Seulgi's point of view

Days passed and it has been quiet. No incident occurred that would threaten my client's life. Irene has been attending her schedules smoothly as usual. Human's personality is really broad. One person can possess various sides that only few can see. That thought came into my mind as different sides of Irene's personality flashes on my mind.

"Guess who?" the person said after covering my eyes from behind. I'm ashamed of myself not noticing the person's presence. I shouldn't call myself a high class bodyguard. I didn't respond to the person and as my reflexes goes, I yanked the person's hand off my eyes.

"it hurts" Wendy whined with her arms being twisted. I immediately released her hand.

"Wendy, what are you doing?" I heard Irene called Wendy. It was Wendy who covered my eyes.

"Nothing. Just playing with Seulgi but I guess it's not good to cover a bodyguard's eyes" Wendy said. I just looked at them and saw Irene's face changed into being annoyed.

"Yah! Why are you calling her on her first name? Since when did you become close?" she shots questions to Wendy aggressively but giving me a 'you better explain it to me' look.

"Since the day she saved me. Right my Kang Seulgi?" Wendy cling her arms on mine.

"What?! YOUR Kang Seulgi?!" Irene reacted but Wendy just ignored her.

"Should we have lunch together? I packed delicious foods for you" Wendy added affectionately asking me.

"I will. As long Irene will come with us" I answered. Wendy nodded and pulled me to the nearby park. There she placed a mat on the grass field and took out all the lunch boxes from her bag. Different food and side dishes were presented.

"Woah! Did you cook all these?" Irene said in surprise forgetting that she felt annoyed a while ago. Wendy nodded then smiling back at me. Wendy handed me the chopsticks and gestured me to eat.

"I made these for my life saviour" she said while looking at me.

"You don't have to" I said pointing out that she doesn't need to do that.

"But I already did. So now dig up" She answered back at me. For her effort not to go to waste, I started eating the food she prepared. Irene was about to get some but Wendy hit her hand to stop her.

"No meat for you today. Only salad" Wendy said handing the salad to Irene. Irene pouted and just ate the salad while looking at the meat. I felt sorry for her but it's her manager's order.

"Taste this, Seulgi" Wendy said. I wasn't able to decline and allowed her to feed me with egg roll. Then we both turned as we heard a sound of something being broken. It was Irene, she broke her wooden chopsticks with her tight grip while looking angry at us. I almost choke seeing her like that. It feels like I got scared that moment but Wendy just shrugged off.

"Does it taste good?" Wendy asked. I nodded with my mouth full. Wendy forgot to bring some drinks so she decided to buy at the convenience store near the area leaving me and Irene behind.

Irene was silent still sulking for not being able to eat some meat and something else I don't know. It looks like she wanted meat badly.

Irene's point of view

I'm not in the mood right now. Not being able to eat the food I like makes me moody and sad. I feel like crying at this moment. Adding up to my bad mood was that Wendy keeps on lingering on Seulgi and this dumb bodyguard doesn't know how to decline. I kept whining on my thoughts but something distracted me.

It was Seulgi who was sitting across me, she pointed her chopsticks with meat on me. As if she was trying to feed me.

"You want some right? Eat up before Wendy returns" I wanted to reject it to play hard to get but she smiled warmly to me that I can't resist her and the meat of course.

"Want some salad?" I asked her in return for her kindness and she nodded and sat beside me as she takes some salad on my container to eat. She's surprisingly kind and sweet to me today even though Wendy keeps on grabbing her attention.

After a few minutes, Wendy came back with drinks and handed it to us. As usual, Wendy lingered back to Seulgi and even asked Seulgi to feed her. I tried my best to contain my jealousy. Yes I'm jealous because I've been gathering my courage to be clingy with Seulgi but here's my manager, doing it naturally. It pisses me off but I'll let it slide because Wendy was just thankful.

"I think were destined Seulgi" Wendy suddenly said with her eyes sparkling while looking at Seulgi and clinging on her arm. I looked at Seulgi to see her reaction. She was just staring at Wendy, blinking a couple of times blankly.

"Yes. I guess." she replied to Wendy. I almost acted wild hearing that! But she spoke again.

"I was destined to save you but only because Irene asked me. Did that make sense?" She added and gestured Wendy that she should be thankful to me than to her. Wendy pouted and shook her head.

"No. It's you who put your life at risk to go back and save me" Wendy insisted but not in an irritating manner. Well, that's true.

'Should I be more thankful then? Because she saved me first and even granted my request to save others' I thought on my mind.

After having lunch together, We headed back at the agency's office to have a short meeting then me and Seulgi decided to head back to the house. We exited the office and took the elevator to go down. I went at the far left corner of the elevator and Seulgi stood in front of me with her back facing me. The elevator stopped a few times to take some passengers that made the elevator full. Seulgi stepped back that made her close to me as she gives space for others but also protecting me from the crowd.

Even though the elevator was full, Seulgi tried her best to give me space but I saw her struggling making her bumped to other passengers.

