"No, it's a train. Don't you know?" Zenitsu stated.
"Zenitsu's right. This is used for transporting people from one location to another." You added. Behind you, Kanao is nodding along. Inosuke has his hand against Zenitsu's face.
"Shush! I'll lead the charge!" Inosuke shouted, gripping the hilts of his swords.
"Wait, Inosuke!" Tanjiro interrupted. "You never know, it might be the guardian deity of this land. (Y/N) chan did say it helps transport humans to their location. Also you shouldn't attack all of a sudden." Golden sparks surrounded the Sun user as he spoke.
"No, didn't you hear us? It's a train. Do you understand the word 'train'? It's a vehicle for transporting people." Zenitsu corrected. "You country bumpkin."
You gently ruffle Tanjiro's head while beaming at Zenitsu. "Cut him some slack, Zeni. Tanjiro grew up in the mountains. He's not from the city like us." You smiled. At the corner of your eye, you see Inosuke about to charge at the train. You grabbed Kanao's hand and began to walk away from the boys.
"Why are we leaving them?" Kanao asked.
"You're about to thank me. Trust me on this." You winked.
"Coming through!" Inosuke roars. He headbutts the train, getting the attention of two guards.
"These guys have swords!"
"Call the police!"
You and Kanao have beady eyes as you watch Zenitsu carrying Tanjiro and Inosuke away. The guards didn't pay you any mind since the two of you hid your swords from the beginning. The moon has replaced the sun when the two of you group up with the boys. Zenitsu is yelling at Inosuke for almost getting them arrested.
"Why the hell would they arrest us!?" Inosuke shouted.
"Because the Demon Slayer Corps aren't officially recognized by the government. That is why we should always have our swords hidden whenever we're in a city." Kanao explained.
"Don't forget the public doesn't know the existence of Demons. So no one would believe us if we tried to explain why we carry swords." You explained further.
"Even though we're working so hard?" Tanjiro asked dejectedly.
Kanao nodded at him. You told everyone to hide their swords on their back so that their haori can cover them. Since Inosuke is always shirtless, he stuck his swords in his ass.
The train suddenly whistled loudly and it began to leave the station. All five of you took off running towards the moving train. Then all of you jumped. Kanao gracefully lands on the train first, then Inosuke joins her, followed by Tanjiro, and then you. Zenitsu is running in the tracks trying to get on.
"Don't leave your future husband, (Y/N) chan!" Zenitsu cries. You playfully rolled your eyes and held your hand out for him. He jumps to grab on and you help pull him on the train. Zenitsu landed on you in a compromising position like you did with Genya a couple hours ago. "Oh my! I'm loving this!" He cooed.
Tanjiro roughly pulls him off you and Kanao helps pick you up. As Tanjiro is scolding Zenitsu for taking advantage of you, you smile when you feel the cool wind blowing your (h/c) hair. You also grip Hanabi's pin as you fear it might fly away from you. This is it. Today is the day you're going to change the course of Demon Slayer. You're going to save Rengoku no matter what. After you save him, then you'll be confident to save Leo.
The others headed inside the train when you stopped Tanjiro. He turns around to see you smirking at him. He's surprised to smell nervousness and determination from you. Your smirk soon turns into a smile as the moonlight hits your warm (e/c) orbs making them into a cool color.
"(Y/N) chan, is something around?" Tanjiro asked.
"I haven't forgotten my promise, Tanjiro. If no one dies in this mission, I'll tell you my biggest secret. I'll tell you everything about me." You reminded him. "I got a feeling that I'll be able to keep it."
Tanjiro has his mouth open a bit before smiling back. He takes your hand and leads you inside the train.
I'm coming for you, Akaza!
