You get up from your bedding and stretch out your arms. Today is the day you fight the spider family. You just know it. Letting out a yawn, you somehow made your way to another room.

"(Y/N) chan!" Zenitsu sang. You turn around to see the pissed hair having flowers dance around him. He also seems to be dancing in his iconic lovesick daze. "(Y/N) chan, my Goddess!" He coos. He suddenly is on your face and giggles.

Ah, shit! Don't tell me it's THAT scene! Oh it is, cause Zenitsu begins to give chase. "I'm pretty sure you'll have more fun if you do that to Nezuko!" You pleaded.

"(Y/N) chan! (Y/N) chan!" Zenitsu giggles. That boy completely ignored what you said. Now here you are running around the room in hopes he doesn't catch up to you. You ran into a dead end making him giggle even more. "(Y/N) chan." He sang.

Just as he was about to lunge at you, your hero, Tanjiro. came to the rescue by coming in between. "Zentisu, stop following her already!" He scolded. Zenitsu stared at him blankly before smiling again.

"Tan...ji...ro!" He sang. You watch as he grabs Tanjiro's hands in a lovey dovey manner. Now Tanjiro is running away from the simp with you. "Let's be friends, Tanjiro!" Zenitsu exclaimed.

"Zenitsu! Don't keep chasing us! I beg you!" Tanjiro pleaded.

"Oh, don't be like that, Tanjiro." Zenitsu replied.

"This isn't right!" You stated.

"I know!" Tanjiro agrees.

That's not what I meant. I mean...why was I the one being chased? Nezuko was the one who woke up first and then was chased by Zenitsu. Speaking of Nezuko, where is that girl anyway? She's nowhere to be seen.

Meanwhile, Nezuko is still inside the box playing Candycrush. She has been playing with it all night long. That is until she lost a level again and has used up all her lifes. Now she's angrily shaking the tablet knowing she has to wait a long time to play again

Now back to you.

"Come back here, (Y/N) chan!" Zenitsu giggles. While you're running, the doors open and out comes Inosuke. He lets out a scream and headbutts Tanjiro in his back

"What was that for?" Tanjiro groans. Inosuke lets out another scream and joins the chase. You somehow got spared when you ran into a corner and slipped out the room.

After eating breakfast and being cleared by the doctors, all four Demon Slayers were given the mission to go to Mount Natagumo. Now you're all dressed up in your uniform with the others.

"We're heading out now. Thank you for everything." Tanjiro bows.

Grandma takes out a rock and a block of wood from her kimono. "Now then, for good luck." She smiles. Everyone, but Inosuke, turns their backs to her. She barely made a spark when Inosuke begins to freak out on her.

"What do you think you're doing, old hag?!" Inosuke roars. Tanjiro and Zenitus held him back while you're standing in front of Grandma in a protective manner with your arms spread out.

"Inosuke! For once in your life be chill!" You yelled. This seems to make the pig angrier.

"Yeah! She's striking sparks for good luck!" It's a purification ceremony! Because we're gonna go on a dangerous mission!" Zemitsu explains.

After finishing the ceremony, Grandma has a few words to say. "Always live your lives with great pride. I wish you luck in battle." She bows.

You and the others, except Inosuke, bows back. When you realized Inosuke wasn't bowing back, you forcefully made him bow with one arm. Then the four of you ran and ran. You continue on running until the sun has fully set and is replaced by the moon. Let's not forget about the infamous mountain that's up in view.

"Would you mind waiting a second?!" Zenitsu suddenly exclaimed.

"Zenitsu, what's wrong?" Tanjiro asked.

Zenitsu gets down and hugs your left leg. "I'm scared, all right" He cries. "Now that we're nearing our destination, I'm so scared!"

"Why the hell is he sitting? How creepy is that?" Inosuke wonders.

"Who are you to talk, Peppa Pig?! Don't tell me you're not getting any vibes from that mountain!?" Zenitsu yells.

In any circumstance you would've shaken him off, but you know what's about to happen in that mountain. So many deaths are about to take place and you're not sure you're strong enough to save everyone. But still, you have to try. Even if it's only one life, that's still a big difference. If you can save one life, then you can save Leo.

With a shaky hand, you place it on top of Zenitsu's head. Zenitsu blushes when he sees your terrified (e/c) eyes, yet gives him an angelic smile as you gently ruffle his hair. He can also hear how fast your heart is beating.

"Zenitsu, I understand exactly how you feel. There's a huge chance I won't make it out alive." You stated. Zenitsu's amber eyes widen in fear upon hearing you say you might die. "Even if we're scared, we still have to fight. And don't worry about yourself. My 'six sense' is telling me you'll come out of this alive. So when you find the courage to fight, a certain girl might like your heroism." You winked.

