Devlin frowned.

"He's not in Jessie's room?" He questioned.

"Ohh shoot... I said I was going to.. My bad.. I think he's in there asleep." Ivan mumbled.

Devlin headed for the room and Katrina coughed out loud, knowing it was loud enough for Jared to hear her. "Are you okay?" Ivan asked her worried, Katrina nodded, and placed her hands on her side. They heard loud moans coming from Jared and she softly groaned, looking up at the ceiling.

She didn't know how to help him.

She heavily breathed out, she didn't have her phone with her, so she couldn't warn the men that they were going to knock.. Or worse.. Walk in on them, she tried to think of a way to distract them if the door was unlocked. "I need to yell in pain or something." Then they heard banging against the wall.

"Really Jared?" Katrina widened her eyes and placed her hand over her mouth, she couldn't believe Jude was that rough. "What tha fuck?" Ivan mumbled, leaving them, he didn't want to hear it anymore. Devlin stood at the end of the door, he paused, and then banged hard.

"Jared!" He shouted.

He turned around and grinned at Katrina.

They heard nothing but complete silence afterwards.

Devlin knocked again.

They waited until they heard it unlock.

The door opened halfway, and Jared glared at him wide eyed. "What's up?" He huffed, his shirt was off and Devlin tried to see past him, but couldn't. Devlin groaned and smiled. "Who's here? Who did you sneak in dis house at dis hour?" Jared nervously smiled and shrugged. "I'm sorry.. I'll keep it down." Katrina silently laughed, and placed her hand over her mouth and walked off to the bedroom they came out of.

"You have sex... In dis house?" Devlin growled, for him it came out weird, he rolled his eyes at himself for sounding like a father, then grinned, realizing he was getting ready to be one.

"N..No; Well I was just... Haha yeah I guess." He nervously said. "If it's Anthony.. He has to leave before my mom gets home around twelve." Devlin said low, he then smiled and squeezed Jared on the shoulder. Jared chuckled, and shrugged. "He's toxic... You gotta realize dis buddy, you deserve better." Devlin whispered, Jared groaned. "Yeah I know.. I just.. Needed to ya know." He grinned, Devlin sighed. "Okay we'll keep it down.. Shit.. I'm trying wit my girl here." Devlin whispered, playing with him, Jared pursed his lips. "Her belly is too huge! How are you gonna-."

Katrina screeched and rushed to the door, she was really trying to close it, but Jared thought she was pushing it open.

"Why are you blocking the door?" Katrina finally purred.

Jared looked down at her.

"Go finish what you guys are doing little one." Jared laughed, Katrina shook her head. "That time, when me and Devlin were trying and you were watching us?" She tested, Jared cracked up. "I came in the room at the end.. I didn't see anything." He nervously laughed, Katrina rolled her eyes at him and smiled. "Is it really Anthony?" She joked, Jared sighed. "He's too embarrassed to come out." He murmured.

"I bet he is." Katrina mumbled.

He closed the door in their face.

They heard him laughing inside.

Devlin took her hand and led her back inside of his room, when he shut the door and turned on the lights, Katrina gasped in shock. "This is your room?" She asked him, he embarrassingly smiled. "It's mine." He admitted, the first thing she did was look at the trophies on the wall shelf. Devlin was nervous, he couldn't believe she didn't look anywhere else.

"These are from golfing right?" She happily asked him, Devlin nodded and grinned. "And wrestling." He said in a deep voice, he moved across the room, and turned on more lights.

Katrina gasped.

The room was incredibly large, she looked around.

It was his old bedroom in high school.

Katrina had a master bedroom; But not a master suite, or, a house within a house, she couldn't even describe it, it was insane and she freaked out. There was a king sized bed, that looked like a queen's compared to this room. "Is this supposed to be your parent's bedroom? Or.. Did they give you this... Little Play House?" She jokingly exclaimed, he chuckled. "No dis is my room... You would actually be surprised at the room that Jared's in, it's a lot bigger than this one." He nervously replied. He had a wall that curved from his bedroom to what looked like a living room area; And wooden white brown tiles that were steps, led to the living room, she marveled at the freshly painted grey wall. There were two studio lights that hung above a long modern grey couch in the area, and an extremely large, fluffy grey rug sat underneath the couch, she felt like that area was like a studio apartment itself. A long floating wall shelf, hung over the couch, and six black and grey pillows were on it.

