(This is Holden's POV and we have skipped a head to graduation day for Brook and Harvey.)

"Are you ready?" mom asked.

"Just about." I said fixing my tie.

"Where is Lucas?" She asked.

"He'll be here calm down." I said laughing. You would think she was the one graduating.

"I hope...." she was cut off by the door bell. "I'll get it she said.

I finished fixing the last minute things before going to the living room to see what mom and Lucas were doing. I had really gotten lucky my mom loved Luc. When I walked in my heart stopped. He looked  absolutely breath taking. His hair had been freshly cut making him look a little older he had on a nice yellow button up and a green tie. That was our school colors, gross I know. But it some how made his eyes stand out. 

"You look so beautiful." I whispered in his ear once we were walking out to his truck. We were following my mom to the school for the ceremony.

"You look so sexy." He said blushing.

"See you two there." My mom yelled out.

"Okay, mom." I said before getting in the truck. 

"So she's leaving tomorrow, right?" He asked.

"Tuesday, tomorrow she is throwing a party for Brook. Did you want to come? It is a last minute thing." I told him.

"Um... sure." He said looking a little uneasy.

"I have to be there but you don't if you don't want to." I told him.

"I can come for a little while but I have to work at three." He said.

"Fine and when you get off if you want you can come back or I can leave and come spend some time with you." I said smiling at him. 

"Sounds like  a plan." He said I could tell he wasn't to sure about it. Slowly he is coming out of his shell but this maybe pushing it a little. Landon and Lacey have been bringing friends over more and more and he is doing better with interacting with most of them. Landon tries not to bring any around that were involved with the bullying and Lacey is doing the same. But he still tries to stay to himself when everyone is there unless I am with him.

"My mom is letting Brook take a whole month to travel before she has to go to college. Her and some of her old friends from our old school and a few of her new ones are going on a road trip in an RV." I told him.

"That sounds like fun. I wouldn't mind doing that." He  said smiling.

"Maybe next year we can do that. I would love to see the ocean maybe New York and I would love to go to Washington D.C. and see the White House." I said.

"I would like to go to Canada or Mexico just so I can say I have been to another country." He said.

"I like that. I have never been out of the country either." I said getting excited.

"It would cost a lot of money." He said with a sigh.

"My mom is paying for my sister to go so she would pay for me to do the same so all we have to do is save up what ever money we can so we know we have enough." I said know how much he hates to spend money.

"I can start another savings account for it so I know I have the money. Without having to pay rent I have a little extra money now plus I make more at this job then I did at my last one." He said sounding a little better.

We pulled into the school parking lot and it was packed to the gills with nice cars and parents, grandparents and students. Luc found a place that we could park and my mom could park next to us.  The three of us walked into the gym and found seats. I don't know why they would have this shit in the gym it was hot outside and twice as hot in the gym.

The seniors walked in and took their seats getting this thing started. I waved to my sister she looked so happy. We had an hour of boring speeches before the names were being called. When Brook Elizabeth Thatcher was called I lost it and started screaming and whistling. What I wasn't the only one so hush. I am a proud little brother. Lucas laughed at me but I didn't care. I didn't pay attention to anything after that. I was actually ready to go. After an hour of being bored and hot we were finally released to go outside and take pictures and see the graduates.

"You do it." I yelled picking my sister up and swinging her around.

"I did. I am out of high school. I can't believe it." She said jumping up and down in my arms.

"I am so proud of you sweetheart." Mom said hugging her. 

"Congratulations" Luc said hugging her once mom and I released her.

"Can we get the pictures and shit over with so we can leave this place?" Brook asked still jumping.

"I can take the pictures so the three of you are in them." Luc said.

"Thank you, sweety." Mom said smiling at him and handing him the camera.

Luc had taken at least a hundred pictures because a lot of Brook's friends showed up and they all wanted in a shot or two. It didn't seem like we were there that long but when I looked at my phone it had been an hour since we had been outside. Mom finally took the camera away from Luc and kind of pushed in at me. The three of us posed for the camera and then Brook stepped out of the shot and it was just him and I. I loved the shot. He was looking up at me and I was looking down at him. I can see the love in both of our eyes when I looked at it when we were done.

"Let's go have dinner." Mom said.

"Okay, we will meet you there." I said taking Luc's hand and started to head to his truck.

"Hey, Holden got a sec?" Mitch on of my friend that graduated with Brook asked.

"Yeah hold on, I'll be right back babe." I said kissing him really quick before running over and jumping into a few pictures with Mitch and his other friends.

While I was taking pictures with Mitch I noticed that Harvey was talking to Luc. I hugged Mitch and congratulated him before running back to Luc.

"Why can't we just talk? I really do miss you and want to try and at least be friends." Harvey said. I didn't like the sound of his voice it was almost evil.

"I told you, there is no way I am going to be friends with you. I don't have anything to say to you. Don't you think you have done enough? I mean I might have been in a relationship for three years but you sure the hell wasn't so we had nothing then and we really have nothing now. I don't even know who you are and I don't want to know." Luc said sounding pissed.

