watch Four and Katie get along very well.
Four and Lexi were now hanging out with the little kids and Katie. Four had Katie on his shoulders and swinging another kid on the swing while Lexi was sitting a couple feet into the field with a small group of girls making flower crowns.
"All right, everyone, back to class. Let's go." The teacher called for her kids.
"Aw, man. I didn't finish mine." A little girl pouted besides Lexi.
"Here you go. You can have mine." Lexi smiled placing the flower crown she made on the little girls head. The little girl smiled and thanked her before running after her friends.
Lexi got up and brushed off the dress she had on once she saw four walk over to Tris who looked different.
"No, I like it." Was the first thing Lexi heard from four as her and Katie walked to them hand in hand.
The two quickly pulled away from each other while Lexi was looking down at Katie but Katie notices everything, every little detail. "What do you like?" Lexi looked back up at the two.
"Oh, I was just complimenting Tris' new hair" four spoke
"Oh!" Katie and Lexi raised their eyebrows. "Well it's, umm... different." Lexi was at a loss of work.
"It's definitely less hair." Katie nodded.
"Yeah, I don't know what to say. Sorry, Tris." Lexi pursed her lips together before walking away. "Katie are you coming?" Lexi turned back waiting for her sister.
"Yeah, one second." Katie responded and looked at Tris giving her a look telling her to go away. When she finally got the hint, Katie sat down on a rock and patted the spot next to her for Four to sit. "Let's have a chat."
"What are your intentions with my Lex and this Tris girl. You know you can only have one girl right?" Katie glared up at him.
"Uh... there's nothing between Tris and I, we're just friends and Lexi and I are good."
"Good?" Katie's face dropped. "Really? My sister is fantastic, amazing, beautiful, wonderful, perfect... do I need to go on? She is not just good and she has been through way too much for you to be the cherry on top of it all. Caleb calls her beautiful every morning and has a special nickname for her while you're over here looking at slightly haired Caillou. I don't want that for my sister so you either back off of Tris or I'll make up something." Katie inched closer to Four. "And you don't want me to make up something." She threatened then cheerfully popped up. "Anyways, she'd hate you and it's time for chores. You better get moving." She smiled and walked away.
"Good morning, and have a blessed day."
Four thought long and hard about this whole thing. Maybe Tris did want him but he was having mixed feelings about the whole situation. Tris is fine but Lexi is amazing. You'd think nobody could compare to Lex especially not Tris but Four's mind had been a mess. He just hoped that Katie wouldn't make something up and ruin his and Lexi's relationship.
. . .
Lexi was doing her chores in the stables when Four walked in.
"Hey." He smiled as he walked in from behind her and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before picking up a brush to help brush the horse.
"Hi." Lexi replied with a smile. "This is Ranger. When this used to be my faction Ranger and I would ride everywhere together." She smiled petting the side of Rangers head then going back to brushing him.
"He's cute." Four replied. "Anyways, there's something I—" He was cut off by someone entering the stables.
"Alexis?" A familiar voice rung through Lexi's ears and she stopped brushing Ranger. She didn't have to turn around or look at the man's face that spoke. She knew who it was. "I just want to say that—"
"Hey, Four. I just remembered Johanna asked me to help in the garden so if you wouldn't mind putting Rang back that'd be great." Lexi looked up at four then back at Ranger. "Bye, Rang." She smiled giving the horse some pets on the side of his face, totally ignoring the man standing a few feet behind her. "Thanks." She smiled at four walking over to him, giving him a kiss and walking out through the other door so she didn't have to interact with her father.
S**n sighed as his daughter walked out of the stables but he gave four a small, sad smile before walking out the door he came in.

"Go with happiness." The guy behind the counter told Lexi and Four as he gave them their plates.
"Thank you." Four replied and Lexi just smiled.
"I think this is the most I've felt relaxed in a very long time. I forgot how much I love Amity minus my father." Lexi smiled closing her eyes for a second and taking a deep breath then letting it out and opening her eyes as she walked around four to grab food.
"That's great that you finally feel relaxed. I never wish for you to be uncomfortable." Four smiled and gave her a kiss on the lips.
"Yeah. Talk about uncomfortable. I'm trying get food here." Katie butts in and grabs some food and a strawberry off of Lexi's plate then walks away.
"Oh Katie..." Lexi slightly laughed as she grabbed some more fruit and Katie walked over to the table to sit with Tris and Caleb.
"Virtual pathological friendliness with unquestioned passivism?" Peter walked up behind Four and Lexi. "I love this place. Thank you. Go with happiness."
"Peter, I hope you shove your happiness up your ass and stop ruining mine." Lexi glared at Peter just before walking over to go sit at the table.
"Yeah, so now Jeanine is saying that the attack on Abnegation was orchestrated by a group of renegade Divergents and their sympathizers." Peter spoke as he sat his plate down next to Caleb.
"So then they're blaming this whole thing on us?" Caleb asked.
"Yeah. Jeanine needed a reason to petition the council to institute martial law." Four spoke from beside Lexi.
"Well, now she has one." Lexi shrugged as she took a strawberry off her plate.
"Staying here with me at Amity is still your best option for now." Katie stated as she also took a strawberry off of Lexi's plate.
"Who's this kid again?" Peter questioned.
"This kid can kick your ass." Katie shot back. As if he didn't know her, bitch please.
"Ah. Lexi's little sister. I see the resemblance." Peter looks at the two sisters
"We need to keep an ear to the ground. Find out where the rest of Dauntless are. Then we can make a move." Four stated resting his left hand on Lexi hip as he ate.
"We need to kill Jeanine." Tris finally spoke up.
"Oh! Okay, girly." Lexi raised her eyebrows then looked around for an imaginary army. "With what army?" Lexi finally looked back at Tris.