An eighty inch, flat screen television was mounted on the wall, and next to it were speakers. It reminded her of the condo that she bought in Catalina.

He had a normal sized kitchen on the other side of the room, and steps led to it, he even had a dining room area, and screen doors that led to the patio. Another patio was in the living room, but she could tell it was small. He had two long windows on the wall, with resetting lights at the top; To her, it had an urban cabin feel. "Is this where the attic is supposed to be?" She murmured, Devlin shook his head 'no', she moved deeper in the room and realized, that wasn't all. It was like a whole house, he had a bedroom in his room. In the bedroom, a large glass wall was placed on the front so that you could see inside of it, almost like a studio. It had gym machinery and equipment in it, and speakers were on the wall of the little gym. "I can't believe I'm actually saying this.. But.. You can literally hide in this house." She mumbled.

Devlin smiled.

He sat down on the bed.

"We got out of this room so fast.. I didn't even notice." She smiled, Devlin shrugged. "Once all of d lights are off, it's pitch black in here." He cocked his head to the side, she moved towards the little gym and peeked her head inside and nodded.

"How many bathrooms do you have?" She joked, looking back at him, she wanted to go in the kitchen and be nosey. "Two." Devlin exclaimed laughing. Katrina looked back at him to see if he was joking. "There's two bathrooms in here?" She asked him, with widened eyes.

He yawned and nodded, then furrowed his brow.

"Actually there's three." He remembered, he stood up and walked over to the kitchen and turned to the side. "Yep." His voice echoed when he did that. Katrina spied the closet near his bed. "Is it just like the closet in the guest house?" She asked him, Devlin smiled. "Ya.. But better.. And actually, let's not look in there until tomorrow.. You're going to go crazy." He chuckled, Katrina agreed and walked over to his bed and sat down.

"D only one allowed upstairs is Miriam.. Dats why you haven't seen this side of d house."

"Oh.." She softly said.

She sweetly smiled at him. "Is it because that was the section where your dad was in?" Devlin nodded, and cut her off. "Another upstairs, on d opposite side of d house." He murmured, Katrina wasn't going to say that; The whole entire time, she thought they only had one upstairs. "How many rooms is there in that one?" She asked him. "I think three.. But those rooms.. Are I guess normal.. I haven't been in dis house for a long time." He shrugged.

"How come we can hear Jared then?" She couldn't believe it... Not in this big room she couldn't, Devlin laughed. "Becos you can hear someone in d kitchen sometimes..." He growled. Katrina widened her eyes. "They were having sex in the kitchen!?" She smirked, and yawned.

She looked at the built in fire place on his wall, and sighed.

"You're in shock huh?" Devlin laughed.

She nodded.

"Ya.. I guess dat I wos a cool teen in high school." He winked.

"Did you have any girls in here?" She wondered.

Devlin shook his head 'no'. "Guest house." He slowly admitted, Katrina widened her eyes. "How come we never came up here?" She exclaimed, he smiled. "My father..." He murmured, she softly nodded and placed her head on his chest. "I'm really going to miss him." He said swallowing, he looked around the room. "Dis wos never my home.. The day my parents got a divorce... Wos the day that I decided that this is not my house."

Katrina understood that.

She couldn't take it anymore living with Christopher.. He ruined Catalina for her.

"He wanted me to stay here with him..." He softly murmured, thinking about the night his parent's got a divorce angered him. "But he wanted Jessie and mom to leave." He scowled. "Do you know how painful dat wos for Jessie? Dat's why, she did whatever she wanted in dis house... And I could never leave my mother alone.. You see how she is now?" Devlin said low. "Yeah." She agreed, and took his hand. He intertwined with her fingers and looked around the room. "Les go back to bed, I have to be at work by five." He mumbled, Katrina nodded and looked at the clock on the wall, it was ten o clock at night. He got up to turn off the light, he took forever getting to the light near the door, and it still shocked her how big this room was. He ran and turned on a tiny lamp near the bed, then turned off the resetting lights near their section of the room.

She scooted back to the pillows and climbed underneath the blankets, and he crawled in bed with her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

He rubbed her belly, and she felt the baby moving.

"Look who's up." Katrina gushed, Devlin smiled.