"Look, I fucked up but we were in high school what the hell do you expect? I mean who cares about relationships in high school they are meaningless and don't last. Do you honestly think that Holden is going to want to be with you forever? Come on Lucas I though you were smarter then that. I mean your a scared little boy that isn't even that good in bed." He said his voice filled with hate.

"Whether or not Holden and I last past high school is yet to be determined. And your right I was a scared little boy but now I am stronger then that. And have you ever thought that maybe it was you that sucked in bed? I mean from what I hear you had many unsatisfied lovers." Luc said making me smile.

"Why don't you just stay away from Holden and let someone that can rock his world have him?" Harvey said laughing.

"Harvey, you are not the man for the job. I already rock his world. If Holden wanted someone else he could have anyone he wanted and that person is not and never will be you so get over yourself and leave us the fuck a lone." Luc said.

"YOU, YOU think you can rock his world? You are a nobody. You are going nowhere. You couldn't rock a boat if you were in the middle of the ocean during a hurricane." Harvey said laughing.

"I beg to differ. I like the way he rocks my boat." I said walking up to them. "And Lucas is my everything and he already is going places." I added.

"Oh hey Holden, I didn't know you were there. Luc and I were just joking around." Harvey said shooting Luc a look I didn't like.

"Listen Harvey, I don't like you. In fact I am a proud member of the WHH group and after what I have heard about you I am so glad I didn't get the chance to be one of the unlucky ones. Luc and I do however get a lot of good laughs at night when we compare our love life to the two of yours." I said winking at Luc who chuckled and winked back.

"Why in the hell would you want that?" He said pointing at Luc. "When you can have all of this?" He said running his hand up and down his body.

"Because, that." I said pointing to Lucas. "Is beautiful and sexy he is also kind and smart as to where this." I said pointing to him." Is not so much. Plus who knows what you have. And you are not my type. The person I talked to online is not the person standing in front of me. You are a lier and a cheat." I spat.

"I am the same person you were talking to online." He said rolling his eyes.

"No you see Internet Harvey was single and sweet, real person Harvey is a cock asshole that was in way to many relationships at one time. Besides thanks to you I now have everything I ever wanted." I said pulling Luc to me and wrapped my arms around his waist.

"You loss, I mean once your with him you will be begging me to take you back. Why do you think I cheated?" He asked. I felt Luc stiffen and I wanted to kill Harvey for adding even more dougt to how Luc felt about himself.

"I know why you cheated. Your selfish, disgusting and worthless. Any man that cheats makes me sick. But you lost out on a really great guy so I am thanking you for being you because now I have the sexiest, smartest and loving man of my dreams." I said kissing Luc's neck.

"Like I said you'll come running." Harvey said laughing.

"Nah, I like it right here. I am hoping that he is in my arms for the next sixty or more years." I said smiling down and a shocked Luc. "Let's go babe, there is nothing here that is worth our time." I whispered in his ear making him shiver and bite his lip. That is one of the sexiest things he does.

"Yeah, okay." He said looking at me with lust in his eyes. I knew Harvey saw it and it pissed him off but I don't care.

My mom's car was gone when we finally did make it to Luc's truck. He was still blushing when we pulled out of the parking lot and headed towards the restaurant.

"Don't let anything Harvey said get to you. He was trying to make you feel bad about yourself and also look bad to me. But I don't believe any of it. I mean I know you are sexy, smart and carrying and to me that is everything." I said.

"If you say so." He said losing his blush and turning a pit pale. I knew it was the whole bad in bed thing that had him worried but I also know that he is not ready to take our relationship that far so how do I convince him that Harvey was lying about that also?

"You know babe, everything that he said was a lie. I can see it is bothering you and I wish I could tell you that your awesome in bed but I don't know that for a fact so I can't but everyone has the same worries about whether they are going to be any good in bed. Hell I am scared shitless about whether or not I am  going to be good enough for you." I said figuring honesty is always the best policy.

"Yeah, but he cheated on me. Did he cheat because I was that bad? Or was it that we waited so long into the relationship to even do anything? I mean we waited a year went at it like bunnies for a year and then it slowed way down to maybe once a month until we broke up." He said sounding sad.

"Baby, if you went at it like bunnies for a year then I would say that something was going right. I think Harvey is truly the guy that has issues. Plus you guys were really young when you got together. When my ex and I got together it was like bunnies from start to finish but he still cheated. So I think whether you are a sexy beast in bed or a dead lay some people just can't stay faithful. With both of us being cheated on we are both guarding out hearts and love, so for us it will take awhile before we are comfortable to do anything like that. I don't want to rush us. I want you to trust me fully before you decided that you want to take that step." I said really not knowing what else to say. I was a little lost in this. I trusted Luc and I know I was falling for him but he is so guarded that I don't want to push him.