"...(Y/N) chan." Zenitsu gasped.

A sense of dread suddenly overcame them. "What is this smell?" Tanjiro mutters. He then takes off running.

"Wait for me!" You yelled. You jumped up to escape Zenitsu's hold on you. Inosuke quickly takes after you.

"Come on! Don't leave me here by myself! Don't leave me!" Zenitsu calls out. He also runs after the trio. You know what's about to happen! You just need to run faster if you want to save the boy. As you're running, you spotted the slayer laying on the ground. He looks up at you with tears in his eyes.

"H-Help me." He begs

"He has our uniform! He must be a Demon Slayer!" Tanjiro spotted.

I see it!

You took a leap forward and you quickly hook your chain onto your sword. With a quick spin for motion, you spin your sword around in a huge 360 degree. Your blade manages to cut all the strings attached to his body.

"You're free! Now run away! Hurry!" You shouted. The slayer stumbles back to his feet and runs towards you.

"Y-You saved me! Thank you!" He sobs.

You pointed to the direction you just came from. "Head North Northeast and you should end up in the Wisteria House. The people who run that place will take care of you." You instructed. I do hope I gave him the right direction.

"I won't forget this, miss!" He runs off.

"(Y/N) chan, that was amazing! You saved that slayer's life!" Tanjiro praised.

"It's like you knew what was about to happen next." Inosuke added.

"Yeah, thanks." You brushed off. "Now let's go! We have to save as many lives as possible." With that, you took off running towards the mountain. Just like in the anime, only Zenitsu stayed behind. Inosuke felt something weird in his hands and looked down to see threads.

"What the hell is this?" Inosuke asked.

"They look like spider webs. Like the ones that were attached to the slayer I saved." You commented. You look around and see the webs more clearly. Some of the webs have a spider on it. "See? Spider webs." You pointed.

"Jeez, this place is full of spider webs!" Inosuke scoffs. "What a pain!" He begins to shake off the webs off him.

"Be careful guys. Something tells me these aren't ordinary webs." You warned them.

"You're right." Tanjiro agrees. He then turns to face Inosuke. "Inosuke, thank you. You said you'd come with me, and I felt encouraged. That twisted, ominous scent I was picking up from the mountain, it made me freeze a little. Thanks." He smiles. Then he faces you. "And (Y/N) chan, seeing how you effortly saved that slayer made me feel that I would be safe with you." Tanjiro said.

"Oh, I don't think I can keep you safe. If anything, you're the one who makes me feel safe. You're way stronger than me." You waved off.

"Grr... Gomapachiro can't keep you safe, (mispronounced name)! I'm waaaay stronger than him!" Inosuke disagrees.

"Did you just admit you want to keep me safe, Peppa?" You smirked.

"N-No! I...I'm just saying that I'm stronger than all of you combined!" Inosuke shouts. Lucky for him, no one can see him blushing underneath his mask.

Tanjiro spots someone crouching down in the bushes. Time to meet our boy Murata. Tanjiro puts his hand on his shoulder, making Murata jump up in fear. "We've come for backup. I'm Kamado Tanjiro, Rank Mizunoto." He introduced himself.

"Mizunoto...Mizunoto? Why didn't they send a Hashira? No matter how many Mizunoto they send, it won't help! It's pointless!" Murata panics. You quickly flip over Inosuke before he punches Murata.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR, (MISPRONOUNCED NAME)!" Inosuke roars.

"You don't assault other slayers! I thought you learned your lesson last month!" You yelled.

"Whatever." Inosuke mutters. He then grabs Murata by his hair. "Now, tell us what's going on, you spineless fool!" He threatens. You slapped his hand away from Murata, making him yell at you again.

"Who the hell is this guy? Did you forget I have seniority? Th-The crow gave us the order!" Murata yells. He then proceeded to tell them that they were ten Demon Slayers in total. Then one by one they all begin to kill each other without warning until Murata is left unscathe.

I wonder what's Zenitsu is up to? He should be entering the mountain right about now.

Meanwhile, Zenitsu is still cowering in the road. "I can't believe they left me! I thought we were friends! If they had talked to me even more, I would've come up with them!" Zenitsu sobs.

Chuntaro comes out of his sleeves and begins to chirp words of encouragement to him. "Sulking isn't going to do you any good. You have to go help your friends now." He chirps. The sparrow ended up biting his hand when Zenitsu insulted.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! You're not cute at all! I mean it! Not that side of you! I mean, look at (Y/N) chan! She's beyond cute and would never mercilessly attack me without warning!" Zenitsu rages. That's when he remembers you. More specifically your smile. "Ah! (Y/N) chan! Tanjiro and Inosuke are all alone with her! What kind of future husband will I be if I can't protect her from danger!" Zenitsu panics. He then takes off running towards the mountain. "(Y/N) CHAN!"

