"Blue sandwiches? And candy?" Percy grinned at Nico. Nico smiled in return.

"Um... Wanna go swimming?" Nico asked when they were done. He brought out the two bathing suits for the boys.

"Yeah!" Percy agreed. They changed into the shorts, not looking at each other, mind you, and Percy jumped into the water immediately. Nico hesitated.

Percy's head shot out of the water. "What's wrong? The water's fine! Well actually, I can't really feel the temp-"

"Um, are there any like... Fish around?" Nico fidgeted. He blushed cutely.

Percy through back his head in laughter, then dunk down in the water. He emerged with a grin.

"Not anymore." Percy watched the boy hesitate even more.

"W-Well, uh..." Nico hadn't thought this through. Nico had only swam once in his life, and Percy was a son of Poseidon, for Hades sake, he'd never keep up with him, even if he was an Olympic swimmer.

Percy shot up on a column of water, grabbing Nico by the waist and into the water. The younger boy screamed in shock.

When Percy released him Nico clumsily swam to the surface. He gasped for air. Percy shrugged.

"Here," He said, and gave Nico a little air bubble around his head as he pulled Nico under once more.

Nico grinned, swimming around, looking at the coral reefs and seaweed. The grin didn't last for long though, a shark brushed his leg and Nico screamed, popping the air bubble and taking water in his lungs as he fumbled for air.

Percy grabbed the thrashing son of Hades and told the shark to get lost. He manipulated the water to push him back to the shore and lay Nico down on the sand.

Percy panicked and immediately started giving the boy mouth to mouth, ignoring the tingles that shot through him.

Nico coughed up water a minute later, regaining the ability to breathe independently.
