After turning my key in the lock, my front door unlocked and I opened it

I had Chipotle and shopping bags in my hand, so I was trying to hurry and get inside

After putting my bags down right by the dining room area, I started to walk to the kitchen

I seen that Kai was sitting in the middle of the living room in one of the dining room chairs with a cape around his neck, getting his haircut

"Hey, Kai." I said, seeing that Sergio was the one that was cutting his hair

I didn't even know he cut hair

"Hi, Sergio." I spoke instinctively

"Hey, you got me sum from Chipotle?" Kai asked, furrowing his eyebrows

"Wassup." Sergio did a slight head nod as he cleaned off the clippers in his hand

"I got you a bowl." I began to go inside of the bag I had

When I was at the mall, I stopped at Chipotle. I got Kai just a bowl, but I got a burrito, bowl, queso dip, and some tortilla chips

It sounded like a lot of food, but it was going on 8, and I hadn't ate anything all day and woke up at 9

If I wasn't in the mall and starving, I would've definitely went to Cava

"You fixing to get your haircut?" I asked Kai, taking his bowl out

"Yeah, put my shit in the microwave. Preciate it." He said, I nodded in response

After putting his bowl in the microwave, I went into the living room where they were with my food, but I sat down in our black leather couch, tucking right leg under my butt

"You got all that shit?" Kai spoke, making a face as I brought my food out of the bag

"Yes, and? You the one asking me if I got you something, step your cookies up before they crumble." I mugged him

"You always saying dumb shit." He laughed at me

I grabbed the remorse that was in the seat next to me, and turned on the TV. I went to Hulu and turned on Power Book III: Raising Kanan

"What you was doing all day, why you ain' go to school?" He asked, grabbing his phone off his lap

"Got my hair done, went to Sephora, then to give these people this money, then to the mall." I summed up my whole day as I popped open my bowl

"You sure you ain't do that shit yo' self?" He tried to be funny

I blinked at him because I just knew he was trying to be funny. My hair was actually really cute, I had a side part sew-in with 26 inch bundles along with layers and curls

"You'n like my hair?" I asked him as Sergio brushed the back of his hair

"Hell nah, look like a snapping turtle."

"Do not make me go over there and eat your bowl as well, I ain't ate all day and I'm on one." I warned, pointing at him

"How you mad that I think you need a refund?" He sucked his teeth

Instead of saying something back to him, I looked back at the TV. I was just trying to enjoy my meal and my new hair

I grabbed my phone from my back pocket, then sent pictures of myself from earlier to my group chat

The group chat consisted of Jae, A'lani, Jab, Koi, and Renzo. Reign used to be in the group chat, but she quickly left when Kai did what he did

Afterwards, I placed my phone down next to me and put my eyes on the TV screen while pouring sour cream on my burrito

It only took minutes for me to forget that my brother and Sergio were there because I was hooked on the show

I had just gotten to the third show on Power, and was ready for the outcome of it all

And then Tariq and Brayden looking so good on my screen just made it 10x better

My phone that was in my pocket began to vibrate against my ass, making me grab it. It was my big brother, Salem who everyone called Sae

"Hello, what's up?" I answered, putting the phone down on my thigh as it was on speaker

"Who that is?" Kai nosy ass mouthed to me, and I just looked at him

"Wassup, what you doing?" He asked

"Eating some Chipotle and watching Power, what are you doing?" I asked, picking up food onto the tortilla chips

"Finna go pick up Bub, he got a game tomorrow. Y'all coming?" He asked

Bub was his son, he was only like six years old, but he was good at football and basketball

Me, my mom, and dad usually always went to his games, Samai would only come when she felt like it and that's who supposed to be Bub favorite auntie? TUH.

"You know I am." I nodded, stuffing my face with food

"He got new jers- hold on, this Draya." He said, Draya was his baby mom

"Okay." I said, then he ended the call

I continued on watching Power, alternating from eating my bowl to my burrito. They each had different things on them, so it made it better

"Man, I went to ole girl house and her pussy had so many razor bumps." Kai scoffed, rubbing his chin

"You fucked up 'bout some razor bumps?" Sergio laughed as he cut the back of Kai's head

"Hell yeah, Ian on allat." Kai shook his head

"Don't tell me you goin' around some shit that's bumped up like herpes."