"Ah Choo!" You sneezed.

"What was that?!" Murata gasped.

"Sorry, that was me." You apologize. A strange noise is suddenly heard making all four slayers freeze up. "Okay...that was not me." You said.

"What is this sound?" Tanjiro wonders.

"There it is again. It's this sound again." Murata whimpers. "I heard this sound and the next thing I knew, everyone started to kill each other!"

"Where's it coming from?" Tanjiro asked.

You gripped the hilt of your sword tightly, ready to face off the controlled slayers. Then you spotted a figure walking towards you. The one figure becomes multiple when the rest of the slayers slowly walk towards the group in a trance. One of them aimed their sword at Murata, which you quickly pulled him away.

"Insouke, Tanjiro, behind you!" You shouted. Both boys dodged their attacks in a nick of time. You tried to dodge in the traditional way, but the blade cut a few strands of your (h/c) hair. So you spin around to avoid getting cut.

"These guys are morons! They don't know it's taboo for us Demon Slayers to fight each other!" Inosuke yells.

"No, that's not it! They're not moving normally! They're being manipulated!" Tanjiro stated.

"He's right! Look at their limbs! You can see the webs attached to them!" You pointed.

"Alright...." Inosuke said. He unwraps one of his swords. "I'm gonna slash them to ribbons!"

"You can't do that! Some of them are still alive! Besides, we can't harm the corpses of our teammates!" Tanjiro yells.

Knowing Inosuke's about to headbutt Tanjiro, you ran over to the boar and swiped his feet. Inosuke yelps as his ass lands harshly at the ground. That's when you notice another controlled slayer creeping up on Murata. You dashed over to his side and swiped your sword.

To Tanjiro and Inosuke, it looks like you swipe at air. But they're shocked to see the slayer fall on the ground. You turned around to face your friends. "Remember, it's the webs that are controlling them! We have to cut the strings to set them free!" You reminded them.

"Shut up! I knew that way before you did!" Inosuke shouted.

If you did, then you wouldn't have suggested cutting them into ribbons, you sweat dropped. Everyone began to cut the webs off of the other slayers' bodies. Then Tanjiro noticed small spiders creeping up on him.

"Spiders?" He mutters.

"AAHH! I FUCKING HATE SPIDERS! DIE! DIE!" You cried out. You begin to repeatedly stab as many spiders as you could.

"Did that girl just speak another language?" Murata gasped.

"Inosuke, if you have some kind of power to pinpoint the demon's location, then help me out!" Tanjiro requested.

"I know you have the power, Inosuke. I'll cover you!" You promised.

You suddenly get a sinister presence above you. You slowly looked up and your pupils dilated in fear. Right above is the spider demon himself, Rui.The way he's standing on the webs made him look more menacing. You know how Tanjiro will get in the future and you want to protect him from that fate. So you shakily put your arm out in front of Tanjiro in a protective manner. Rui's eye slightly widened at your gesture before returning to a neutral glance.

"Don't disturb my family's peaceful life. Mother will kill you all right away." Rui threatens them.

Inosuke uses one of the slayer's bodies to propel himself up in the air. He attempts to cut the webs that's holding Rui, but his swords couldn't reach them. Rui left after that. "Damn it! Where the hell do you think you're going!?" Inosuke cursed. "Fight me! Fight-" He lands on the ground.

"Inosuke, that demon said 'family'. That means there's more than one in this mountain. We need you to find the demon who's controlling the slayers so that we can free them. I'll cover you." You said. You, Tanjiro, and Murata are fighting the slayers to prevent them from getting Inosuke. Inosuke impaled his two swords on the ground and got down on one knee.

"Beast Breathing, Seventh Form: Spatial Awareness!" Inosuke exclaimed. You cut more of the webs to immobilize the slayers. "Found it! There you are!" He announced.

"Cool! I knew you could do it!" You beamed. "Where is she?"

Underneath his mask, Inosuke blushes when you smile at him. He quickly shakes it off and pointed over at the trees."I'm picking up a powerful vibe from over there!" Inosuke answered. "But we gotta take care of these guys or we'll never get anywhere!"

Murata blocks one of the slayer's swords with his, saving Taniro. "Leave these guys to me!" He volunteers.

"What kind of talk is that, Mr. Pissed My Pants?" Inosuke insulted.

"I never pissed my pants, you stupid boar! I wasn't talking to you, so shut up!" Murata yells. He then blocks another oncoming attack. "I know that wasn't my finest moment back there, but I'm a Demon Slayer too! I'll find a way to hold them off. You three go on!"

"Understood! We appreciate this!" Tanjiro exclaimed. He grabs you and Inosuke and runs off.

"Let's go kill these Spider Fuckers!" You exclaimed.