"Thank you for that. I do trust you but I don't think I am ready. But I think if it happens it happens I just don't want it to be something that is forced because I am insecure with myself that I would mess everything up trying not to be bad at it." So if it happens naturally then it happens and if I suck you are free to leave." He said with a shrug. I hate it when he puts on that mask like it wouldn't bother him either way when I know it would hurt him so bad.

"Promise me this. If I suck you'll stick around and help me get better." I said trying to show him that whether he was good in bed I wanted him. He wasn't something that would be easy to throw away.

"I promise." He said smiling at me.

We pulled into the restaurant and found my mom and sister waited for us. I told them I had been stopped to take pictures with some friends leaving the whole mess with Harvey out of it. Dinner was great. Brook made out like a bandit with money and gifts from our family. Luc even bought her a really pretty necklace. When we left Luc dropped me off so I could go party with Brook. I knew he wouldn't want to do anything like that so I made plans with him for tomorrow morning before Brooks party.

Lacey, Landon and some of our other friends were all meeting up at Mitch's party first then we were going to be party hopping until we were all partied out. I really wasn't in the mood to party but I was the designated driver. I have three rules for parties. One, never drink anything at the party always take your own drink with you. Two, never leave your drink anywhere or with anyone. Trust no one. And three, stay sober. These three steps will keep you from being drugged, raped or from STI's. I stopped at a gas station and filled the car up and stocked up on different things to drink adding it all to a cooler in the trunk of my car and locking it safely away from anyone that could do me any harm. Landon and Lacey laughed at me but Brook knew my rules. And she knew I would be looking out for her. 

"It's to bad we couldn't talk Luc into coming." Lacey said once we were on the road heading for Mitch's.

"It's not his think, besides I think Harvey upset him pretty good today and might have set him back a little." I said.

"He better not have because he was doing so good." Landon said.

"I know and now that school is out I think it will be a little easier to work on shit with him. We all will have more time to do so." I said.

"Do you think he would want to help with the pond clearing? We have Ethan, Evan and Grant that want to help so they can be at the party. Dad is going to rent some equipment to help us one weekend we just need to tell him when." Landon said.

"I don't know, I will ask him." I said.

"He's coming to my party tomorrow, right?" Brook asked.

"For a little bit. He has to work but he said he will come." I said.

"Good, I like him." She said giggling. Brook had already started to celebrate a little before we left so she is a little tipsy. I hope she isn't passed out before everyone is ready to go.

Mitch's house was already packed by time we got there. He had told everyone to wait until dark because there was going to be a bon-fire. Plus he said all the old people would be gone by then. The four of us walked up to the house. There was people everywhere. All you could see was red solo cups everywhere. I held on tight to my bottle of water. We found Mitch talked with him for a few minutes before we all split up. I kept Brook in my sights not wanting her to get hurt. 

Mitch's party was kind of boring so I text Luc for most of it until he said he was going to bed. That was when we all decided to go to the next party. Kim was one of Lacey and Brook's friends so that is where we are heading right now. The other three are a little drunk so the music was blaring in the car and I was starting to get a headache.

"Holdennnnn, I love you." Brook sang.

"I love you to sis." I said laughing.

"Are we at Kimmie's yet?" She asked.

"Not yet but almost." I said laughing.

"My drink is missing and  we need to find it." She slurred.

"We will find it." I said. I made them finish their drinks before even getting in the car. No open containers allowed. I know party pooper right. NOT. I don't want a ticket.

I pulled up to Kim's and her party looked a little bit out of control. I was a little worried about the cops being called or just showing up.

"We're here." I sang.

"Yayyyyyyy" The three of them yelled before jumping out of the car and staggering up to the party. I got a freash water before joining them.

There were people passed out in the yard, puking in the bird bath and having sex on the porch. This was not good. Not good at all. Inside the house Kim was passed out in the kitchen wearing only her underwear and a bra people were drawing on her with magic marker. I didn't see one adult anywhere. The house was trashed, shit was broken and food was everywhere. We were not sticking around here for long.

"Hey, guys we are going to move on to the next one soon. This one looks like it is about to get busted." I said to the others.

"Okkkkayyyyyyy" The three of them slurred before busting into giggles.

Sometimes I hate being the only sober one.

I let them party for an hour before getting them back in the car and heading to Ryan's party. This was someone I really didn't know but was friends with Landon and Lacey. My goal was to drive slow and hope that they all passed out before getting there. They were all trashed and I should have called it quiets but I wanted Brook to enjoy her day.

When I was about a mile from Ryan's I noticed that two out of three were a sleep.

"Brook, I think we should just head home. Lacey and Landon as sleeping and you have to get ready for your party tomorrow." I said quietly.

"Yeah, okay." She said in a sleepy voice. 

I was planning on taking them back to our house but how the hell would I get all three of them in the house? I wouldn't. So I drove to Luc's, parked in the barn and left them to sleep it off in the car. After making sure I had all the keys so they didn't wake up and leave. I quietly made my way up to Luc's room and striped out of my clothes before slipping into bed next to him. He curled up into my side without even waking up. I like that.