Third person's point of view

Seulgi was standing in front of Irene when she felt something around her body. She looked and saw Irene wrapped her arms around her body. Seulgi was confused and tried to look at Irene even though her back was facing Irene.

"You said you'll keep me safe, right? I feel safe doing this." Irene tiptoed and whispered to Seulgi. It made Seulgi flinch a little as the air from Irene's mouth hits her ear. Irene pulled Seulgi a little, closing the gap between them feeling Seulgi's body temperature.

"I may not be having a personal space right now but..I perfectly love it If it's you who's next to me" Irene added. Then she noticed something.

"Omo! Your ears are turning red and your body became tensed and is heating up" Irene stated while smiling because she was certain that what she's doing is affecting Seulgi.

"Could it be that my cold-hearted Kang Seulgi is blushing right now?" Irene whispered teasingly to Seulgi. Irene's action made Seulgi gulped and contemplated before answering but was able to let out a sigh as soon the people noticed them that made Irene's attention diverted because even whispering was loud inside the elevator. It made Irene stopped whispering to her and peeked on Seulgi's shoulder.

"Ooops. I got caught" Irene said in low voice and chuckled after but didn't let go of the back hug.

Seulgi's point of view

Upon stepping out of the building, Irene slid her hand on mine. I turned to look at her.

"I feel safe doing this" She stated while giving me a big smile. I don't know what gotten into her. But as long as it makes her relieved then it's fine.

"You know, you don't look like you went to a lot of troubles and danger lately. You coped very well." I said as we continued walking being amazed on how she can be cheerful after all that happened.

"It's because you're here with me" she said softly and squeezed my hand.

"I'm thankful that you're here, that you're my bodyguard. I like that, people who can protect me" Irene said.

"Then you also like your other guards?" I asked just to continue the conversation.

"No. I like you better" I hid my smile as I hear her say that then she stopped me from walking. I turned around to look at her. I can't deny how beautiful she is and every time she always shows different charms that adds up to her beauty.

"I like you, Seulgi" Irene said while smiling shyly to me. For a moment, I thought she was confessing to me but I tried to snap out of my fantasy and tried not to assume things.

"You should be. I'm a top-notched bodyguard after all" I stated and smiled back to her. I swear I saw her lose her smile a little and let out a sigh but quickly pulled her smile back.

As we walk towards the car, I noticed people following us from behind. Two guys wearing all black with cap and face mask to be exact.

"Yah. You're not listening" Irene suddenly whined. I was busy secretly observing those guys following us that I didn't hear what Irene said.

"Sorry, what is it?" I asked putting back my attention to my client.

"I said let's have some coffee before going home" Irene repeated. I nodded to her and she pulled me excitedly to the nearest coffee shop.

At the coffee shop

Irene was surprisingly clingy today; she sat beside me instead of sitting across the table. She ordered coffee at the counter and gestured me to take a seat while she was ordering. I just looked at her while she sips her coffee trying to read her mind. She looked back at me.

"Hmm? I feel safe sitting next you" she reasoned again without me asking any question as if she read my mind.

"You don't need to say that all the time" I said as I drink my coffee.

"I'm just reminding you~" She said cutely then poked my cheek.

"If you just want to sit beside me then just say it. No need to pretend. Nothing's hard saying that" I explained as usual with my straight face and tone. Irene didn't respond but I saw at the side of my eyes that she smiled while looking at me. Then I felt something on my arm. It was Irene who clung to me and rested her head on my shoulder.

"then.. I'll do this because I want to and also to cling to you, lean on shoulder, hug you.. and hold your hand" It made me speechless for how sweet this person beside me can be. She instantly took what I said and bluntly told me that she's doing it just because she wants to. It made me chuckle a little while thinking about that.

Third person's point of view

After having a coffee, the two decided to go home. It was night time already but Seulgi's attention was caught once again by the two people following them. Those two also went inside the same coffee shop as Irene and Seulgi. Instead of going straight to the car, Seulgi took Irene's hand and pulled her for a walk. Irene didn't say a thing because she liked the fact that Seulgi's holding her hand and they're spending time together more like a date. The two guys continued to follow them and even inched closer to them. Seulgi walked faster with Irene that made Irene looked at Seulgi in confusion but before she could ask a question, Seulgi pulled her quickly in an alley on the left with dim lights. She pinned Irene on the wall with Seulgi's right hand beside Irene's face to cover Irene.

"Wha...what are you doing?" Irene stuttered at the sudden action of her bodyguard. Seulgi's face was even close to Irene's face.

"Shhh" Seulgi said while glancing momentarily at the two guys following them being worried as they lost track of Seulgi and Irene. She hid themselves from the two guys to lose track of them and she's planning on cornering them after successfully hiding. But a sudden turned of events shocked Seulgi that made her unfocused.

Irene suddenly wrapped her arms around Seulgi's neck and crashed her lips on hers.
