Third person's point of view

Seulgi pulled Irene on a dark alley and pinned Irene on the wall to hide themselves to the people tailing on them. The two guys lost their composure and aggressively looked around to find Irene and Seulgi. One of them went back around the alley and he saw two figures on the dim alley.

"Aish. People still do stuff like that on alleys huh?" The guy shook his head while seeing the figures thinking that they were making out in the dark then he continued to look somewhere else. Those figures turned out to be Irene and Seulgi with Seulgi secretly spying on them and finding the right chance to corner them.

Irene's point of view

Seulgi suddenly pulled me here and cornered me on the wall. She was so close to me. Her face was just like an inch away from me. It made nervous, my heart beat was rising faster. I couldn't think proper and just stared at my guard's beautiful face and charismatic actions and for that I swear I was heavily blushing. I tried to ask her why she pulled me here but she gestured me to be silent. She was busy looking somewhere else that it gave me so many chances to just stare at her longer. But before I knew it, I wrapped my arms around her neck and inch closer to kiss her.

I was so tempted at that moment and went out of control of my body and just crashed my lips on hers. I was scared to look at Seulgi's reaction. I'm scared that she would reject me that moment but she let me kissed her. I broke the kissed and looked at her only to see her eyes wide opened and her jaw dropped the moment I broke the kiss, as if she can't believe what just happened. She lost her composure but looks cute seeing it. Her face turned pale as if she's not breathing at all.

"What is it? Do you want more?" I asked cutely. She instantly snapped back to reality. She stepped back and fixed her composure.

"Why.. you shouldn't..Ugh" she tried to say something but keeps on stuttering then just gave up on explaining. She walked outside the alley in frustration. I followed her, she was looking around then just stayed still and face palmed letting out a big sigh after.

"What's the matter?" I asked her.

"I was about to corner the people who's been following us but you distracted me" stating the latter part with an upset tone.

"Now I lost them" She added while still trying to look around. I felt guilty upon hearing what she said. Those people can be a lead to the people who's been targeting me but we lost the chance just because of my selfishness.

'I'm starting to regret that kiss' I thought to myself as I start to feel the tears forming in my eyes.

Third person's point of view

Seulgi walked ahead in frustration leaving Irene behind.

"I don't know where I should be more frustrated, that we lost those thugs or because I didn't kiss her back" Seulgi said to herself then hitting her mouth as soon as she heard herself saying the latter part.

"I've gone crazy" Seulgi face palmed then turned around to look at Irene who was still standing at the same spot meters away from Seulgi. She was looking down with her sad face. Seulgi can see how regretful Irene with her actions and decided to go back and took Irene's hand that made Irene looked up to Seulgi with her tears ready to fall.

"It's my fault so stop crying" Seulgi pulled her and walked her to the car silently. Irene sat at the back while Seulgi went back on sitting beside the driver. But for the past days, she's been sitting next to Irene but she can't hide her disappointment and sat beside the driver.

At Irene's home

Irene sat to her bed while Seulgi sat on the couch. It was dead silent the whole time. Irene was uncomfortable and decided to break the silence.

"Sorry for what happened." Irene apologises with her low voice.

"Is that sorry for the kiss or because we missed the chance for a lead to the case" Seulgi stated coldly as usual while busy looking at her laptop.

"If it's the kiss, there's nothing to feel sorry and if it's about missing the lead.. it's might fault" She added still not looking at Irene.

"How is it your fault?" Irene asked almost missing the first part Seulgi said.

"Wait. What did you say?" Confirming what Seulgi said at the first part. But Seulgi shrugged the question and answered the other.

"It's my fault because I didn't tell you what I was plotting that made you misunderstood things" Seulgi explained.

"I'm sorry" she added sincerely.

"But.. I still have my fault. If only I was a bit sensitive about the situation and figured your gestures easily..and you can't hide it that you're mad at me" Irene said still insisting.