"Gonna be a midnight person, like daddy and mommy huh?" He whispered, Katrina nodded, and smiled, him saying that made her gush, he kissed her neck and tilted her head up, so that he could kiss her on the lips. Feeling uncomfortable, she took off the dress and bra that she wore to the funeral, Devlin smirked at her for wriggling around in the bed, he made a soft manly noise and wrapped his arms around her once she was done. He softly rubbed her breast's with his thumb and kissed her on her face, he groaned when he felt the baby poking her belly again.

"There's no way I'm going inside of you now, not with our little one up." He growled in a deep voice in her ear.

Katrina widened her eyes.

Although she really wanted too, she was relieved.

And too exhausted.

In the morning, Devlin slowly got off the bed, he didn't want to wake her, he kissed her lips and her belly and headed towards the bathroom closest to them. He showered; When he was done, he placed shaving cream on his cheeks and neck, he got out his razor, then slowly went to the kitchen to prepare his coffee.

"I like my coffee, how I like my woman." He grinned to himself.. Eyeing his princess on the bed.

He opened the screen door halfway, and walked over to the bathroom near the kitchen, he picked up his razor and shaved. Once he was done, he looked in the cabinets and noticed that Miriam had stocked up on  his favorite wheat bread. Pulling it out of the bag, he popped one in the toaster, he pulled out a black mug and poured the coffee in it.

He walked over to the small closet near the kitchen, and pulled out his favorite suit. He found a steamer in there as well, he sighed.. His father reminded Miriam to place the steamer in the closet.. Remembering the fight he had with him about the steamer, his father was old school, and thought using steamers were for lazy people.

Shaking the memory off.

He checked the time, and quickly pulled out a cigar from the small kitchen cabinet, he gathered his things on a black wooden tray, and steamed his suit. When he was done, he went over to the screen door, opened it, and stepped out.

It was freezing out.

He could see his own breath, the sky was light blue, with a mist of grey, he could smell the woods. He quickly headed back in the room and put on his suit in the kitchen, once he was done, he silently crept outside and lit his cigar. He drank his coffee, and took a puff. The toast felt good in his stomach, wiping his mouth, he crossed his feet, and took another bite out of the toast. He began to see movement in the bushes out in the woods.

He frowned.

"Wat the hell is that?" He furrowed his brow at the woods again, then his attention adverted to his watch, a small vibration on his wrist let him know that it was time for work. He stood up, and put out his cigar, he headed back in the room; Almost forgetting to close the screen door, he shut it, looking at the porch from the windows, he decided to play it safe. He placed the board that was propped on the wall, down on the floor where the screen began, he didn't want anyone sneaking in and hurting Katrina.

Leaving the room, he smelled a very strong scent of breakfast.

He frowned.

"I thought dat they would be gone?" He curiously thought.

He opened his door and stepped out. "Who could possibly be up at five in d morning?" He wondered, when he got downstairs, he noticed a few maids cleaning; Confused, he headed to the kitchen, some of the maids and cooks, were preparing meals, and Jared and Jude stood at the corner of the kitchen, where the entrance to the other upstairs were, with their mouths watered at the food. Jared placed his hand on his chest. "Good morning sir!" Miriam exclaimed, smiling wide at him. "Would you like your regular?" Devlin felt warmth in his chest. "No thank you.. I ate d bread that you left for me." He smiled, Jared frowned. "What bread? They have a kitchen in that room too?"

"Good.. I also made breakfast for Jared and Jude." She nervously fumbled. Devlin eyed the two in the corner. "You guys don't have to be at work until eight?" Devlin frowned, Jude shrugged and stared, as a maid lifted up an egg pie. "We were hungry." He mumbled, Devlin furrowed his brow. "Go wait in d living room for d food then... It's rude to stand there." He gruffly said and left the kitchen, Jared followed him, Devlin turned and was shocked at his hair.

"Wow dude you look like... A girl." He mumbled.

His hair was long and straightened, the golden blonde with a touch of orange that Devlin figured he dye'd last night, laid neatly on his shoulders and curled at the end, he even had light red eye liner on. "Make up?" Devlin mumbled, confused at him, Jared smiled. "I wear it when I'm not around Katrina... I know it makes her feel uncomfortable." He murmured, Devlin wondered about that. "So I take it.. You didn't get any sleep for work then?" Devlin groaned, Jared shrugged. "I can still go to work.. It's no problem."

