Scaramouche POV

"Today is bring your kids to work day." I barely hear from Mr. Zhongli. Did the teachers bring some of those little gremlins to the school..? I swear if they did...

"..." Childe stares at his desk, probably because if Mr. Zhongli is mentioning this it means he's married.

"C'mon its not like you were gonna get him to date you anyway." I try to crush his spirits even more. He looks up at me with a frown.

"You're right...I didn't have a chance anyway..." Childe mutters. 

"All my children, however, all already go to this school, so I decided to bring my nieces instead." Mr. Zhongli smiles. Childe sinks further into his seat. I watch two small children run in the room, one with pastel purple hair and the other with brown hair. I make a disgusted face. I hate children. Since that incident...no. Not time for that. I look at the children once more and notice the brown-haired one has bells in her hair. Now, those are some weird hair accessories. 

"Hiya! I'm Yaoyao and this is Qiqi!"

"Ahhhh! You're so cuuutteee!" The girl sitting next to Kazuha squeals. I roll my eyes. Children are anything but that. 

"Heyyyy dad? I wanna ditch!" A girl with red eyes yells. She was also talking to Mr. Zhongli, which means she's one of his kids he mentioned. I understand where she's coming from. 

"Hu Tao. No. You know how important your education is." Zhongli denies her request. She rolls her eyes and scoffs, kicking back her seat and falling over. I laugh. 

"Cousin Hu Tao? Are you alright?" The bell girl asks, walking over to the funeral director. 

"I'm fine. Just fell. Anyway-daddddd I'm hurt can I go to the nurses office?" Huh. So it was all a ploy to get out of class...I may have to try that sometime. Mr. Zhongli sighs and shakes his head. She whines before getting back in her seat. I suffer through the rest of class before the bell rings and I get up. 

Yanfei POV:

"Hu Tao, stop terrorizing poor Qiqi..." I sigh as Qiqi runs behind me to get away from Hu Tao.

"I'm not! We're playing..."

Kazuha POV:

'In this class I sit next to Kokomi. That's nice.' When I get into the class, Kokomi isn't there yet. I sit down in my seat and wait for her. She soon shows up.

"Ah. Kazuha! Why were you absent most of last week?" She asks me politely. I explain that I was...dealing with some stuff. She nods and looks at the teacher. I start fidgeting with the pencil in my desk. I wonder how mad Mona is gonna be when she sees me and Scaramouche together again...I shake my thoughts away and attempt to grasp what's going on around me. The teacher is explaining something about a random topic that I cannot grasp. Luckily, Kokomi notices my struggle and helps me understand. I eventually make it through class. As I exit the class, I hear a familiar voice.

"Kazuha. Hey." Scara speaks from beside me. I give him a smile. I feel a strange feeling in my stomach, but I cant place it. There was a short silence before Scara reached over and quietly grabbed my hand. I feel my cheeks turn red as I look at him. He was looking away from me, probably to avoid questions. I decide just to enjoy it while I can. I move closer to him, to the point where our arms are touching. He glances at me for a moment, but then decides to look back ahead of him. We are arriving in the lunch room, so I scan the room for Aether, Venti, and Xiao. I eventually spot them and drag Scara over there. 

"Hey guys!" I exclaim, walking over to them. Aether nearly spits out his drink.

"Why are you so happy? Did you two get together or something?" Aether jokes. I get very flustered and let go of Scara's hand. I had figured some people may get that impression. I sit down next to Aether to avoid more misunderstandings. I see Heizou walk over to the table and mentally prepare myself for the conversation to come. 

"Hey." He speaks calmly.

"You aren't talking much, what's wrong?" Aether asks him what everyone was thinking.

"Nothing. Its mostly good, actually."

"Well, spill the tea!" Venti looks excitedly.

"I got a girlfriend." Heizou speaks calmly. Aether's jaw drops. I believe it. The odds are that he does. He has a track record of having tons of girls chasing after him.

"Who!?" Venti is literally yelling by now I cover my ears. Scara slaps him in the back of the head, then points at me before Venti can get mad at him. Venti mouths the word sorry before sitting back down. I Un-cover my ears.

"Heizou, do continue." I speak quietly. He nods and begins speaking.

"Her name is Kuki Shinobu. You may have seen her around, she has green hair, a mask..." I stop listening. I would rather not hear my ex ramble about his new girlfriend I think about how I felt earlier while just staring at Scara...I still cant place what it was. I feel someone tug on my arm. I turn my head and see Scara behind me.

"Kazuha. Come on. We've gotta get to class." I nod and stand up. Time really flies

I have to admit there are a ton of people who read this tbh last chapter the writer was celebrating 400 views now its at almost like 600 oh also the writer planned all the way to chapter 50??? thats quite a lot sooo you can wait till chapter 50 this story seems to do quite a lot until then...it gets weird. NO! No spoilers Kirara...dang it...

Sorry anyway thanks for 500 views!!!! That's like...1/2 a thousand people. Thank you SO much. I have moved Kirara to the right because...she talks too much and its hard to differentiate from the actual POVs so yeah if you see text on the right, its Kirara. Me and my friend, @RattyBatty55732 are writing a Genshin chatfic! I posted it on my account, and they posted it on theirs. We are both writing it though. If you wanna read it, go to their account! This was also a bit rushed because I was really busy but I still wanted to get another chapter out! Byby
