Thoma POV:

"My lord, why do we need to go out to a park?" I ask Mr. Kamisato as I walk alongside him. He chuckles and gives me a glance.

"Thoma, there's a reason." He looks back in front of him. Its around 1:00 PM, and we're walking through a public park! Why did he have to pick the busiest time of day? Besides, normally I should be planning his days for him, so why is he doing it himself? I just continue to follow My lord without question. After all, I have no right to question him. He leads me to a quiet area, eventually. He sits down on a bench and encourages me to sit next to him. I do as he wants and I sit down.

"My lord, pardon me for asking once more, but why are we here?" I ask him again. He tilts his head up and closes his eyes.

"To enjoy the afternoon breeze, of course." He speaks calmly. I am still confused as to why we couldn't have gone to a more familiar place. I feel him reach his hand over and put it on mine. I blush.

"My lord, if I may ask, what are you doing?" I ask him another question. I feel guilty asking him so many things.

"My my, you sure are curious today..." He turns to face me and grabs my chin with his other hand. I begin to sweat. 

"M-my lord..." I grab his wrist and make eye contact with him. He has a grin on his face. As His face inches closer to mine, I glance around to see if anyone was watching, but then I remember we're not in Inazuma, and no one would recognize My lord. I feel our lips touch. It was a quick, sweet, kiss. He lets go of my face and smiles at me. I am still blushing, but who wouldn't be?

"So...Thoma. I have a question to ask you."

"What is it, My lord?" I try to speak with out stuttering.

"Do you love me?"

"What do you mean by that? Romantic love?"

"Yes. Are you romantically attracted to me?" I take a moment to respond. How are you supposed to respond to this situation? Do you tell the truth? Do you tell him otherwise? What do you do?

"Then my answer is yes."

Aether POV:

"Xiao-Xiao, Venti is asking me if we want to go out with a couple friends he made at the party, do you wanna go with me?" I ask my new boyfriend what he would like to do. I realize that he doesn't like talking to anyone but me, Venti, and Ganyu, but then again, he has followed me everywhere since we got together.

"Are you going?" He asks me. His arms were currently around me and his head was resting on my shoulder.

"Yep! I told Venti I'd go!"

"I'll go with you then..." It seems that I can get my Xiao-Xiao to do anything if I say I'm going to do it...

"Alright. Venti also said it was a bonding activity to try and get his new friend and Heizou to get along better... In the end 6 of us should be going." I explain to Xiao the plan for the outing. 

"Ok. Should we go right now or???" He asks me. I laugh and nod before grabbing his arms and throwing them behind me. I stand up and grab his wrist. I begin to run to where Venti is. We soon see him and the people he wanted to meet up with talking. 

"Venti, why don't I remember talking to you...much less giving you my number." I hear a white haired boy say. It was the person who Heizou said was his ex. I understand why Venti clarified that he wanted them to get along. The white haired boy was with a guy with dark blue hair. The guy with dark blue hair is a Fatui harbinger. I don't know why they let him into this school, after all, does he even have a vision?

"You gave me it while we were drinking last night!" Venti responds as me and Xiao creep up behind him.

"Whatcha talkin' about?" I whisper into his ear. He screams.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?????" He yells at me, looking mad. I see the two people who were with him pause. The white haired one smiles and waves at me, unlike the blue haired one who doesn't even glance at me. 

"Where is Heizou? Did he decide not to come?" The white haired boy asks. Venti was still rambling about how he could've died from a heart attack, so I just shrugged.

"I don't know. Anyway, what's your name again? And your boyfriend over there?" I teased. I watch them both turn bright red.

"We're n-not dating...But I'm Kaedahara Kazuha and he is Scaramouche. You may also recognize him as the 6th of the 11 Fatui harbingers, the Balladeer, dear traveler." He spoke in a way that sounded as if he were trying to impress someone. How did he know I was a traveler before I arrived here? Nevermind that. I see Heizou walking toward us

"Hey...what happened?" Heizou was calm as ever as he walked towards us. He seemed to have noticed Ventis rambling.

"I scared him and now hes yelling at me." 

"I see. Kazuha, how are you? Your friend couldn't find you last night." 

"O-oh. You heard about that. I'm good, I just went over to that closet behind the plants to get away from the loud noises."

"Behind plants? Those plants weren't supposed to be in front of the closet...did someone put you in there?"

"W-what? No! No way in hell! Why would someone lock me in a closet anyway?"

"Kazuha...you're acting strange. I was ready to believe you after you and I's talk, but he's bringing up some good questions." Scaramouche admits.

"I-I..." Kazuha stutters. He looked scared, or just nervous.

"Guys, you seem to be making him uncomfortable." I convince them to stop. Venti stops rambling and looks at us three, then at Xiao. Xiao begins explaining what had happened up to that point.

"Ohhh. Are we gonna get going or not?" Venti complains about the delay, even though it was him who sat forever yelling at me.

"Yeah. Lets go." You could just barely hear Kazuha mumble. 

"Kazuha, can we talk about this when we get back to the dorm?"

"I'd rather not." I hear Kazuha and Scaramouche talk on our way to the aquarium. Kazuha was wearing a cream colored hoodie, so he then threw his hood over his head, even though it was at least 25℃(77℉).

"Kazuha, are you alright?" Ask ask him as he starts to sweat. He glances up at me.

"No. But thank you for helping earlier." I am a bit concerned by his response but I nod.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" I ask him.

"Yes. But I'm not allowed to." He mutters. I nod.

"I wont tell anyone. That's if that's the reason you cant tell, of course."

"You...really wont?" He asks me like he's considering it.

"Yeah! If its something I have to keep secret."

"Ok. Can we talk later today?"

"Yes. Sure." I respond quickly. Over the course of our outing, I catch Scaramouche glancing at Kazuha. They are so gay.

After we go back onto the school grounds, Kazuha asks me to meet him.

"So. What's wrong?"

"You know Mona, right..?"

"Yes?" He begins to tell me all types of outrageous stuff that Mona would never do.

"Are you sure that's Mona?? Because that doesn't sound like her. I knew her before we came here and she was not like that."

"Well, I wouldn't know. All I know that its a girl named Mona Megistus."

"Ok. Something is definitely wrong with her."

"Ok...Maybe we should try to find out what it is so she doesn't beat me to a pulp again? Because my whole body is still sore."

"Yeah. Ok." Right then, Operation: Truth About Mona began.
