You immediately started to panic. What would cause Zayn to come to your house at this time in floods of tears? 

'What about Harry?' you asked.
'He...he was in an car accident and he's been taken to hospital.' Zayn stuttered, tripping over his tears.

It suddenly felt as though your legs were about to give way, you felt so weak. Zayn continued speaking although you weren't really taking any of it in.

'We should go there now!'

You just stood there. What if this was your fault and he didn't make it? Everyone would hate you, including yourself.

'No Zayn, it was all my fault and I don't deserve to be there, he hates me now and so will everyone else.' you whispered not daring to look him in the face. Neither of you were up for an argument though.

'It wasn't your fault (y/n) but if you insist. I'll come and see you tomorrow.' and with that he drove off.

Negative thoughts were running through your head. You were convinced it was your fault and you slightly regretted not going to see him, but it wasn't really right that you were there. You decided to go to bed and phone Zayn tomorrow to see how Harry was.

*1 hour later*

You couldn't sleep. You wanted to be with Harry but he wouldn't forgive you now, he wouldn't even want to see your face. 

You woke up the next day at 9am. You had a pretty restless night and only had about 3 hours sleep so you were shattered. You gave in and decided to visit Harry. You knew you wouldn't be welcomed there but you couldn't just stay at home while the person you loved was seriously ill in hospital. 

Zayn came round to pick you up and you both went to the hospital. You didn't look great, your eyes were all puffy and red due to the crying you had done last night and you didn't have any makeup on. When you got to the hospital, Zayn led the way to Harry. You looked through the glass window in the door and were horrified at what you saw...
