"Bae have you seen my--nevermind!" I heard Jaylen yell and I went to our bedroom where she was brushing her hair. I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Where you goin?" I asked her and she looked at me through her mirror. "I told you, I have 4 clients today who wanted me to do their daughter's hair, then I have to stop by my clothing store making sure money is being brought in." She said putting her hair into a ponytail.

"Oh well I got shit to handle at the trap anyway." I said knowing I ain't have not a damn thing to do in that bitch.

"And who's supposed to watch Za'Niyah?" She asked me. "I can get a baby sitter." I shrugged. "Ask Maria to take care of her. I can call her if you want." She said putting on lipgloss.

"That would be nice." I said and she turned around to me and kissed me. "How come you never let Za'Niyah meet yo parents, hell I ain't even meet yo parents yet." I said feeling curious.

4 years ago I found Jay about to commit suicide.

"Hey what you doing?" Nasir asked Jaylen who was on the edge of the cliff. "Jumping." She said in an obvious tone pointing to the water.

"You could die." Nasir said standing next to her. "That's what I'm tryna do." She told him and he grabbed her hand. "No your not."

Ever since Jay lived with me and I taught her how to defend herself. I taught her how to fight, throw a punch, and shoot a gun. Her aim was hella better than mine.

Then I taught her how to not be so damn soft by being hard on her till she started hitting me.

She wanted to join the gang, Black Stallions, but it was too dangerous so I told her no but somehow, she convinced me to let her join so she did.

She sighed and sat on the bed. "Remember when I about to kill myself?" I I nodded and sat next to her. "Ever since I was in 9th grade everyone bullied me over my weight and so I told my whole family I was gonna kill myself. I never told them that you stopped me." I nodded.

"Will you ever get back on contact eotj them?" She shrugged.

"Maybe I will." The doorbell rung. "That's Maria." I went to opened the door and I saw Maria on the porch so I let her in.

"Hey where Niyah?" She asked and Za'Niyah came running out her room into her arms.

Maria was cute but not my type.

"Hey Mari." Jay hugged Maria. "Hey girl. Yall off to work?" She asked and Jay nodded. "Dont give Maria a hard time okay baby." I said and she nodded.

"Promise daddy." I kissed her cheek and when Jay kissed her we left going separate ways.

When I got to the trap I was greeted by, Quan, my best friend since elementary.

"Whats up bitch!" He yelled dapping me up. "Whats up Q." I chuckled and we went to my office where we smoked a blunt.

"Hows hot pocket doin?" He asked and I chuckled at the nickname.

"She chill." I said and he nodded. "What bout that brat?" I rolled my eyes. "My baby ain't no brat." I said and he nodded. "You right, hows that spoiled brat?" I laughed.

"She good, just gotta teach her how to talk better." I inhaled the smoke and he nodded.

"I spoke to Jha. Hes coming by today." Quan told me and I nodded. "What for?" He sucked his teeth.

"You know he been running this shit since he was 17 and he still in the game." I frowned.

"I thought ever since his little sister died he left." I said.

When Jhacari was 17 he told me his sister supposedly killed herself but they couldn't find the body so the cops told them, she either ran away or was kidnapped. So he left the game.

"He did then he turned the power over to you. Bout a year ago he turned into a hit man but got tired of listening to other niggas so now he comin back in the game. He wanted to talk to you about him bein your upper hand guy." I nodded.

Quan was the next leader so he wasnt trippin bout Jha tryna be my upper hand guy.

Bout two hours later my baby came. "Hey pooh, I got you something to eat." She said handing me a bag from Checkers. "Thanks pretty." I said kissing her and she sat on my lap.

"Damn hot pockets, can't get no hello or food. That's cruel." She rolled her eyes and threw another bag at him.

"Nigga shut yo ass up." She said mugging him. "I'm jus jokin hot pocket."

"I ain't even been here for 2 minutes and you already gettin on my nerves." I said and he chuckled eating. "You ain't get nun to eat?" Nasir asked me and I nodded.

"I ate Chinese before I got here." I said and laid on his chest. "Swear you a big ass baby." Nas said and I sucked my teeth.

"Leave me alone hoe." I mumbled and he chucked. "Can yall not I'm tryna eat." Quans dumbass said.

"Nigga shut up." Nasir told him I was halfway asleep when I heard a voice I hadn't heard in years.

"So yall just eatin in this motherfucker without me?"

I wonder who that could be 🤔 how yall likin my new book so far. This book has absolutely nothing to do with my previous books I made, just wanted that out there.
