Bingo's POV

"Come on Bingo! I TOLD you, I found a CUCKOO WASP! My mum said that they're SUPER rare! Come on! I'll show you!", Lila said, jogging backward so that she could still see me. 

I've never seen a cuckoo wasp before! I wonder what they look like! 

"I'm COMING, Lila!", I replied. Sometimes Lila could be a LITTLE bossy? But most of the time, she was AMAZING. But I can't really blame her, as we can ALL be a little bossy sometimes!

Lila pulled me toward a small plant in my backyard. The plant didn't look like much, but it meant a lot to me, as it's where I spotted a leaf bug for the first time EVER!

Lila pointed to this small leaf near the bottom. 

I couldn't see anything there, but I squinted and looked closer, and noticed there was an AWESOME cuckoo wasp there! 

It was a glittery wasp like bug, that was coloured green and blue with small patches of purple. It was beautiful. 

"Woahhhhh!", I said, as I was in awe looking at the wasp. It was SO pretty! I really couldn't believe my eyes!

"I TOLD you it was beautiful!", Lila said, but she didn't turn to look at me. I couldn't blame her, though, as the wasp was truly something out of a fairytale! 

"Oy! Bingo! Lila! It's time for musical chairs and dancing!", Mum yelled at us. Her voice was so loud that the wasp flew away, and we both were sad that it left, but musical chairs and dancing would take our mind off it!

We all made a circle around seven chairs (There were eight people), and got ready to start.

Dad started some cool music and we all danced around. I did some super cool dance moves, and so did everyone else, but they weren't as awesome as dad's dance moves! 

Dad wasn't even playing, yet he was boogieing on the sidelines, and he did one he called 'The Sprinkler', one called 'The Lawn Mower', and even one with a funny name, 'The Funky Chicken!". 

It was SO amazing!

We all danced around the chairs until there were only two players left. 

Banjo and Mackenzie. 

Before they played the music again, we all split into teams of who was going to win. 

If Banjo won, his supporters would get a bowl of chocolate ice cream.

If Mackenzie won, they would get a bowl of vanilla ice cream. 

I wanted Banjo to win, and I LOVED chocolate ice cream! So it played out well! Plus, Dad said he didn't want to be mean, so the losing team would get ice cream too. 

We all stood on our sides, waiting, for dad to start the music. 

He pressed play, and... my favourite song came on! 

So I still watching, but I was dancing with Lila too!

Banjo and Mackenzie danced and danced around the chair, until Dad stopped the music! They both raced to be the first one there! 

But... they both were? 

They both sat on different ends of the chair, meaning... well... they had both won! 

We all ate our ice cream in the backyard. 

Me and Lila were on the bench under the tree. 

"Are you excited for the normal dancing after this, Bingo?", she asked me.

"YEAH! Even dancing to The Lollipop Song during musical chairs was the funest thing EVER!", I replied.

After we finished our ice cream, Dad got the other speaker (Because the one we used for musical chairs had a flat battery), and turned it up SUPER loud. 

He found a Christmas playlist on his phone and pressed play!

The first song that played was one of my favourites, Jingle Bells!

Me and Lila danced so hard to all the songs that it felt like my legs were going to fall off! 

It was a little bit after the dancing, that people started to leave.

First Indy, then Juniper, Mackenzie, Chloe, and then Banjo. 

Mine and Lila's family were the only ones left. Lila's mum called out to her that it was time to leave. But... I didn't want her to leave! So I did the first thing that came to my head. 

"WAIT! LILA'S MUM! Can... Lila have a sleepover?!", I asked. Lila turned to look at me and grinned, as she knew it was the best idea EVER. 

"Ummm...yeah...alright!", Lila's mum replied. Me and Lila hugged and screamed in unison.

A sleepover! Yay!

This is the best day EVER!