"I'm not mad at you. I was just disappointed about losing a possible lead" Seulgi explained in a calm way, starting to look at Irene.

"You are mad. You didn't sit next to me in the car, you even gave me a dreadful silent treatment and now you're even sitting there instead he--" Irene's words where cut off as Seulgi approached her, held her face and suddenly kissed her on the lips. The kiss was longer than expected.

Irene was completely caught off guard and was surprised by Seulgi's sudden action, an action that she's been waiting to receive. Seulgi broke the kiss and pulled back her face a few inches from Irene's.

"Okay. I..w-will sh-shut up.." Irene stuttered nervously after the kiss.

"Good!" Seulgi responded giving a smirk to Irene.

"I was just eager to get those people behind your case so that I could finally feel relieve that you will be completely safe" Seulgi explained and sat beside Irene.

"If you feel like I'm a bit far from you, you could just pull me to stand next to you or to sit next to you. You're worrying over nothing" Seulgi stated as she lay down on the bed and turned her back from Irene.

Upon hearing Seulgi's words, a smile was formed on Irene's face. Seulgi's words made her feel relieved. She lay down and covered herself with the blanket.

Irene's point of view

'SHE KISSED ME! SHE KISSED ME!' those thoughts ran endlessly on my mind. We actually kissed a few times now. Irene can't help but smile at her thoughts. The feeling was so different when it was Seulgi who kissed me first than me kissing Seulgi. I don't want this feeling to end. It sends electricity all over my body.

'Does it mean she likes me too?' I thought.

'Or did she do that just to shut me up?' Whatever the reason was, the fact that she kissed me will never be changed.

The next day

Third person's point of view

Irene was in a good mood because of what happened last night and was motivated to do well on her schedules today.

"Wah. Looks like you're in a good mood today, Irene" Wendy noticed after Irene finishes some of her shoots. Irene nodded and smiled at Wendy weirdly as if she's in a day dream.

Both Irene and Wendy notices Seulgi standing in a corner. Wendy ran to Seulgi and hugged her that made Irene boiled in jealousy.

"Oh. Ms. Wendy, what is it?" Seulgi asked awkwardly because of the sudden hug.

"Nothing. I just miss my hero" Wendy said and gave Seulgi a peck on the cheek which caught her off guard. She stood still like a statue in shock as Wendy released her hug from her. Seulgi moved her eyes slowly and spotted Irene standing inches behind Wendy.

Irene crushed the bottle of water in her hand with her grip while looking at Wendy and Seulgi annoyingly. And she mouthed something to Seulgi.

'you're dead!' Irene mouthed to Seulgi that made Seulgi cough and loosen her neck tie as she looks away from Irene.

Wendy left them as soon as Irene's schedule ended to run some errands. Irene was still pissed seeing Seulgi being kissed by someone. While walking, Irene thought of something to get back on Seulgi for letting someone kiss her.

"Look. There's a kitten on the tree, Seulgi" Irene said pointing at the tree near them. There was indeed a kitten crying on the tree.

"Can you help the kitten?" Irene pouted to Seulgi as she asked for the request. The kitten was positioned a bit higher on the tree.

"I don't save kittens" Seulgi hissed.

"How can you save me if you can't save a kitten" Irene protested back.

Seulgi sighed and just followed Irene's order. She climbed up the tree to reach the kitten leaving Irene standing near the tree watching her. Seulgi was able to get the kitten but the stem where Seulgi and the kitten broke that made them fell down but Seulgi was able to flip herself in the air and landed on her feet perfectly. She stood up carrying the kitten and dusted her clothes.

"Are you going to adopt..." Seulgi wasn't able to finish her question as she looks up from the kitten to see Irene but she was nowhere to be found. Seulgi looked around but she wasn't able to spot Irene.

She just saw a phone on the ground where a picture of her reaching the kitten was taken.

"It's definitely her phone!"