"Man, I run my fingers across razor bumps while I'm in it like I'm tryna read braille." Sergio joked, chuckling

"Nah, you tripping, gang."

Kai kept messing with me after their weird ass conversation. so I took what I had left of my food which was half of my burrito, and went into my room

"So? They shouldn't care that he have money, they need own money. I heard that he beat bitches." I made as face as I spoke with Jae over FaceTime

I was on the way to my nephew's game, wearing the new jerseys that Salem dropped off. It looked better than the previous ones

"Beat bitches? Girlllll." Jae laughed

"Mhm, just because he pay for this and that don't make him a good guy." I shrugged my shoulders

"You right, I just never heard that I only heard he was a trick. I was finna put my homegirl on, but now hell no." She shook her head in disapproval

"Who?" I asked, wanting to know which homegirl

"Oh, that girl. I don't know why she be doing that." I said, keeping it short

But to keep it long, she goes after any guy she sees doing for his bitch. I just don't know why she thinks that he's going to do the same for her, at the end of the day she's not that girl and that not girl not her

"Doing what?" She asked

I gave her a look because she knew good and damn well. "You know what she be doing."

She busted out laughing, covering her mouth with her hand. "No, that do be embarrassing, but she don't listen."

"All you can do is pray for her and keep Aj tight." I sighed as leaned forward to see if a car was coming, so I could hit a U-turn

"Speaking of Aj, we going out tonight and I don't have shit to where and that's upsetting me and my homegirls."

"Because if you can't find an outfit what the hell could you wear?" I finished her sentence, making her laugh

I pulled into the parking lot of the field where the game was being held, and parked in the Handicap

When I broke my leg during track season, I went to the doctor and got a note, then went to the DMV. Nothing was wrong with my leg anymore, but it definitely still got used

"I think Ima have my sister take me to the mall, get a lil sweatsuit from PINK." She said

"Matter fact, I'm finna call her, lemme call you back."

When she hung up, "AirBnb" by ian began to play again from before she called me. I skipped it, and "Help Me" by Real Boston Richey played

I didn't even see a point in changing the song because I was getting out, but I began grabbing my things

Before getting out, I grabbed my purse, phone, keys, and the gift bag I had for Bub because I made a deal with him. He had to win at least three games out of the most recent five and get at least one touchdown in all the games that they won

Bub had been asking for the Jordan 11 Retro Gratitude's from me, they were in the box in the silver gift bag

After locking my car doors and checking myself in the window, I started heading up to the booty

"What's up, how many tickets you need?" The teenage boy at the booth asked

"Aight, that's go'n be $25." He said, rubbing his hands together

I really wanted to bat the fuck out of him, but they get a pass because they're like the ONLY sport team that games actually accept cash

It's so annoying trying to go to a game, like no I don't want to scan the QR code and have to wait forever because of the horrible connection

I went in my purse, handing him a twenty and a five, then receiving my ticket and went in

The game had literally just started, and I started making way to where I seen Salem and Draya

"Hey, y'all. Where my parents?" I asked, giving Draya a hug, then Salem

"Boy, don't put on for your sister." She playfully side-eyed him

"Anyways, they went to the concession stand. We was finna go up there too, it's nothing really going on right now." She told

"Okay, come on." I gestured for both of them to come

The concession stand was close, so we were talking for like a minute or two

It was bright outside, but I was still trying to look at the game. I could see Bub, #7, but he was on the bench

"Hold on, I thought that Bub starts." I spoke confused

"He do, I gotta go say sum to his coach assum." He shook his head, scoffing

"Right." She agreed

As I walked up, I spotted Renzo which made me squint, and I walked yo to him

His back was turned to me, I slightly tugged on his long sleeve shirt to get his attention

He turned around, clutching something in his pants. "Boy, you wasn't go'n shoot nothing."

"Yes the fuck I was, coming all up on me." He frowned, wiping off where I tugged on

"Do not play with me, Renzo." I mugged him as my parents, Salem, and Draya got food

"I'm bull shitting, I forgot yo' nephew play fa the opps." He laughed, and I rolled my eyes

"And they finna spank the Dolphins." I bucked at him

"Ion give a fuck, long live Dolph." He pushed my shoulder

"Who are you even here with like bruh." I squinted at him, crossing my arms

"Q and Serg, they lil brothers play fa the Dolphins." He said as he looked behind me because of the games