Jude entered the dining room with a glass of water.

"Hey Devlin? There's two guys at the end of your house in your backyard." Jude whispered to him, Devlin furrowed his brow, and angrily stepped to the side of them, the two men followed closely behind him. Once they were outside and passed the pool, Devlin spotted them standing near his father's part of the woods. "Wot are you doing here?" He shouted at them, when he walked further, he could see Sheriff Kennings standing next to his deputy and groaned. "You didn't tell me it wos Kennings." Devlin quickly whispered to Jude. "I didn't know it was him, I can't tell from your house.. And you couldn't either." Jude whispered back.

"Mr. Danielyan.. It's nice to see you and your friends up this cold early morning." They walked over to the men and stopped in front of them. "What are you doing near my father's house?" Devlin growled, he eyed the deputy who looked away from him, the deputy stared at Jared wearing make up and frowned. "You wouldn't happen to know Bryce Johnson would you?" The sheriff asked him, Devlin thickly said "No." And Sheriff Kennings took off his hat. "I'm sorry to hear about your father by the way... He was a good man.. And he did a wonderful job for our community.. We loved him too." He sighed and then pulled out a picture of Bryce. "This guys missing here.. And his brother is in town looking for him... We heard that he worked for you? Is this correct?" Devlin shrugged. "Oh; I only know faces, I seen dis guy.. Yes, he came in for an interview.. But.. Dat wos the last I saw of him."

Jude couldn't help but glare at Jared, he quickly looked down at the floor before the two men in front of them noticed. "What the fuck.. He's been dead since then? So he hasn't even been working?" The sheriff cleared his throat. "He wouldn't happened to have told you anything that was suspicious to you?"

Devlin smiled at that comment.

"He said he wos from New Elm.. And dat he worked for a ducky's place.. But.. I did find it odd dat he said, him and his daughter just moved from Catalina, considering New Elm is far away." The men nodded in agreement. "Actually.. That wasn't his daughter.. Um.. The guy.. I guess kidnapped her from his own brother." Kennings grumbled, even though the men knew this.. They all still looked shocked.

"Yeah.. I'm the one that was with my friend when we found her." Jude mumbled, Devlin silently looked down at him, and then gave the sheriff a cold look. "He must have skipped town if you say dat he kidnapped her then?" Kennings nodded. "Yeah.. That's what we figured.. Well thank you for the information.. Sorry for your loss again." He placed his hat back on his head and him and the deputy walked off.

Devlin huffed, and headed back to the house.

It was silent until they got in the home, and Jared and Jude were talking at the same time, Devlin shushed the two men, who were getting ready to say something else. "Don't say anything." He said low, and left them in the living room, they could hear him close the front door, Jared sighed with relief, but Jude stood and looked down at the floor. "It's going to be okay..." Jared softly said, Jude nodded. "I can't believe all of this shit is happening.. I can't take it anymore." He admitted, Jared rubbed his back. "Let's take a nap.. I actually do need a lot of strength before we deal with Ian today." He grumbled, Jude giggled, and took his hand, he was still worried for Devlin...

Around twelve, Katrina stirred and turned to her side and rubbed the spot that Devlin was in.

He was gone.

She opened her eyes and yawned, the morning light, lit his entire room and she smiled, she smelled toast, and coffee and remembered his room again, she sat up straight, and looked around. She spotted the kitchen and moved her legs to the side of the bed, and slowly got up, she stretched and eyed his closet again.

She grinned, realizing he was at work, she decided to head to his closet and look inside.

When she opened the door it was pitch dark, she tried to find the light but couldn't, her hand reached around the wall and the light turned on; She furrowed her brow. "I didn't touch a switch though." Realizing it was censored, she took a step back, and wondered if it was a good idea to step in.

Mustering up the courage, she moved deeper in the room.

His closet had a ton of clothes in it, on one side, he had normal clothes, and the other; Suits, he also had small boxes packed in the corner, one box was opened, and it had rows of pictures in them. She sighed, and stepped out of his closet, slowly closing the door.

Then remembering the censor, she opened it again.

Scared to see if the light was still on, it was; So she moved her hand where the spot was, and the lights still didn't turn off, she closed the closet door, then opened it again, hoping it would be off, it was still on. She groaned and
